The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of SBAR(Situation-Background-Assessment-Recommendation) reports on communication clarity, communication skill and report confident for nursing students. This study used a one group pre-post test design. The subjects of this study were 44 nursing students from G city, and collected by self - report questionnaires from march 6 to april 20, 2018. Data were analyzed by frequencies, paried t-test using SPSS Win 23.0. After SBAR reports education, levels of nursing student's communication clarity(t=-8.12, p<.001), communication skill(t=-4.37, p<.001) and report confident(t=-7.67, p<.001) were significantly higher than levels before SBAR reports education. SBAR reports education improved the communication clarity communication skill and report confident. It is recommended to use a lot of SBAR in clinical practice.

This study was conducted to identify the impact factors of SBAR reporting education applied during clinical practice of nursing students on communication clarity, communication satisfaction, reporting confidence, and communication competency. Data collection period was from December 1st, 2019 to December 20th, 2019 and two nursing universities extracted conveniently for third graders who completed clinical practice for more than six weeks. The number of eligible applicants is 103 who received SBAR reporting and training and 113 who did not receive training. Data were analyzed by t-tests, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient analysis using the SPSS 21.0 program. Positive correlation were between communication clarity and communication competency(r=.52, p<.001), and between reporting confidence and communication satisfaction(r=.53, p<.001), communication competency and reporting confidence(r=.46, p<.001). communication competency was a significant influence factor with communication clarity(𝛽=.28, p<.001), communication satisfaction(𝛽=.43, p<.001), and reporting confidence(𝛽=.15, p=.009) 49.0% explanatory power. In conclusion, it is necessary for nursing students to develop educational systems and teaching methods to strengthen the reporting system by identifying practical skills during clinical practice.

Communication is an important factor for nurses to lead successful nursing interventions by establishing therapeutic relationships with the subjects and cooperative relationships between the various occupations. The purpose of this study was to develop a communication education program to nurse college students to improve communication skills among medical professionals and to analyze the effects of the program. The subjects of this study were 54 students in the 4th grade of P nursing. The results of this study showed that there was a significant difference between the subjects' communication clarity(t=-7.75, p<.001) and self-leadership (t=-4.43, p<.001). Satisfaction with communication increased after the training but there was no significant difference (t=-1.22, p=.226). In conclusion, communication program using SBAR has a positive effect on clarity of communication and self-leadership of nursing students, and it is necessary to develop continuous education that can develop various scenarios and repeat training.

This study is a single-group study to check the effectiveness of nursing students on their communication credibility, communication confidence and clinical decision-making ability by implementing SBAR-applied simulation training to improve the difficulty of delivering clear information to medical personnel during transition. By combining simulation practices and SBAR training based on emergency situations of mothers and newborns, programs were developed and applied to communicate clearly and briefly to the medical staff about emergencies and to enhance communication skills. The subjects were 91 fourth-year nursing college students from one university in B metropolitan city. The data were collected from Feb. 18, 2019 to Feb. 28, 2019 and were analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 18.0 program as a paired t-test. The results revealed that the communication clarity measured after the simulation exercise (t=-3.99, p<.001), Communication Confidence (t=-8.60, p<.001), Clinical Decision Capacity (t=-4.66, p<.001) Statistically, it has increased significantly. Therefore, the purpose of this research is significant in that it seeks to promote the expertise of nursing college students by developing and applying simulation practical education programs to enhance the communication skills and clinical decision-making skills of nursing college students as prospective medical personnel.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendations(SBAR) program and to test the effects of the program on communication clarity, clinical competence, and self-efficacy for clinical nurses in cancer hospitals. Methods: This study applied a nonequivalent control group non-synchronized design. There were 28 participants in the intervention group and 27 in the control group. SBAR program consisted of 4 parts and applied for 6 weeks in the intervention group. Data were analyzed with ${\chi}^2$ test, Fisher's exact test, t-test and ANCOVA using the SPSS program. Results: Communication clarity, clinical competence and self efficacy were significantly increased in the intervention group compared to those in the control group. Conclusion: These results suggest that SBAR program may improve communication clarity, clinical competence and self-efficacy for clinical nurses in cancer hospitals. Therefore, it is required to actively take advantage of this program to improve communication clarity among medical staffs, clinical competence, and self-efficacy in clinical nursing practices.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of team - based simulation training in nursing students on critical thinking and communication clarity. This study was conducted from October 2017 to November 2017 for 69 students (33 experimental group and 36 control group) who took a course of "Basic Nursing Theory and Practice" students in a major nursing student in P city, Gyeongbuk province. Collection and analysis. In this study, we conducted a questionnaire survey using a tool of critical accidents measurement by Yoon Jin(2004) and a communication clarity tool by Hye - jin Jo(2013). Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 23.0, Chi-square, Fisher's exact test, t-test and ANCOVA. Data analysis showed that the groups participating in the SBAR team based simulation training were significantly more effective than the control group in critical thinking (F = 11.91, p <.001) and communication clarity (F = 4.40, p = .040). Based on these results, it is shown that using SBAR team - based simulation learning for nursing students is effective in teaching 'fundamental nursing and practice' and can be recommended as teaching method for nursing students.
