The sample consisted of 616 females aged 20-30 who were shopping at department stores and shopping malls in Busan. Data were analyzed with factor analysis, t-test, cross analysis and path analysis. The results showed that consumers of department stores showed more strongly convenient orientation than those of the shopping mall, consumers of the shopping mall showed more strongly recreational orientation and practical orientation than those of the department. Stores services of the department were perceived better than that of the shopping mall in promotional services, salespersons' services and environmental services. But it didn't show any differences between store types in product services. Consumers 'satisfaction with the service was greater in department stores than the shopping mall. But it didn't show any difference between apparel store types in the impulsive buying behaviors. Impulsive buying behavior of department store shoppers is directly affected by a shopper' shopping orientation as well as store service quality perceived by shoppers rather than a shopper' satisfaction. The service quality does not have directly related to consumers’ service satisfaction. The causal relationships of impulsive buying behaviors showed similarity in shopping malls and department stores. The perceived quality and satisfaction with store service were higher at department store than shopping malls. In impulse buying behavior of a department store was directly affected by a shopper' shopping orientation as well as store service quality perceived by shoppers rather than a shopper’ store service satisfaction.

The purposes of this study was to investigate the effects of materialism value on the clothing shopping orientation and impulse buying behaviors of Chinese female consumers. The subjects were 417 female millennials in Gillim-province, China. The research method was a survey, and the questionnaire consisted of questions to ascertain materialism value, clothing shopping orientation, impulse buying behaviors, and the subjects' demographic characteristics. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, Cronbach's α, factor analysis, and regression analysis were performed. The results of this study were as follows: First, materialism value was derived with 3 factors (happiness pursuit, possession-oriented, and success judgement). Second, the clothing shopping orientation was derived with 5 factors (trend pursuit, pleasure pursuit, brand pursuit, economic pursuit, and convenience pursuit). Third, the impulse buying behavior was derived with 4 factors (pure, planned, reminder, and implicit impulse buying). Forth, materialism value had significant effects on clothing shopping orientation. The higher the value of materialism, the more the brand pursuit, pleasure pursuit, and trend pursuit shopping orientation increased, while the economic pursuit and convenience pursuit shopping orientation decreased. Fifth, materialism value had significant effect on pure and planned impulse buying behaviors. As the value of materialism increased, pure and planned impulsive buying behaviors increased. Fourth, female students sought more aesthetics, fashionability, brand, and price in clothing coml)wed to male students. Male students in high and middle groups tended to seek more aesthetics, fashionability, and brand than those in the low group, but all three groups didn't consider price benefit sought. Female students with high body cathexis and appearance interest tended to seek more aesthetics and fashionability than those in other three groups. And only the group with low body cathexis and appearance interest didn't consider brand benefit sought. All four groups were found to consider price benefit sought. The purpose of this research Is to inquire into the aspects of consumers' perception of age and their lifestyle and to reveal the effect of variability in spending behaviors themselves. A survey was carried out regarding the consumers of the new elderly generation aged 55 and above. 561 respondents were surveyed. residing in Seoul and Metropolitan areas. Factor analysis from the exploratory reconnaissance, Cronbach's $\alpha$, K-average community and multivariate analysis, multi-recurrence and crossing analysis($\chi^2$ verified), were used for statistics analysis. In conclusion, the cognitive age only shared a marginal relationship with lifestyle, most people in their forties stood out in this part of the research. The change of the cognitive age and lifestyle of the new elderly generation is expected to be a variable in the clothing purchasing behavior in the future. As the population of the new elderly generation increases, there is a need for changing views towards the new elderly generation and there is no doubt that it is a main target within marketing trends in the elderly generation industry.

The most important clothing consumption values to the middle-aged homemakers based on the observed clothing benefits were, in order: social value, emotional value, epistemic value, functional value, and conditional value. Second, the type of clothing purchase was observed to be planned buying, followed by impulse buying, and compensatory buying. Data were collected from 175 female and 169 male college students living in Beijing, and analysed by factor analysis, cluster analysis, ANDVA, Duncan test, crosstabulation analysis, and frequency analysis. Chinese college students were classified into four groups by their shopping orientations; fashion-pursuit type, individuality-pursuit type, practical type, and apathetic type. Significant differences were found in store evaluative criteria, clothing evaluative criteria, purchasing behaviors, and demographic characteristics. The fashion-pursuit type and individuality-pursuit type were more influenced by store location and service, product attributes, and fashion. They purchased more frequently and spent more money. Esthetic clothing evaluative criteria were considered more important by the individuality-pursuit type than the others, and symbolic clothing evaluative criteria by the fashion-pursuit type.
