As the music streaming service and the Hi-Fi market grow, various audio devices are being released. As a result, consumers have a wider range of product choices, but it has become more difficult to find products that match their musical tastes. In this study, we proposed a system that extracts the vocal component from the user's preferred sound source and recommends the most suitable audio device to the user based on this information. To achieve this, first, the original sound source was separated using Python's Spleeter Library, the vocal sound source was extracted, and the result of collecting frequency band data of manufacturers' audio devices was shown in a grid graph. The Matching Gap Index (MGI) was proposed as an indicator for comparing the frequency band of the extracted vocal sound source and the measurement data of the frequency band of the audio devices. Based on the calculated MGI value, the audio device with the highest similarity with the user's preference is recommended. The recommendation results were verified using equalizer data for each genre provided by sound professional companies.

Sound Art (Sonic Art) is a branch of contemporary art that has been practiced dominantly in Europe and the Americas since the mid-20th century; and in Korea, it tends to be regarded as a multiple art field or as a subgenre of contemporary music or media art. Since the 2000s, some leading universities in North America and Europe have been opened sound art majors, producing talented people who specialize in this field or work as practical artists, yet it is still considered a non-mainstream art field. It is difficult to find schools that have opened sound arts as their major program in domestic universities. Along with the introduction of a liberal arts curriculum model and teaching methods used in the <Sound Art of Modern Society> course operated in a four-year university in South Korea, this paper discusses the possibility of using sound art as a main subject in liberal arts learning in higher education as a creative fusion liberal arts subject.
Ever since the beginning of time, caves not only have offered a place to live for humans but they have also been used as cultural spaces. That is, in the event of making some sounds in a location within the cave, the sound that is created is greatly magnified and sounds out as if it is being amplified from a giant megaphone. This, as we well know it, is known as the resonance effect. Here, the cave itself appears to function as a massive wind instrument. Especially in cases like the Altamira Cave (Spain) where cave paintings were found, the point where the cave drawings were found has commonalities in that it is a wide space and that it is usually discovered together with flutes and drums that are made with mammoth bones. We need to focus on this point. We can infer from these facts that the prehistoric people have carried out cultural activities along with their incantation rituals within those caves. In the meantime, amongst the Korean traditional arts, in the case of pansori which is a representative vocal genre, there have been examples where caves were used as practicing locations for those people who are training to perfect their singing. This is known as toguldoggong(土窟獨功) which literally means 'obtaining one's own art by oneself in the earth cave by practicing incessantly'. This process along with pokpodoggong (瀑布獨功) (same as above except that the location is by the waterfall) is the final training stage in order to become a recognized virtuoso on the part of the apprentice. This could be compared to the final annealing and finishing process of producing a metalwork. This has been a long tradition followed by most Korean traditional artists in order to perfect their sound which is harmonious with nature within natural surroundings. By honing in on this point, I have come to think about this matter repeatedly while coaching the university students in vocal singing. In short, I came to the conclusion that "the making of natural sounds will be obtained naturally within natural surroundings like caves!" Consequently, The Society for Studying Cave Sounds was inaugurated on January 1992 along with some of my students. We made use of times like vacations to go around exploring caves all over Jeju and carried out investigations of sounds along with cave exploration on an experimental basis. After 5 years, in September of 1997, we were able to host the first ever cave concert domestically at the Whale Nostril Cave(東岸鯨窟) on Wu-do. After that, we have been hosting the cave concert once every year. We have achieved a record of a total of 14 cave concerts until 2009 of this year. Out of these, 2 were held in Seokhwaeam Cave in Kangwon Province, another two were held in Manjang Cave which is a lava cave, and the remaining 10 were held in the Whale Nostril Cave of Wu-do. Along with that, I have carried out a special recording for the production of a cave music CD in May of 1999. This paper was written and organized by using the main materials that were derived from the experiences of using caves as concert halls in the past. It is hoped that this cave concert will offer a very unique experience to tourists who come to Jeju every year and give them the best possible superior natural sound effect that only Jeju caves can offer.
In this study, it was witnessed that a variety of tests are implemented in a type of convergence of multimedia such as photos, sounds, and videos as well as letters and drawings, components of existing traditional comics as comics are digitalized and are converted to various devices. Therefore, we studied the concept of multimedia comics as a basis of this study by judging that new barometer to comics lies in convergence with such multimedia. After recognizing components of multimedia comics which are currently emerging, we categorized them into three types depending on how to use these elements. First, convergence type webtoon has a very similar format with existing vertical scrolling webtoon and has characteristics that background & effects sounds are added to emphasize the features of webtoon, or photos or videos are inserted in part, and there is no function to control these elements; Second, motion comic, a medium format between comic and animation has a characteristic that sound, video, paging are auto-played like watching animation but it keeps the format of comics within one frame; Third, interactive comic has a characteristic that effects sound, motion, and story are made by active participation of viewers. As a result of analyzing comics which having above multimedia characteristics, its implications are as followings: First, multimedia elements should be used depending on genre, age, and media; Second, high level of control technology considering the features of comic-viewers is needed. In other words, in continuously evolving media environments, comic contents being proper to targets and use purposes of viewers should be developed. For this, multimedia elements of comics should be used in order that comic-viewers can have active & interactive communication with contents.

The researcher in this study surveyed students of Seoul S University who had experiences with such culture and arts website to validate the model empirically. The results, firstly, if you experienced feeling related to pleasure and dominance in culture and arts website, you would satisfy this website and it could lead to loyalty. Secondly, the feeling related to ventilation does not affect the loyalty through satisfaction and word of mouth. Thirdly, the results show that all of three factors of emotional responses do not influence the loyalty through word of mouth.

The effective searching for performing arts contents can be achieved by providing various access points and searching methods based on specialized metadata. The purpose of this study is to develop a faceted navigation interface which user could effectively and efficiently retrieve performing arts contents even if the users do not know accurate descriptive information about them. Therefore, the study, first, investigated search access points and navigation items providing by other the performing arts retrieval systems and to analyze information seeking behaviors of university students who major in music, dance and theater. And then, the study proposed the 36 facets with the 9 main facet categories suitable for performing arts and also proposed 27 descriptive elements suitable for performing arts contents. Finally, the study developed the performing arts contents retrieval system based faceted navigation interface with 3,360 experimental data and conducted an in-depth interview in terms of usability, serendipity, and efficiency. The applying the faceted navigations for searching performing arts contents will help users access and utilize them in the retrieval system and moreover satisfy user demands.

Acjee and Acjanggasa. named ByulGok. is divided into two types. according to the characteries of the forms.: Koryo Sokyo. or the folk songs in Koryo. such as Chengsanbylulgok. and Segyoungbyulgok. and Kyonggichega, or nobility songs in Koryo and Chosen Dynasty. such as Hallimbyulgok. Kwandongbyulgok. and Jucgyebyulgok. In addition. Gasa. or the nobility and folk songs in Chosen Dynasty. such as K wandongbyulgok. also has the title. Byul-Gok. Even though these types of the songs have the same tittle. Byul-Gok, it is not appropriate that Byul-Gok is used as a term described as a branch of the literature: in light of music. they have the properties in common in the sense that they are opposite to the Court music. but. in light of literature. their forms are very different from one another. Therefore, it is appropriate that they are classified according to the characteristics of the forms, winters, the ideology of people who enjoy them, and periods: Sokyo, Kyonggichega, and Gasa. Byul-gok means not only the folks songs opposite to the court musics, but also the songs by setting words to the melodies present. Orignal tunes and their new tunes are not different musical compositions, but the same ones with the melodies which Korean acquired transcendentally. It is general tendency, at those times, that after compositions were made, words are set to them. Such words represent the politic thought in which courtesy and music are considered important. and the spirit with which the ruler and the people enjoy together.

In this paper, the proposed movie recommender system constructs trust network, which is similar to social network, using user's trust information that users explicitly present. Recommendation on items is performed by using relation degree between users and information of recommended item is provided by a visualization method. We discover the hidden relationships via the constructed trust network. To provide visualized recommendation information, we employ Freebase which is large knowledge base supporting information such as movie, music, and people in structured format. We provide three visualization methods as the followings: i) visualization based on movie posters with the number of movies that user required. ii) visualization on extra information such as director, actor and genre and so on when user selected a movie from recommendation list. iii) visualization based on movie posters that is recommended by neighbors who a user selects from trust network. The proposed system considers user's social relations and provides visualization which can reflect user's requirements. Using the visualization methods, user can reach right decision making on items. Furthermore, the proposed system reflects the user's opinion through recommendation visualization methods and can provide rich information to users through LOD(Linked Open Data) Cloud such as Freebase, LinkedMDB and Wikipedia and so on.
The characteristics of performing arts differ from those of utilitarian goods in terms of economics. Factors other than price need to be considered to understand the demand for performing arts. Audience surveys as well as econometric demand studies have confirmed that socio-economic factors such as age, income, employment, and education are major determinants of the demand for performing arts. This study focused on the attributes of concerts rather than consumer characteristics to determine the concerts audiences select in terms of transaction cost. Genre, price, internet search trends, and the purpose of performance as well as price are tested as determinants of demand by using the data set for a major concert hall in Seoul. Genre and the specific purpose of concerts influence the demand for concerts. Internet search trends of the performer are used as indicators of popularity and information exposure, which are positively correlated with demand. This result supports the hypothesis that larger audiences would attend concerts that require lower information search costs. To note, price has a positive effect on demand in the higher price range, which means that concerts at higher prices attract larger audiences, whereas normal goods have a negative slope in the demand curve. This result can be explained by the hypothesis that consumers use price as an indicator of the quality expected of a concert. Transaction cost for selecting classical concerts thus forms an inverse-U shape curve against ticket price. These results provide some explanation of why audiences of classical music choose to attend concerts at high ticket prices while offering evidence in favor of the hypothesis that performing arts are selected in a social context.
