The purpose of this study was to investigate the expectation toward medical artificial intelligence(AI) of students in majoring health, and to utilize it as a basic data for widespread use of medical AI for 500 students majoring in health science at Cheonan city. The awareness of AI was 18.6%, the reliability of AI was 24.8%, and agreement to use of medical AI was 38%. Also, the higher the awareness and reliability of AI were, the higher the expectation of AI was. As a result, education on medical AI in the major field should be a cornerstone for the development of an effective healthcare environment utilizing medical AI by raising awareness, reliability and expectation of AI.

Society is operating with software and a new digital era through the Internet of Things started. A variety of fields are being in conjunction with each other based on computing. As problems in real life become more complicated and communication based on various knowledge and problem solving skills are emphasized, these changes are reflected in the curriculum. These changes started from overseas in advance then Korea includes SW education in elementary and secondary education through curriculum revision of 2015. On the other hand, SW education for university students just started after the curriculum revision of elementary and secondary education. The new SW education highlights and develops Computational Thinking beyond programming and it will be a key for the future. Therefore, this study analyzed trends of Computational Thinking and examples of CT courses in Universities. Suggestions and ideas for instructional model to develop Computational Thinking were discussed.

The development of technology has always been influencing the worldview of the time, and this has been embodied through artistic media and contents throughout history. This paper begins with an overview on how the notion of movement in art has developed with the juxtaposition of materiality and immateriality or the conversion between the two by rethinking Kinetic Art which was popularized in the mid-twentieth century in America and Europe. Then, this is compared with New Media Art which employs advanced digital media techniques to generate virtual images. New Media Art requires some kinds of physical mechanisms and space for the embodiment of virtual images to some extent. The coexistence of material and immaterial aspects of New Media art is investigated through the contextualization with certain aspects of Kinetic Art.

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of moral elevation and self control on the relationship between moral identity, character strengths, family strengths, and altruistic behavior in the times of convergence. The collected data were analyzed by SEM. The results of this study were as follows: First, moral self has indirect effect on altruistic behavior through moral elevation and self control in turn, and character strengths, have indirect effect on altruistic behavior through moral elevation and self control and moral elevation, self control in turn, and family strengths have indirect effect on altruistic behavior through self control. Second, it was found that there was a significant gender difference in the structural weights of character strengths and moral elevation.

Given social problems of service addiction such as mobile messenger services(MMSs), many studies on service management and information systems have examined the negative outcomes of service addiction. MMS addiction significantly influences user's health and academic performance. In this regard, this study investigated the effects of MMS addiction on user's health and academic performance problems. We posit personal traits and service features as key antecedents of MMS addiction. The research framework was tested by using survey data collected from 162 university students who have frequently used Kakaotalk. The analysis results found that MMS addiction significantly influences users' health and academic performance problems. The findings of this study indicate that self-esteem and self-control play an important role in generating MMS addiction. While attention significantly affects MMS addiction, social relationship formation and perceived enjoyment are not significantly associated with MMS addiction. The analysis results help MMS providers and government establish policies or guidelines to induce healthy MMS use.

Due to globalization, more foreign-owned small businesses have been joining the South Korean economy. In order to better support the growth, this study's purpose is to identify foreign entrepreneur demographics and company information as well as entrepreneurial motivations and perceived success factors. To fulfill these goals, a survey of 98 immigrant entrepreneurs from 31 countries doing business within the local Korean market was conducted. The results show that most foreign-owned small businesses are service-oriented and primarily started for intrinsic reasons. It was also identified that the perceived business success determinants that the government can most directly affect are skills-based, rather than infrastructure or financially oriented. Furthermore, top issues include unreliable employees, language barrier and too much competition. The findings of this study are particularly relevant to both academics and policy makers alike because almost no prior foreign entrepreneur-focused research has been conducted in Korea.

Since the advent of Apple's iPhone, the smartphone industry has been producing new technologies and concepts at an accelerated pace. The speed of progress in this sector is exponentially increasing in accordance with Moore's Law, and smartphones are rapidly changing various aspects of human life. Especially, object control technologies using smartphones are being utilized in various sectors, including robots, home automation, and smart objects. However, the current smartphone object control technology is limited in terms of multicontrol. This study proposes the combined usage of the Bluetooth and Zigbee Modules for multiple object control using smartphones, and presents the necessary application design properties and the methodology for Zigbee communication. The study is an attempt at a territorial expansion of design, as a proposal of new methods for utilizing smartphones in the age of smart objects.

Most recent trend reveals broader state of provision of NFC service as NFC technology was applied on smartphones which has become core communication tools by providing integrated services such as payment, medical, and personal authentication. Moreover, with integration of original service and NFC technology, new service providers now can handle personal information of original service or can handle other personal information with transition of previous service provider to NFC service provider. Considering current state of security industry along with NFC technology and service, we would like to analyze current stage of security threats and plan the counter strategies to create NFC service structure.

The Fourth Industrial Revolution has emerged, and technologies of various industries are being converged, compounded, or clouded computing, mobile, or big data. The emergence of a variety of skills and new jobs to match them is bringing the public out of the education and occupation of traditional metal crafts. In this change, craft education should find and study the education method suitable for the present times, and apply it to the educational field to raise public interest and revival. To this end, we will investigate the cases of education in other industries where new materials or technologies have been introduced, and use them in education of traditional metal craft techniques. In addition, we will investigate various cases and features of 3D printing technology and use it for education in craft techniques that have limited time, space and resources.

This study examined the moderating effects of gender on the influences of parental parenting attitudes on peer attachment in early adolescents. Data analysis was conducted over 1,912 respondents who met the purpose of this study among Korean Youth Panel KCYPS 7th year data of 1st grade in elementary school. The research methods examined the influence of variables on dependent variable, with difference of gender influences. As a result, it was found that gender, the control variable, and overall grade satisfaction affected peer attachment. Second, positive and negative parenting attitudes have confirmed positive and negative effects on peer attachment. Third, moderating effect was confirmed as parenting attitudes by gender show the difference of impact on peer attachment. Therefore, this study suggest to apply it to practical and theoretical implications and basic data for the program development to improve youth peer relations.
