Efficient management strategy for untact real-time early childhood physical education(ECPE) (실시간 비대면 유아체육 수업의 효율적 운영방안 제시)

  • The purpose of this study was to propose an efficient management strategy for untact real-time early childhood physical education(ECPE). The studay method was used in-depth interview, non-participant observation. The results of the study ar as follows. First, factors to be considered for untact real-time ECPE are 'location', 'communication', 'program', facilities' and 'equipment.' Second, for the effective untact real-time ECPE management, 'class design', 'class preparation', 'remote manager', and 'teaching ability.' are the sub-factors. The more of research on untact real-time ECPE are needed. Based on this study, it is hoped that an effective operation plan for untact real-time ECPE classes will be prepared.

A Study on Attributes to Select the Physical Education Institutes for Preschoolers in Directors of Educational Institutes for Preschoolers (유아교육기관장의 유아체육교육기관에 대한 선택속성 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to suggest rating factors of the importance and the satisfaction for selecting physical education institutes for preschoolers and to provide an implication of vitalizing physical education class for preschooler with comparative analysis between importance and satisfaction using IPA analysis. 253 directors of educational institutes for preschooler have chosen through a convenience sampling method, and 430 was used for analysis. The results were as follows. First, the instructor qualification items and the program items ranked highly positions in physical education institute for preschooler. Second, the instructor qualification items, the program items, tuition items of discount benefit and institution image items of reputation had the significant difference between importance and satisfaction. Lastly, The quadrant I is "the keep up the good work" part and includes 8 items such as the expertise of the physical education teacher for preschooler. The quadrant II is "the concentrate here" part and includes 2 items such as teaching ability of the physical education teacher for preschooler. The quadrant III is "the low priority" part and includes 6 items such as reasonable prices of tuitions.

Different of Physical Activity Using Visual Stimulation Smart Device on Children's Athletic Ability and Attention Concentration (시각자극 스마트기기를 활용한 체육활동에 따른 유아의 운동능력과 주의 집중력의 차이)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of physical activity using visual stimulation smart devices on the athletic performance and attention - The conclusion is as follows. The physical activity using visual stimulation smart device was applied to the infant. The pre - and post - experiment results showed that the infants of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group. Specifically, the ability of the infant to participate in physical activity using the visual stimulation smart device was improved by sit-up bending and centering ability. Also, physical activity using visual stimulation smart device helped to improve attention of infants. In other words, it was confirmed that information and communication technology (ICT) and physical activity affect both physical and cognitive development of infants. Therefore, in order to improve the athletic ability and concentration of children more effectively, it is possible to maximize the educational effect by teaching the contents using various contents that can motivate the infant rather than the same teaching method.

The Effect of Early Childhood Educational Institute Directors of Attributes for Selecting Physical Education Institutes for Preschooler on Relationship Quality and Loyalty (유아교육기관장의 유아체육교육기관에 대한 선택속성이 관계품질 및 충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aims to find out the effect of attributes for selecting physical education institutions for preschooler by the director of early childhood education institutions on relationship quality and loyalty. The subjects were 254 directors of early childhood education institutions, which offer visiting physical education of physical education institutions for preschooler located in Busan and Gyeongnam Province, using convenience sampling method. 244 questionnaires of them were used for analysis. First, among attributes for selecting physical education institutions for preschooler recognized by the directors of early childhood education institutions, instructors qualification and the image of the institution had a positive influence on relationship satisfaction and all the four variables of early childhood education institutions directors' attributes had a positive effect on relationship trust. Second, among the four variables of attributes for selecting physical education institutions for preschooler recognized by the directors of early childhood education institutions, instructors qualification, tuition fee, and the image of the institution had a positive influence on loyalty. Third, both the two variables of relationship quality of the director of early childhood education institutions toward preschool physical education institutions had a positive influence on loyalty.

The Effects of Physical Activity Programs on Physical Fitness, Blood Lipids, and Growth-Related Factors among Young Normal Weight and Obese Children (유아체육프로그램이 정상체중유아와 비만유아의 체력과 혈중지질 및 성장관련인자에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to examine the effects of physical activity programs on young children's body composition, physical fitness, blood lipids, and growth-related factors. Fourteen young male child subjects participated in this study. Experimental groups were divided into a young obese children group (OG; n=7) and a young normal weight children group (NG; n=7). The subjects performed supervised physical activity programs with moderate intensity for 12 weeks, 40 minutes per session, 3 times per week. The results of this study are as follows: HDL-C, growth hormone, and IGF-I were significantly increased in NG, but OG was showed no changes. Physical fitness was significantly increased in both NG and OG. This study demonstrated that physical activity programs have a positive effect on the prevention of obesity, as well as a positive effect on growth and development in young normal weight children. However, long-term follow-up studies are necessary to clarify the additive effect of exercise program with behavior modification in young obese children.

Effects of Gamified Disability Awareness Program on the Peers' Disability (게임화된 장애체험활동이 비장애아동의 장애인식에 미치는 영향)

  • In this study, the effect of gamified disability awareness program was researched to examine its potential to be used as a disability awareness curriculum particular to Korean schools. The gamified program consisted of lessons related to disability skiing such as learning about Paralympic skier, experiencing mono skis, and participating in cooperative games. To examine its effectiveness, Multidimensional Attitudes Scale towards persons with disabilities (MAS) was used. Results indicate that the attitude of the experiment group showed significant change.

An Empirical Comparison of Statistical Models for Pre-service Teachers' Help Networks using Binary and Valued Exponential Random Graph Models (예비교원의 도움 네트워크에 관한 통계 모형의 경험적 비교: 이항 및 가중 ERGM을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to empirically compare statistical models for pre-service teachers' help networks. We identified similarities and differences based on the results of the binary and valued ERGM. Research questions are as follows: First, what are the similarities of factors influencing the binary/valued help network for pre-service teachers? Second, what are differences of factors influencing the binary/valued help network for pre-service teachers? We measured 42 pre-service teachers with focus on their help and friend networks, happiness, and personal characteristics. Results indicated that, first, the similar factors influencing the binary and valued help network of pre-service teachers were local dependencies (reciprocity, transitivity), similarity (major, gender), activity (early childhood education, negative emotion), popularity (early childhood education) and multiplicity (friend network). Second, the difference between factors affecting pre-service teacher's binary and valued help network was the effect of activity (physical education) and popularity (GPA, negative emotion). Based on these findings, we presented implications.

Comparative Analysis of Disaster Safety Education Contents of National Curriculum in Korea : Focusing on the 2019 Revised Nuri Curriculum and the 2015 Revised Curriculum (우리나라 국가수준 교육과정의 재난안전 교육내용 비교 분석 : 2019 개정 누리과정과 2015 개정 교육과정을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the 2019 Revised Nuri Curriculum and the 2015 Revised Curriculum for the comparative analysis of disaster safety education contents in the national level curriculum. The main results of this study are as follows: First, the content of disaster safety education for preschoolers in the 2019 Revised Nuri Curriculum was clarified as 'Knowing how to react in case of accident, fire, disaster, abuse, kidnap etc.' in 'Living safety' category of physical exercise and health sections. Second, in the 2015 Revised Curriculum, disaster safety education contents for elementary school students were found to have the difference between school year in same elementary school curriculum. For first and second graders, 'Disaster safety' was cleary presented in one of major categories of 'Living safety', which was newly created at the creative activity in the Revised 2015 Curriculum. On the other hand, for third to sixth graders, safety education is dispersed in the related subjects such as physical education, science, practical courses or in the creativity activity. Third, the safety contents in the Revised 2015 Curriculum for middle school and high school were also found to be dispersed in social studies, physical education, science, technology-home economics and creativity activity. The results of this study showed that the contents of disaster safety education in the national curriculum did not have continuity and systemicity from kindergarten to high school. Therefore, efforts should be made to ensure continuity and systemicity of disaster safety education contents when the national curriculum is revised in the future.

A Comparative Study on Space Organization of Kindergarten in Korea and Japan (한국과 일본 유치원의 공간구성 실태 비교)

  • This study aims to find a direction for desirable space organization in future Korean kindergartens by analyzing the current status of space organization in Japanese kindergartens. This study includes comparisons and analyses of Korean and Japanese curricula, facility standards on the national level and standards of national subsidy, current numbers of kindergarteners and preschoolers, and changes in kindergarten facilities over the last 5 years. Six kindergartens each in Korea and Japan, which were constructed after 2011 or are recommended as being good in space organization and kindergarten planning, are selected. The contents of space organization analysis are 'entry and placement, outdoor space', 'space program,' and 'plan design and organization of unit space'. In conclusion, in terms of space organization, Korean and Japanese kindergartens are very similar to each other. However, Japanese kindergartens have more outdoor space about $9.75m^2$ and lot area about $11.89m^2$ than Korean kindergartens. The extra space was used to educate students in various contents regarding social network and physical activity. Furthermore, in Japan, special spaces such as "atelier classes" and "PTA" were used for various types of education. Based on the results of the study will be developed, such as specific models and guidelines for the improvement of facilities Korea kindergarten.
