This study explores what factors influence college students' synchronous online learning satisfaction and what advantages and disadvantages exist when it comes to taking synchronous online learning courses. In-depth interview results suggest that advantages of synchronous online learning are convenience (no need for travel, no limitation for study place), saving money, and no worry for contracting Corona 19. However, disadvantages of synchronous online learning are instability of online learning system, lack of interaction between learners and educators, difficulty of instant communication, low education quality, and unfairness of exams. This study found that college students taking synchronous online course think that synchronous online learning is more appropriate for theory-based course than practice-based courses in that theory-based courses are lecture-oriented while practice-based courses require interactivity between learners and educators. This study provides educators a baseline understanding on how college students think over synchronous online learning and how to enhance students' satisfaction with synchronous online learning.

This study was designed to find out the efficacy of college students' lecture participation in online real-time lectures conducted at university due to the Corona virus events. Participants in this study are 701 students attending the W University in the J region and participating in real-time online lectures. The tools of this study consisted of four factors: interaction, learning improvement, adaptation, and accessibility. The results of this study are as follows: First, accessibility is the highest efficacy among college students' real-time online lectures participation and interaction is the lowest. Second, the efficacy of real-time online lecture participation of university students differed according to gender, grade, major, and access devices. This study is meaningful in that it confirmed the applicability of real-time online teaching method due to corona virus and confirmed the applicability of real-time online teaching as a method to prepare for the arrival of full-scale distance education in the post-Corona era. Lastly, it was suggested that the online class management method and support for each college major reflect the changes of the times.

본 연구의 목적은 학생의 주도적 학습을 돕는 하브루타 학습방법을 대학의 비대면 실시간 온라인 수업에서 활용할 수 있는 하브루타 학습모델 개발과 그 적용 가능성을 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 온라인 학습환경에서 하브루타 학습법 적용사례에 대한 선행연구 고찰과 관련 이론들을 분석하고 하브루타 수업운영 경험자 2인의 인터뷰를 통해 비대면 실시간 온라인 수업 상황에서 적용 가능한 학습 모델안을 고안할 것이다. 이를 하브루타 수업 운영 경험이 풍부한 6인의 전문가를 대상으로 수업 모델안의 적절성과 적용가능성에 대한 평가를 실시하여 비대면 실시간 온라인 수업을 위한 하브루타 학습모델을 개발하고자 한다. 이 연구를 통해 비대면으로 수업을 해야 하는 상황에서도 학습자의 주도적 학습을 가능하게 함으로써 학습효과를 높여 미래 사회에 필요한 역량을 개발하는 데 기여할 수 있을 것이라고 기대한다.

2020학년도 1학기는 외부 환경 요인으로 인해 대학교육시스템에 큰 변화가 발생한 시기라고 할 수 있다. 컴퓨터공학 분야의 대표적인 실습기반 교과목인 프로그래밍 수업에서 학습자들에게 온라인 수업이지만 대면 수업의 실재감을 제공하는 방법을 모색할 필요성이 대두되었다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 유형의 수업 방식을 온라인 수업에 활용하여 대면 수업 수준의 실재감을 학습자에게 제공하고 학습효과를 높이고자 하였다. 강의 동영상 수업과 상호작용을 포함한 실시간 수업을 혼합하여 수업한 후 설문 조사를 통해 실시간 수업을 선호하는 학습자들이 수업목표인 프로그램 개발 능력을 타 학습자들보다 잘 습득하여 수업 만족도가 높았고, 이를 통해 온라인 수업에서 실시간 수업이 능동적인 학습자들에게는 대면 수업과 동등한 수준의 학습 효과가 있었음을 조사·분석하였다.

This study aimed to understand and analyze the learners' class satisfaction and the effectiveness of synchronous online classes after COVID-19. A total of 188 learners participated in the survey conducted at the end of the Fall Semester 2020 at C University located Gyeongsangnam-do. Findings revealed that learners' satisfaction with the synchronous online classes was relatively low, and the learners had negative perception of that. Learning content have the biggest effect on the learners' class satisfaction. Next came class management and the online learning platform. Therefore, instructors need to organize learning content effectively and enhance learners' understanding considering the most influential variable, learning content so that learners are satisfied with the synchronous online classes. Also, instructors should make it possible for learners to get familiar with the online learning platform and use it without any problems through systematic and faithful class design for effective learning in unfamiliar online learning environment. In addition, instructors need to know learners' needs and difficulties and plan their synchronous online classes. This study has limitations in that it was conducted only at one college and the limited number of variables was measured.

In this study, the satisfaction level of the class between 'Content utilization and task performance class' and 'real-time interactive class' was compared and analyzed among the types of online classes conducted in elementary schools. The researchers conducted a study to compare and analyze the satisfaction level of classes in 'Content utilization and task performance class' and 'Real-time interactive class', and the research group selected 98 elementary school students in Hwaseong. As a result of the analysis, the satisfaction level of classes for "real-time interactive classes" was high. The satisfaction level of students' characteristics was analyzed, students who were not good at performing their task and those who were not good at concentrating on their classes were more satisfied with 'content utilization and task performance classes.'

The purpose of this study is to explore the current status and effects of online discussion classes in universities. To this end, a survey was conducted on university students attending a total of four universities in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province to diagnose their perceptions of the operation of online discussion classes and their effects. The collected data were analyzed using frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, cross-analysis, F-test, T-test, and Scheffe test by applying SPSS program. As a result of the study, first, it was found that 'non-real-time recorded lessons' and 'real-time interactive video lessons' were mainly conducted at universities after the COVID19 crisis. Second, in the online class method, 'real-time interactive video class' had a positive effect on 'debate class preference' and was found to be more meaningful. Third, college students recognized participation in online discussion classes as a foundation for expanding creative thinking skills, suggesting that strengthening through smooth communication and exchanges based on learners' sufficient cognitive processes on discussion methods and procedures is more helpful.

실시간 온라인 형태의 프로그래밍 수업을 진행할 경우 교수자가 대면수업에서와 같이 학습자들의 학습 상태를 일일이 파악하고 개별 지도를 하는 데에는 한계가 있다. 특히 소극적인 성향의 학습자들이나 수업에 관심이 없는 학습자들의 경우 다른 곳에 주의를 빼앗기기 쉬운 것이 현실이다. 본 연구에서는 실시간 온라인 프로그래밍 수업에서 학습자들 스스로가 예습과 복습을 통해 학습에 적극적으로 참여할 수 있도록 하기 위한 방안으로 플립러닝을 적용하였다. 학기말에는 대상 학습자들에게 플립러닝 형태의 수업 운영을 통해 얻은 학습 이해도가 어느 정도인지를 설문하고 그 결과를 분석해보았다.

최근 펜데믹으로 인하여 대부분의 교육 시스템은 비대면 수업을 통해 수업이 이루어지고 있다. 하지만 비대면 강좌는 대면 강좌와는 다르게 강의자가 수강자의 수업 상태를 파악하는데 제한이 있으며 강좌 수강 태도에 대하여 수강자를 평가하기가 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 비대면 강좌에서 사용할 수 있는 방법 중에서 실시간 화상 강의 수강자의 참여도 추정 시스템을 제안한다. 이 시스템은 기존의 화상 시스템에서 사용하는 장비를 이용하여 수강자의 얼굴, 동공 및 사용자 활동을 실시간으로 측정하여 이를 강의자에게 여러 카테고리 형태로 수업 참여도 측정값을 제공한다. 이를 통해 강의자가 수업 시 수강자들의 수업 참여 여부와 수업 평가 및 향후 수업 개선점을 확인할 수 있도록 한다.

비실시간 온라인 수업은 학습자가 원하는 시간에 학습을 할 수 있고, 공간의 제약이 없다는 장점이 있다. 그러나 실시간으로 이루어지는 수업이 아니다 보니 수업 콘텐츠에 문제가 있거나, 설명이 부족한 부분에 대한 학습자들의 의견이 교수자에게 전달하는 것에 한계점이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 수업 콘텐츠를 듣는 학습자들의 피드백 정보를 교수자에게 전달하는 시스템을 제안한다. 학습자에게는 온라인 녹화 수업 콘텐츠를 정지했을 시 정지 사유를 조사하고, 정지 사유와 정지한 콘텐츠의 시간 정보를 교수자에게 전달할 수 있고, 교수자에게는 학습자들의 온라인 녹화 수업 영상의 피드백 정보와 정지시간을 교수자에게 그래프로 나타내어 한눈에 수업 콘텐츠의 문제점이 많은 부분을 파악할 수 있게 해서 전달한다. 교수자는 피드백을 반영해 콘텐츠를 재업로드하여 질 높은 수업 콘텐츠로 인해 학습자들은 학업 성취도를 높일 수 있을 것이다.
