Research in detecting fake information gained a lot of interest after the US presidential election in 2016. Information from unknown sources are produced in the shape of news, and its rapid spread is fueled by the interest of public drawn to stimulating and interesting issues. In addition, the wide use of mass communication platforms such as social network services makes this phenomenon worse. Poynter Institute created the International Fact Checking Network (IFCN) to provide guidelines for judging the facts of skilled professionals and releasing "Code of Ethics" for fact check agencies. However, this type of approach is costly because of the large number of experts required to test authenticity of each article. Therefore, research in automated fake news detection technology that can efficiently identify it is gaining more attention. In this paper, we investigate fake news detection systems and researches that are rapidly developing, mainly thanks to recent advances in deep learning technology. In addition, we also organize shared tasks and training corpus that are released in various forms, so that researchers can easily participate in this field, which deserves a lot of research effort.
The Android author identification study can be interpreted as a method for revealing the source in a narrow range, but if viewed in a wide range, it can be interpreted as a study to gain insight to identify similar works through known works. The problem found in the Android author identification study is that it is an important code on the Android system, but it is difficult to find the important feature of the author due to the meaningless codes. Due to this, legitimate codes or behaviors were also incorrectly defined as malicious codes. To solve this, we introduced the concept of survival network to solve the problem by removing the features found in various Android apps and surviving unique features defined by authors. We conducted an experiment comparing the proposed framework with a previous study. From the results of experiments on 440 authors' identified apps, we obtained a classification accuracy of up to 92.10%, and showed a difference of up to 3.47% from the previous study. It used a small amount of learning data, but because it used unique features without duplicate features for each author, it was considered that there was a difference from previous studies. In addition, even in comparative experiments with previous studies according to the feature definition method, the same accuracy can be shown with a small number of features, and this can be seen that continuously overlapping meaningless features can be managed through the concept of a survival network.
The aim of this study was to subdivide and present the units and the standards of knowledge integration in creating the students' integrated knowledge from content knowledge in college writing classes. For these, it analyzed three typical writing textbooks being used in colleges and examined the ways of presentation on forming integrated knowledge by text qualitative analysis methods. The analysis procedure and the presentation followed Creswell's spiral analysis model It is a method model which repeats the procedure from material collection and analysis to presentation circularly. This examination illustrates three dimensions of the units in forming content knowledge. Also, it suggested those should be all treated for the more systematic education: the units of the whole text, the paragraphs, and the sentences. In the next chapter, the standards and contents of knowledge integration were suggested in each process. For the process of knowledge selection, the suitability and the contradictoriness between the text materials and author's thesis were proposed as the standards and contents. For the process of organization and integration, the corresponsive integration, contradictive integration, background integration, synthetic integration were suggested. Finally the procedure knowledge such as correct expression and spelling, source indication were shown for the process of expression and citation. Furthermore, it showed, in terms of expression, the process of paraphrasing frequently practiced in writing textbooks needs to be exercised in the three dimensions including summarization, connection, and interpretation(or transformation). This result, however, calls for the further study about the subdividing processes to enhance the adequateness to writing textbooks in the level of universities and for a more refined syllabus on the systematic knowledge integration. Accordingly, it suggested the tasks mentioned above for further study.

The purpose of this article is to study the negative factors reflected in the will and the factors of well aging as an alternative. The survey data was 36 wills published in the media such as newspapers and broadcasting between 2008 and 2020. As a result, various aspects of negative factors were found in youth wills between the ages of 13 and 34. In middle-aged wills between the ages of 35 and 49, female was not found. The negative factors in the socio-economic aspects were remarkable in the wills of adulthood between the ages of 50 and 64. All the writers of wills over the age of 65 were women, and their writings were strongly linked to the spiritual side. In view of these results, the will explored in this study can paradoxically become a proposal for a complete life. The will is a record with the potential of well aging. Sources of the suicide note included daily newspaper, broadcasting and local media. This study analyse the age and gender and the negative factors reflected in the will, by using the physical aspect, the mental aspect, and the socio-economic aspect as the methodology. In addition, the frequency of words and expressions exposed in the will were analyzed and keywords were created in word cloud.
While discussions on ESG are actively taking place in Europe and other countries, the number of countries pushing for mandatory ESG information disclosure related to non-financial information of listed companies is rapidly increasing. However, as companies respond to mandatory global ESG information disclosure, problems are emerging such as the stringent requirements of global ESG disclosure standards, the complexity of data management, and a lack of understanding and preparation of the ESG system itself. In addition, it requires a reasonable analysis of how business management opportunities and risk factors due to climate change affect the company's financial impact, so it is expected to be quite difficult to analyze the results that meet the disclosure standards. In order to perform tasks such as ESG management activities and information disclosure, data of various types and sources is required and management through an information system is necessary to measure this transparently, collect it without error, and manage it without omission. Therefore, in this study, we designed an ESG data integrated management model to integrate and manage various related indicators and data in order to transparently and efficiently convey the company's ESG activities to various stakeholders through ESG information disclosure. A framework for implementing an information system to handle management was developed. These research results can help companies facing difficulties in ESG disclosure at a practical level to efficiently manage ESG information disclosure. In addition, the presentation of an integrated data management model through analysis of the ESG disclosure work process and the development of an information system to support ESG information disclosure were significant in the academic aspects needed to study ESG in the future.

In this study, four natural Mn oxides ($NMO_1-NMO_4$) was characterized using x-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and their removal efficiency for 1-naphthol (1-NP) in aqueous phase, using batch reactor, was investigated. The results were compared with one another and a synthetic manganese oxide, birnessite. The NMOs have a various Mn minerals including pyrolusite (${\beta}-MnO_2$), cryptomeltane (${\alpha}-MnO_2$) as well as birnessite (${\delta}-MnO_2$) depending on their sources, which results in different removal efficiencies (removals, kinetics) and reaction types (sorption or oxidative-transformation). The comparative study showed that $NMO_1$ (electrolytic Mn oxide) have a higher removal efficiency for 1-NP via oxidative-transformation compared to birnessite. The 1-NP removals by NMOs were followed by pseudo-first order reaction, and the surface area-normalized specific rate constants ($K_{surf},\;L/m^2$ min) determined were in order of $NMO_1(3.31{\times}10^{-3})$>${\delta}-MnO_2(1.48{\times}10^{-3}){\fallingdotseq}NMO_3(1.46{\times}10^{-3})$>$NMO_2(0.83{\times}10^{-3})$>$NMO_4(0.67{\times}10^{-3})$. From the solvent extraction experiments with the Mn oxide precipitates after reaction, it was observed that the oxidative-transformation rates of 1-NP were in order of $NMO_1{\fallingdotseq}{\delta}-MnO_2$>$NMO_3$>$NMO_4{\gg}NMO_2$ and the analysis of HPLC chromatogram and UV-Vis. absorption ratios ($A_{2/4}$, $A_{2/6}$) on the supernatant confirmed that the reaction products were oligomers formed by oxidative-coupling reaction. Results from this study proved that natural Mn oxide (except $NMO_2$) used in this experiment can be effectively applied for the removal of naphthols in aqueous phase, and the removal efficiencies are depending on the surface characters of the Mn oxides.
The utilization of generative AI in the medical field is also being rapidly researched. Access to vast data sets reduces the time and energy spent in selecting information. However, as the effort put into content creation decreases, there is a greater likelihood of associated issues arising. For example, with generative AI, users must discern the accuracy of results themselves, as these AIs learn from data within a set period and generate outcomes. While the answers may appear plausible, their sources are often unclear, making it challenging to determine their veracity. Additionally, the possibility of presenting results from a biased or distorted perspective cannot be discounted at present on ethical grounds. Despite these concerns, the field of generative AI is continually advancing, with an increasing number of users leveraging it in various sectors, including biomedical and life sciences. This raises important legal considerations regarding who bears responsibility and to what extent for any damages caused by these high-performance AI algorithms. A general overview of issues with generative AI includes those discussed above, but another perspective arises from its fundamental nature as a large-scale language model ('LLM') AI. There is a civil law concern regarding "the memorization of training data within artificial neural networks and its subsequent reproduction". Medical data, by nature, often reflects personal characteristics of patients, potentially leading to issues such as the regeneration of personal information. The extensive application of generative AI in scenarios beyond traditional AI brings forth the possibility of legal challenges that cannot be ignored. Upon examining the technical characteristics of generative AI and focusing on legal issues, especially concerning the protection of personal information, it's evident that current laws regarding personal information protection, particularly in the context of health and medical data utilization, are inadequate. These laws provide processes for anonymizing and de-identification, specific personal information but fall short when generative AI is applied as software in medical devices. To address the functionalities of generative AI in clinical software, a reevaluation and adjustment of existing laws for the protection of personal information are imperative.
The principal aims of this study were to identify the composition of salivary pellicles formed on various orthodontic brackets and to obtain a detailed information about the protein adsorption profiles from whole saliva and two major glandular salivas. Four different types of orthodontic brackets were used. All were upper bicuspid brackets with a $022{\times}028$ slot Roth prescription; stainless steel metal, monocrystalline sapphire, polycrystalline alumina, and plastic brackets. Bracket pelicles were formed by the incubation of orthodontic brackets with whole saliva, submandibular-sublingual saliva, and parotid saliva for 2 hours. The bracket pellicles were extracted and confirmed by employing sodium dodecyl sulfatepolyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, Western transfer methods, and immunodetection. The results showed that low-molecular weight salivary mucin, ${\alpha}-amylase$, secretory IgA (sIgA), acidic proline-rich proteins, and cystatins were attached to all of these brackets regardless of the bracket types. High-molecular weight mucin, which promotes the adhesion of Streptococcus mutans, did not adhere to uy orthodontic brackets. Though the same components were detected in all bracket pellicles, however, the gel profiles showed qualitatively and quantitatively different pellicles, according to the origins of saliva and the bracket types. In particular, the binding of sIgA was more prominent in the pellicles from parotid saliva and the binding of cystatins was prominent in the pellicles from the form plastic brackets. This study indicates that numerous salivary proteins adhere to the orthodontic brackets and these salivary proteins adhere selectively according to bracket types and the types of the saliva.

The idea that parental involvement has a positive influence on gifted children is so intuitively appearing that society in general. and educators in particular, have considered parental involvement as the remedy for many problems in education. However the vast proportion of the literatures in this area give results qualitatively. Among the empirical studies that have investigated this issue quantitatively, there appear to be considerable inconsistencies. A meta-analysis was conducted to synthesize the quantitative literatures about the relationship between parental involvement and gifted development. The findings reveal a moderate relationship between parental involvement and gifted development. We focused on the effect between parental involvement and gifted development, and conducted meta-analysis involving correlation coefficients between the two constructs. Using correlation coefficients, We can get the effect size, and explain the influence. We initially identified 539 articles over twelve-year period. Based on abstracts of these 539 articles, 463 studies were used for analyzing the current stream of the study. Finally, 15 studies met our inclusion criteria, and were subsequently used in this meta-analysis. From the 15 studies, 37 variables influenced on gifted development were collected. Using meta-analysis, it is revealed that internal effects for gifted development have stronger relationship than parents' socioeconomic status. In addition, the differences between female and male student have been reducing.

This study aimed to investigate the current utilization and implications of digital learning support media in the field of French studies, and to explore future research directions. To achieve this, we conducted a comprehensive review of the use of digital media in various learning processes within French studies. Additionally, we examined the direct application of ChatGPT, an emerging technology, to learning by extending its use to foreign language and education fields. Our findings indicate that the application of digital learning support media in French studies is somewhat limited, with selective use in processes such as online class support media, pre-class learning, efficient learning and interaction, and self-directed learning. In the case of ChatGPT, our research found that no studies have been conducted within French studies, and very few studies have been conducted on its practical application in other educational fields. While ChatGPT has a wide range of applications and has shown positive effects on learners, ethical concerns have been raised regarding the quality, source, and reliability of information. Therefore, future research in French studies should focus on educational application and effectiveness verification in university teaching and learning situations, as well as interdisciplinary convergence with digital learning support media.
