A Study on the Relationship among Corporate entrepreneurship, R&D capacity and Technology commercialization capacity of administrative position - Moderating effect of Technology orientation - (관리직의 사내기업가정신과 연구개발역량, 기술사업화역량의 관계에 관한 연구 - 기술지향성의 조절효과 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the capacities of innovation in the organization, and to examine the effects of corporate entrepreneurship, R&D capability, technology commercialization capacity and technology orientation. First, the research model and hypothesis were established based on the literature research and 153 questionnaires were distributed and collected among management office workers among manufacturing workers in Kyungbuk. The results of this study confirm that the corporate entrepreneurship positively affects R&D capacity and that R&D capacity has a positive effect on technology commercialization capacity. And we confirmed the significant moderating effect of technology orientation. However, there is no mediating effect of R&D capability on the relationship between corporate entrepreneurship and technology commercialization. These findings can provide guidelines for organizational management in the cultural aspect by identifying the effects of in-house entrepreneurship and technology orientation on cultivating the innovation capacity of management office at the organizational level.

Core Competence Evaluation Model of Play Worker Based on Delphi Technique (델파이 조사를 통한 놀이 전문가 핵심역량 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an evaluation model to measure the core competences of actual play workers by exploring what competences are necessary for them to provide quality play. Based on literature review, we selected five core competences : knowledge of play, program development, understanding play culture, creativity, and information sharing & applying. In order to achieve the research purpose end, a two-round Delphi survey was conducted on 10 play and education experts. The findings drew scholarly consensus on the competences of play workers to have and proposed basic data by developing competences evaluation model to measure them. Each of the key competences has three sub-conpetences, each of which included two behavior elements. Furthermore, this study presented future research directions so that play can be voluntarily planned and supported in a social and cultural context.

An Empirical Study on the Effect of Organic Structure and Learning Culture on Dynamic Competence and Corporate Performance (기업조직의 유기성과 학습문화가 동적역량과 기업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증연구)

  • This study analyze whether the organizational learning culture affects the firm's dynamic capacity and whether the dynamic capacity mediates the relationship between organizational learning culture and management performance. Respectively. First, "The more organizational structure is organic, the higher the integrated relocation capacity and learning capacity. Organizations with organic organizational structures were found to have the ability to successfully adapt to external changes because there is a practice that is not tied to formal processing or procedures. Second, it can be seen that there is a positive (+) influence on the relocation capacity among the dynamic competence of the learning culture of the corporate organization. Third, both sub-factors of dynamic competence have positive (+) influence on business performance. Also, there was no mediating effect of dynamic competence related to learning culture.

Suggesting a Model of Science Competency and Applying it to Science Curriculum (과학 역량 모델의 제안과 과학 교육과정에의 적용)

  • Although the 2015 revised science curriculum has newly introduced core science competencies, there are a lot of confusions and difficulties at the school sites because the concept of competence is not clear. In this study, we conducted literature analysis to understand what constitutes the components of science competence and how the components are related. Based on this analysis, a model of science competency, composed of six factors (non-cognitive characteristics, knowledge, skill, context, performance, level) was suggested. In addition, we have explored ways to utilize this science competency model to re-write the achievement criteria of current science curriculum as science learning objectives expressed in the form of science competency. Finally, advantages and limits of the model are discussed and related further researches are suggested.

Effect of Exploration and Exploitation Activities on Technology Innovation Capacity and Innovation Performance : Mediating Effect According to Absorption Capacity and Innovation Strength (탐험과 활용활동이 기술혁신역량과 혁신성과에 미치는 영향 : 흡수역량과 혁신강도에 따른 매개효과)

  • Due to the rapid development of technology compared to the past, it is becoming difficult for companies to survive in a fiercely competitive environment if they do not innovate. In order for a company to carry out innovative activities, it is very important to find new knowledge, digest it, and secure its own technological capabilities. In this study, the causal relationship between exploration and exploitation activities, technology innovation capacity, innovation performance(technical performance, product performance), absorptive capacity, and innovation performance was identified. As a result of the analysis, exploration and exploitation activities were found to affect technology innovation capacity, and technology innovation capacity, absorptive capacity, and innovation strength were found to affect innovation performance. In addition, it was found that absorptive capacity and innovation strength play a mediating role between technology innovation capacity and innovation performance. The results of this study are expected to be useful as guidelines when planning or carrying out innovation activities in companies.

The Impacts of R&D Capabilities of Small Companies on Organizational Competences and R&D Commercializing Performances (소기업의 R&D역량이 조직역량 및 R&D사업화에 미치는 영향)

  • Since R&D (Research and Development) of small companies is becoming more and more important, and government R&D grants are still increasing. This study aims to investigate the factors influencing R&D performance of small companies and necessary capabilities of them. Based on empirical study of 3,636 small companies which participated and completed government R&D grant project, technology innovation capability and technology commercializing capability of small companies are positively related with organizational competences, with moderating effects of entrepreneurship. In addition, their R&D capabilities are not significantly related with R&D commercializing performance directly, but mediated with organizational competences. The results of study suggest implications of measuring the R&D performance of small companies and government support policy with the importance of organizational competences as an intermediate variable of R&D performances.

The Influences of SMEs' Market Orientation and Brand Orientation on Firm Capabilities and Performance in Export Markets (수출중소기업의 시장지향성과 브랜드지향성이 기업역량 및 수출성과에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined the casual relationships among SMEs' market orientation, brand orientation, firm capabilities-technology and marketing capabilities, competitive advantage and financial performance in export markets based on the resource-based view. The data were collected from 286 cases of exporting SMEs. The results of path analysis indicated that market orientation of exporting SMEs increased technology and marketing capabilities. Market orientation directly increased both competitive advantage and financial performance in export markets. Brand orientation influenced technological capability and had indirect effects on both competitive advantage and financial performance through the firm capabilities. Based on the results, managerial implications and future research directions for exporting SMEs were provided.

  • 벤처기업 CEO의 본질적 역량과 역할은 조직의 자원을 얼마나 효율적으로 운영하는가에 따라 관리자로서 조직성과에 큰 영향을 미친다. 이러한 중요성에도 불구하고 CEO 역량 수준이 조직이 내재하는 자원에 미치는 영향에 대한 이론적 고찰과 CEO의 역량 수준과 조직성과 간의 관계가 조직 구성원의 역량에 따라서 어떻게 달라지는가에 관한 실증연구는 매우 부족한 실정이다. 기존 선행연구의 한계점을 보완하기 위해 본 연구에서는 자원기반이론(resource-based view of the firm)을 바탕으로 프로스포츠 산업에서의 조직 구성원의 역량에 따른 관리자의 감독역할에 대해 실증적으로 분석하였다. 구체적으로, 본 연구에서는 기존의 스포츠 기업가정신(sport entrepreneurship) 연구 분야의 이론을 경영전략의 자원기반관점과 융합하여 벤처기업 CEO와 프로스포츠 감독의 역할이 조직구조와 성과 메커니즘의 측면에서 매우 흡사하며 조직의 자원을 효율적으로 운영하고 성과를 도출하는 측면에서 모두 기업가(entrepreneur)적 특성을 반드시 내재해야 한다고 본다. 이러한 맥락에서 프로스포츠팀에서의 관리자로서의 감독 역량과 조직성과 간의 관계에서 조직의 자원 효율성의 매개효과와 조직 구성원 역량에 대한 조절효과를 설명하고자 한다. 미국프로농구(NBA) 30개 구단과 한국프로농구(KBL) 10개 구단의 9개 시즌(2013~2014시즌 - 2021~2022시즌)의 감독과 팀 데이터를 실증분석에 있어 프로세스 매크로 58 모형을 적용하여 본 연구의 가설을 검증하였다. 실증분석 결과, 미국프로농구과 한국프로농구 데이터 모두에서 (1) 프로농구팀의 자원 효율성은 감독의 역량과 승률 간의 정(+)의 관계를 매개하고, (2) 조직 구성원의 역량은 농구팀의 자원 효율성을 통한 감독 역량이 승률에 미치는 간접효과를 조절(p<.05) 하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 비교적 객관적으로 조직의 성과측정이 가능한 프로스포츠 데이터를 활용하여 프로스포츠 산업에서 벤처기업의 CEO와 유사한 기업가적 역할을 수반해야 하는 감독 및 조직 구성원의 역량이 조직의 성과에 미치는 영향을 실증분석하는 한편 스포츠 애널리틱스(sport analytics) 분야와 경영학 연구를 융합하였다는 의의가 있다.

An Exploratory Study on the Career Competencies among the Middle-aged Employment Vulnerable Groups (중장년 고용취약계층의 경력역량 탐색 연구)

  • This study was conducted to explore the career competencies among the middle-aged employment vulnerable groups and to provide the basis for systematic career development and human resource development for the middle-aged and employment vulnerable groups. Interviews and expert advice for the middle-aged (40-64 years old) employment vulnerable groups were conducted. The main research results as follows. First, middle-aged employment vulnerable groups have different career requirements depending on their characteristics. Second, the career competencies of the middle-aged employment vulnerable group were composed five factors and 21 sub-detailed competencies including career cognitive competencies, career skill competencies, career attitude competencies, career transition competencies, and career resource management competencies. Third, as a result of the priority analysis of Borich and Locus for Focus, career goal setting, career implementation competency, employment and start-up information, job search skills were the top priorities, career identity, digital literacy, job market knowledge, and infrastructure utilization were the second priority.

The effect of university students' participation in the entrepreneurship planning course on the enhancement of core competencies of entrepreneurship: Focusing on the case of S women's university (대학생의 창업계획 교육과정 참여가 창업가정신 핵심역량 증진에 미치는 효과: S여대 사례를 중심으로)

  • This study analyzed the effect of the entrepreneurship planning course provided by an women's university in Seoul on the enhancement of the core competencies of entrepreneurship of university students. To this end, pre- and post-test of core entrepreneurship competency were conducted on 63 female university students (32 in experimental group, 31 in control group) and then the results were analyzed. The course in which the experimental group participated was a team-based project learning course and it required a team of three people to draw an entrepreneurship plan containing social problem solving as the final result. The course was operated for a total of 8 weeks. To measure the level of entrepreneurship core competency in the pre- and post- test, the survey tool that was developed by the Ministry of Education and Korea Entrepreneurship Foundation (2020) was used. This tool composed by 'value creation', 'challenge', 'self-directed', and 'group creativity' competencies. As analyses methods, i) covariance analysis was performed using the pretest as a covariate, and then a two-way ANOVA was performed with treatment (experimental group, control group) and time point (pre test, post test) as two independent variables. Results show while there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the value creation competency, it significantly contributed to the enhancement of challenge, self-directed, and collective creativity competencies. Based on these results, implications and limitations were discussed, followed by future research direction.
