Two experiments were conducted to explore the effects of anaphora and demonstrative ellipsis on reference resolution. This study assumed that two type of ellipsis could be sensitive to antecedents' saliency: the reverse typicality and mention order of antecedents. The muti-task approach measured the antecedent's activation level and processing load for the conflict resolution of theories of anaphoric resolution. In Experiment 1, using ellipsis for anaphora, participants read a series of sentence pairs by self-paced and performed a probe recognition test. The results showed the main effects of antecedent's typicality and mention order in both tasks. In Experiment 2, using noun phrase without demonstrative for anaphora, participants read a series of sentence pairs by self-paced and performed a probe recognition test. The results showed main effects of mention order of antecedents for probe recognition task only. The first antecedent was recognized faster than the second one. The results of two experiments suggested that anaphora type and antecedent's saliency were dynamically interact in reference resolution for Korean.

대화형 추천 시스템은 대화를 통해 사용자의 현재 선호도를 파악하고 상품을 추천해주는 시스템이다. 대화의 맥락은 변화하기 때문에 대화 중 최근 언급된 엔티티가 사용자의 현재 선호와 더 관련이 있다. 그러나, 기존 방법들은 언급된 엔티티들의 순서를 고려하지 않았기 때문에 사용자의 현재 선호도를 표현하는데 한계가 존재한다. 본 논문에서는, 대화 내 언급된 엔티티들의 순서를 고려하는 아키텍처를 제안하고, 실세계 데이터를 활용해 다음 상품을 예측하는데 엔티티 순서를 고려하는 것이 효과적인지 실험을 통해 보여준다.

본 연구는 지금까지 학계에서 꾸준히 연구되고 있는 시장진입 순서의 효과에 관한 광범위한 문헌고찰을 통해 이제까지의 연구들을 유기적·인과적으로 연결시킬 수 있는 통합적인 틀을 제시하고, 기존 연구의 한계점을 바탕으로 진입순서 연구에 관한 새로운 접근을 시도하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 기존 연구를 크게 선발이점 발생에 관한 연구, 후발이점 발생에 관한 연구, 진입순서 효과에 영향을 미치는 조절변수에 관한 연구, 진입순서 의사결정에 영향을 미치는 선행변수에 관한 연구로 구분하고 각 부분별 문제점과 향후 연구방향을 도출하였다. 먼저, 기존 연구에서 선·후발 진입에 대한 정의와 기업이 속해있는 시장에 대한 정의가 불분명하게 이루어짐에 따라 그 효과가 매우 다르게 나타나고 있음을 지적하고, 동시에 효과가 나타나게 되는 메커니즘도 사후적인 해석 관점에서 이루어지고 있음을 지적하였다. 이 외에도 진입순서 효과에 영향을 미치는 조절변수에 관한 연구가 생산자 관점에서 주로 다루어져 실제로 제품을 소비하는 수요자의 특성을 감안한 연구가 필요함을 제시하였으며, 진입순서 의사결정에 영향을 미치는 선행변수로 자원기반 관점 요인과 시장·경쟁 요인뿐만 아니라 조직의 특성에 대한 연구가 고려되어야 함을 지적하였다. 마지막으로 진입순서 외에도 후발기업의 진입시차에 관한 추가적인 연구의 필요성을 언급하였다.

This study was conducted to investigate how syntaction and pragmatic constraints influence the sentential representation and memory accessibility. In order to seperate the syntactic constraints from the pragmatic constraint from the pragmatic constraints,the syntactic role of constituent in the sentence (subject or object) and the order of mention(first or second) were manipulted.After each sentence was presented by RSVP procedure,the probe recognition time was measured to investigate memory accessibility.In Experiment 1,in which SOA interval was 255ms,it was found that the subject of a sentece were more accessible than the object and participants first in a sentence were more accessible than participants mentioned later.However, in Experiment 2,in which SOA interval was 1540ms,it was found that participants mentioned first in a sentence were more accessible than participants mentioned later while there was no significant difference between the subject and object of a sentece.These results suggest that the syntactic and pragmatic constraints have an independent effect on the initial senential representation at the early stage of constructing representation,but as time passes only the pragmatic constraints influence sentential representation.These results also support a theoretical position which assumes that sentential representation is constructed through the process of convergent statisfaction of multiple constraints.

Significant research has been conducted in the financial sector on the behavior of investors in the stock market. In this paper, we directly measure the degree of interest using the ranking of the frequency mentioned in the stock message board operated by Daum Communications Corp. and test the fact that the higher ranking of the frequency results in the higher stock returns in order to investigate the attention effect on the stock returns in the Korean stock market. We also propose and apply the likelihood ratio test procedure for order restricted hypotheses in order to test the attention effect. The test results shows that the higher rank in the frequency mentioned in the message board is related to stock returns (p-value < $10^{-6}$). Therefore, we conclude that an investors' attention effects exist in the Korean stock market.

생산 자동화에 필요한 기술을 언급하기에 앞서 우선 자동화에 필요한 기술에 대해 언급하는 것이 순서일 것 같다. 자동화에 필요한 기술을 크게 나눈다면 다음의 세 가지로 요약할 수 있다고 생 각한다. (1) 자동화에 필요한 기본 기술 (2) 이런 기본 기술들에 바탕을 두어 전체 시스템을 구성하는데 필요한 기술 (3) 기본 기술과 전체 시스템 구성 기술을 연결시켜 주는 인터페이싱 기술(정보 처리 기술 포함) 기본 고유 기술은 나름대로 여러 가지로 나눌 수 있겠지만 다음과 같이 여섯 가지로 크게 나 누고 싶다. 첫째는 설계 기술이다. 둘째는 제어 기술이다. 셋째는 가공 기술인데, 특히 정밀 가공 기술은 앞으로 우리가 해결해야 할 난제인 것 같다. 넷째는 운반 및 자동 적재 기술인데, 여기에는 로봇 응용 기술, 컨베이어 기술, 무인 발송차 적용 기술 등이 주된 내용인 것 같다. 다섯째는 조립 기술인데, 이 부분에 대해서는 자동화를 하기 전에 충분한 연구가 필요한 것 같다. 마지막으로 계측 기술인데 최근에 많이 대두되는 문제가 센서 응용 문제이다. 센서는 종류가 다 양하기 때문에 잘 적용하면 적은 비용으로 큰 효과를 보기가 쉽다. 국내에서는 의외로 이 분야에 대한 연구가 자동화에 대한 연구보다 미진한 감이 있다. 특히 형상 센서쪽은 그 적용 범위가 광범위하고 어려운 일을 쉽게 해결해 나갈 수 있다는 이점이 있어서 앞으로 많은 성장이 예상 되지만 적용 기술이 까다로워서 많은 연구가 되어야 한다고 본다.

최근의 에이전트 시스템 연구는 간단한 작업을 처리하는 단일 에이전트들이 모여 하나의 서비스를 제공하는 멀티 에이전트 시스템 분야에서 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 멀티 에이전트 시스템에서는 요구된 서비스를 구성원들이 효율적으로 협동하여 제공하기 위해 이들을 통합하고 실행순서 등을 조정하는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 계획, 그룹, 작업의 세가지 단계로 구분되는 규칙과 ECA 규칙을 사용하여 계층적 작업흐름을 정의하고 이를 통하여 에이전트들을 조정하는 방법을 제안한다. 계층적 작업흐름의 사용으로 기존의 방법과 달리 에이전트를 계층화하여 새로운 서비스를 구성할 경우 세부적인 수행사항에 대한 언급없이 상위 단계의 계획 규칙만을 지정하여 구성할 수 있는 장점이 있다.

본 번역문은 일본 방위청 기술연구본부 기술개발관 및 연구소장을 역임하고 현재 일본 동해대학교수로 재직중인 Takashi Kunimoto(국본 ) 박사가 항공기와 유도무리분야를 중심으로 한 연구개발에 관하여 고찰한 것을 옮긴 것이다. 본 내용은 연구개발의 의의와 중요성, 연구개발에 있어서의 중요사항, 연구개발의 대상항목 및 실시요령, 개발에 있어서 고려해야 할 사항의 순서로 언급되어 있는 데 무기체계의 연구개발에 대한 전바적인 개념을 정립하는데 도움이 될 것으로 생각하여 옮겼다.

This study used content analysis to examine the research methods in Library and Information Science journals from 1997 to 2001. Analyses measured research subjects, research method, data collection methods, data analysis methods, hypotheses, theories and research funds. Brief consideration is given to possible future methodological trends : web-based research methods, qualitative research, cooperation between academic society and librarians and research fundraising.
