Evaluation of User Experience in AR-based shopping Applications -Focused on Ikea Place and Amazon AR View- (AR 기반의 쇼핑 애플리케이션에서의 사용자 경험 평가 -IKEA Place와 Amazon AR View를 중심으로-)

  • This study focused on IKEA Place in IKEA and Amazon AR View in Amazon to study the differences between AR shopping applications. The first literature study examined the status and prospects of the AR market and conducted a case study on AR shopping applications. In the second phase, 'Honeycomb Model' of Peter mobile was reorganized into six usability principles, focusing on the major functions of AR shopping mall application, to conduct surveys and in-depth interviews based on the task. Based on this study, it is expected to help increase AR-based application user experience, concentrating on the actual experience of the user and finding out the major experience factors.

  • The object of this study is to offer domestic and overseas travel informations efficiently for domestic tourists growing far beyond 15 million even now through user centered interface more convenient and accurate. In a method of research, 100 people were surveyed after recasting of evaluation questionnaire about UI design using 5-point Likert and nominal scale and additionally, the in-depth interviews were given to 10 people who use travel application frequently. In consequence, this interview revealed where users feel convenience and difficulty and want improvement of usability, information accuracy, etc. Finally, this study has a meaning to suggest new UI prototypes and various guideline about additional UI design on the basis of surveyed parts.

  • The purpose of this study is to research the design solutions that should be taken into consideration when developing mobile applications of Mindfulness Training. We aim to provide basic UI / UX design guidances for being effectiveness of mobile application of Mindfulness Training. For this purpose, We research in various aspects. Base on this, We select an approach and apply the application screen prototypes. We suggest some points for to be considered in the development of UI / IX design for mobile applications for Mindfulness Training based on obtained knowledge through this research process.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the reasons for users to use accommodation applications and thefacts that affect reuse, and to suggest a design that can be used more conveniently for users. O2O services have diversified as more generations are enjoying leisure activities and the mobile market is expanding. Especially, the most important service in leisure activities is accommodation service. For the study, we surveyed about using accommodation application for 103 men and women in their 20s and 30s. Surveys shows that the main reason for users to reuse application is discounted services through events. Therefore, we will suggest anew design by collecting the inconveniences of users when using applications. We hope that the accommodation market can be expanded not only in Korea but also overseas markets by improving the services users, who use accommodation application, want though this study.

  • 현재 소프트웨어 개발 생산성과 품질을 개선하기 위해 컴포넌트 재사용에 관한 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있으며, 특히 분산 개발 환경에서 팀 개발의 생산성을 향상시키기 위한 컴포넌트 재사용 방법이 연구되고 있다. 그러나, 이들 컴포넌트들을 효과적으로 개발, 공유, 관리하기 위한 방안이 부족한 상황이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 컴포넌트의 재사용성을 최대화하기 위하여 반복적 설계 문제를 해결하기 위한 구조를 갖고 있는 디자인 패턴을 대상으로 하는 공유 가능한 디자인 패턴 기반의 컴포넌트 개발 시스템을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 DPCM(Design Pattern Component Modeling) 도구는 추상적인 디자인 패턴 구조와 구체적인 컴포넌트 구조를 저장하기 위해 각각 별도의 Library를 구축한다. 그리고, 두 Library 사이에는 패턴 구조를 특정 애플리케이션에 적합하게 구체화하는 과정을 시각적으로 모델링 하며, 구체적인 구현 코드와 함께 COM 사양의 컴포넌트로 변환한다. 본 논문에서는 개발자들이 애플리케이션 개발에 필요한 컴포넌트를 제공 받을 수 있는 디자인 패턴 기반의 소프트웨어 컴포넌트 개발 도구의 방향을 제시하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to study the elements that make up the interface design of the applicatio, focusing on Android's Google Material Design Guidelines. and propose a way to produce the UI design guide by categorizing it according to form and combination methods. The components provided by the Materials Design Guidelines were disassembled form and attributes, types, and the characteristics. The components of UI design include surfaces, letters, icons, and media, which enable the creation of UI style guides, and the components for the purpose of exploring and communicating information, with different components and rules of use used for the purpose. Based on these results, I would like to propose design criteria for the interface of mobile applications and how to utilize it effectively.

Research on Music Application UI Design and Feature Preferences by MBTI Personality Types (MBTI 성격 유형별 음악 애플리케이션 UI 디자인 및 기능 요구 선호도 연구)

  • This study analyzed the influence of MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) personality types on preferences for user interface (UI) design in music applications. Through an online survey, 535 responses were collected, and data were processed using ANOVA analysis in Python. The analysis revealed that certain MBTI types tend to prefer combinations of warm and neutral color tones, aligning with their artistic sensibilities and emphasis on harmony. Conversely, other MBTI types show a preference for colder color tones or combinations of cold and neutral tones, reflecting their practical and systematic tendencies. Additionally, it was found that UI layout preferences also vary according to personality types. Some MBTI types exhibit a preference for the 'Mostly Fluid' model, reflecting their efficient and systematic nature. These findings underscore the importance of considering users' individual personality types in UI design for music applications.

Mobile Shopping Motives and Fashion Application Acceptance (모바일 쇼핑동기와 패션애플리케이션 수용)

  • The application demand has been rapidly increasing along the growth of smart devices. Companies actively use the application as marketing tools. In particular, fashion businesses expect the improvement of customer loyalty and brand image by using the applications as the communication channel with consumers. This paper investigated the relationship between mobile shopping motives and mobile shopping acceptance. Influence of such variables on perceived importance of various fashion application attributes was also accessed. Data from male and female respondents were analyzed for the empirical study. Results indicated that mobile shopping motives were classified into convenience, ubiquity, impulsiveness and economic motives. Fashion application attribute was classified into contents, continuous management, design/visibility, downloading and community. Mobile shopping motives had significant correlation with fashion application acceptance. Shopping motives and fashion application acceptance had significant impacts on perceived importance of various fashion application attributes.

  • 최근 이슈가 되고 있는 안드로이드 플랫폼은 높은 개방성을 지니고 있다. 이러한 안드로이드 플랫폼에서 애플리케이션을 개발할 때 애플리케이션 간의 데이터 처리는 매우 중요한 이슈이다. 안드로이드 플랫폼에서 데이터를 전송할 때 활용할 수 있는 메커니즘에는 클립보드, 인텐트 그리고 컨텐트 프로바이더 등이 있다. 클립보드는 윈도우즈의 클립보드와 동일한 기능을 가지지만 스트링 타입의 데이터만을 전송할 수 있어 다양한 데이터 처리에는 활용하기가 어렵다. 그리고 인텐트는 데이터 전송에 사용할 수 있지만 인텐트 메커니즘의 주목적은 어떤 액션이 수행되어야 할 메시지를 전달하는 것이기 때문에 다양한 타입의 데이터를 전달하는 데는 적합하지 않다. 또한 데이터를 전달하더라도 데이터의 정보를 포함해야하고 이를 구현하기는 까다롭다. 컨텐트 프로바이더는 애플리케이션 간 데이터 전송을 위해 제공하는 메커니즘이지만 양 애플리케이션 간에는 같은 형식의 레코드를 포함해야 한다. 데이터 저장소로 데이터베이스를 사용하기 때문에 컨텐트 프로바이더를 사용하기 위해서 데이터베이스의 연결 및 질의에 대한 구현도 개발자의 작업에 추가가 된다. 이러한 안드로이드 플랫폼에서 애플리케이션 간의 데이터 전송을 하기 위한 방법의 문제점을 보완하고 해결하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 메타서비스를 설계하고 구현하였다. 메타서비스는 클립보드의 간단한 활용방법에 착안하여 텍스트 데이터뿐만 아니라 다른 타입의 데이터도 전송이 가능하도록 지원해주는 서비스이다. 또한 애플리케이션 개발 과정에서 데이터 처리에 대한 구현 시 복잡성을 주여 효율적이며 높은 가독성을 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 메타서비스의 구조와 디자인 그리고 활용 방법에 대해서 자세히 다룬다.
