oneM2M Standard based Low Altitude Drone/UAV Traffic Management System (oneM2M 표준 기반 저고도 무인기 관리 및 운영시스템)

  • Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (i.e., drone) are gaining a lot of interest from a wide range of application domains such as infrastructure monitoring and parcel delivery service. In those service scenarios, multiple UAVs are involved and should be reliably operated by so-called UAV management system. For that, we propose oneM2M standard based UAV management and control system which is specifically targeted at traffic management of low-altitude UAVs. In this paper, we include oneM2M platform architecture and its implementation for UAV management system in conjunction with UAV interworking procedure.

Efficiency Estimation on Propulsion System of an Electric Powered UAV (전기동력 무인항공기의 추진시스템 효율 추정에 관한 연구)

  • In the present study, we conducted the research on the high efficiency propulsion system for the development of long-endurance UAV with an electric propulsion system. For the long endurance UAV, fair aerodynamic characteristics with the high efficiency of the propulsion system is required because the flight power and the duration time of the long-endurance UAV vary greatly depending on the efficiency of the propulsion system. Therefore, in this study, the tracking program which records the performance of motor, propeller was developed because of their wide variation in the efficiency depending on the using condition, and records from the existing flight test program were utilized to check the accuracy of the program we had developed. For the development of future long-endurance solar UAV, we confirmed the applied voltage of motor, the optimal rotation of propeller and the gear ratio of reduction gear in order to get the highest efficiency on the propulsion system at the optimal flying condition.

  • 유비쿼터스 환경에서 소형, 저전력의 임베디드 시스템은 저가로 구성되는 시스템이라는 특성으로 인해 넓고 다양한 지역에 분포될 수 있고 분포 시킬 시스템의 개수와 설치 방법등에 있어 큰 유연성을 가지고 있어 그 활용에 있어 매우 큰 잠재적인 요소를 보유하고 있다. 이러한 시스템에 채용되는 마이크로컨트롤러는 매우 제한된 메모리 용량과 낮은 클럭속도, 낮은 레벨의 연산 성능을 가지는게 일반적이다. 본 논문에서의 마이크로 컨트롤러를 위한 영상 촬영 및 압축 시스템은 이러한 소형의 마이크로 컨트롤러를 사용한 소형의 저전력 임베디드 시스템에서 사용하기 위한 목적의 영상 촬영 및 압축을 위한 시스템이다. 본 시스템은 영상을 촬영하고 촬영된 영상을 JPEG로 압축하며 이를 내부 메모리에 보관함으로써 저사양의 마이크로컨트롤러를 가지는 시스템과 낮은 데이터 전송률을 가지는 통신 환경에서도 이미지 기반의 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 환경을 제공하면서 동시에 매우 소형의 시스템으로 배터리 동작 기반의 저전력 시스템을 위한 설계로 유비쿼터스 환경의 구성에 매우 유용한 기능을 제공한다.

  • In the present study, the preliminary study on a small solar-powered RC airplane are performed for the development of a long-endurance solar-powered UAV. Solar energy enables the solar-powered UAV to fly longer or eternally. The solar-powered UAV transfers the solar energy to electric energy and this energy is used for the flight and the battery charge. To increase the flying time, the efficiency of the solar-cell power system must be increased and the required power for flight must be minimized. Hence, the system integration including solar cell and controller, the power system design, and the aerodynamic and structural designs of the UAV is very important. The present study have performed the design, manufacture, and flight test of the small solar-powered UAV for the preliminary study of the long-endurance solar-powered UAV. From this study, the system integration technology of the solar-powered UAV design is established, and the possibility and the issue points for the development of the long-endurance solar-powered UAV are discussed.

  • This paper presents development of the transponder system which provides an accurate train position, especially for supporting 400km/h high speed train. Here, we analyzed an operating frequency band of the transponder system which can be interoperable with the Eurobalise system already installed in Korea railroad as to be used for the automatic train protection (ATP). By investigating the power frequency band and its data frequency band of the transponder system, we presents the adoptable frequency band for the developed transponder system. Additionally, through the real testbed using HEMU-430X, we evaluate its performance requirement and shows interoperable operation with the Eurobalise system.

  • 능동형필터는 주로 비선형 부하로 부터 발생되는 정수배의 고조파를 보상하는데 응용되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 국가핵융합연구소(NFRI)의 KSTAR 주장치의 전원공급장치인 PF MPS가 가동되면서 특이한 저차수 대역의 비정수 고조파가 발생되는데 이는 MG(motor generator)와 RPC (Reactive Power Compensator)간의 병렬공진 확대현상으로 나타나 고조파 전류의 증가, 전압왜형 상승 등 안정적인 전력계통 운영에 영향을 주고 있다. 따라서 이의 원인이 되는 특이성의 비정수 고조파를 저감시키기 위한 제어 알고리즘 개발과 모의시험에 관한 연구내용을 다루고자한다. 지금까지 개발된 알고리즘은 주로 정수배 고조파만을 대상으로 한 FFT의 일괄보상, 혹은 개별차수 보상방식이었으나 여기서는 DQ 변환 알고리즘을 채용하여 정수배 고조파는 물론 0.5차 단위의 비정수 고조파까지 제어하는 기술을 다루었다.

  • Pectobacterium carotovorum subsp. carotovorum (Pcc) causes soft rot disease in various plants. Although many studies about Pcc have been going on, little is known yet about the defense genes from plants. To identify defense associated genes in response to Pcc, we screened about 20 thousand Arabidopsis T-DNA knock out lines by inoculation with Pcc. We obtained a line (Atspt1) showing more susceptible symptom compared to WT (Col-0) on 1 day after the inoculation of Pcc on leaves of Arabidopsis with toothpicks. In this study, we optimized the system to select resistant and susceptible lines to Pcc from T-DNA inserted pool of Arabidopsis and expect the system and Atspt1 might be used for molecular breeding to produce resistant vegetables against Pcc.

The stability of ITO, AZO and SZO thin films in hydrogen plasma (ITO, AZO, SZO 박막의 수소 플라즈마에 대한 안정성)

  • The stabilities of ITO, AZO, and SZO have been studied in hydrogen plasma. We used the ITO films produced from Corning LTD, and AZO, SZO films made by rf magnetron sputtering methods. These films were loaded in PECVD chamber and exposed to hydrogen plasma. For ITO, the optical transmittance was decreased as sample surface temperature and exposure time were increased during hydrogen plasma treatment. The transmittance of ITO dropped to 10~20% and its conductivity disappeared completely after exposing to hydrogen plasma for 30 minutes at $300^{\circ}C$. For AZO and SZO, there was no optical loss but the optical gap was widened due to the hydrogen incorporation into the film, indicating Burstein-Moss effect. Also the surface morphology of AZO and SZO was stable in hydrogen ambient but ITO showed rough surface due to the reduction of metal elements.

  • In recent years, while the importance of thermal management has been emphasized due to smaller electronic products, various materials have been used as heat sink. In this study, porous ceramic heat sink was developed with SiC, successfully separated from the slurry of SiC occurring in solar energy materials industry and the thermal performance of porous SiC heat sink has been compared with those of aluminum heat sink and pure SiC heat sink through experiment. From the experimental results, it was verified that porous recycled SiC heat sink has better thermal performance than aluminum heat sink since its micropores increase the heat transfer area. In addition, the effect of the micropores on thermal performance has been quantified by increasing convective heat transfer coefficient with numerical analysis.

A Study on the Influence Factor Relationship of the Railway Tourism Policy for Job Satisfaction (철도관광정책 직무만족도 영향요인 연계성 분석)

  • This research used a survey of 350 staff members working at Korail with the purpose of analyzing influence factors for the railway tourism policy for job satisfaction; results were presented for the proposed factor. First, we selected the influence factor through precedent research related to the railway tourism policy. Second, the selected influence factor and the extent of satisfaction were used to determine whether or not any kind of difference existed according to individual attributes of the railway employees. Finally, we analyzed what the influence factor was between the category factor and the sub-category factor. In conclusion, it was found that government subsidy had a meaningful correlation with infrastructure expansion and the improvement of the railway business as it is connected to tourism efficiency. Human resources have a meaningful correlation with the needs of educational institutions and the retaining of talent. Railway tourism production has a meaningful correlation with railway tour production as it is conducted to satisfy tourists and the consortium. The shift of viewpoint has a meaningful correlation with the escape from the peace-at-any price principle and demand forecasting.
