친환경 건축물 관련 국제 규격 제정 현황 ISO TC59/SC17을 중심으로

  • 친환경 건축물의 건설을 유도$.$촉진하여 건축 분야에서 발생되는 환경부하를 저감시키고 건축물의 환경 친화적인 시공과 사용을 권장하기 위한 친환경 건축물 인증제도가 2002년 12월부터 시행중이다. 본 제도는 우선 공동주택을 대상으로 시행한 후 주상복합, 업무용, 상업용, 리모델링 건축물가지 단계적으로 확대하는 계획을 가지고 있다. 현재 시행중인 인증제도에서 친환경 건축물 평가지침은 1년 동안의 시범적용기간을 거쳤으며, 적용상 문제점이 노출되어 개정 작업을 준비중에 있다.

  • In recent years, active developments have taken place in Southeast Asia in various aspects of deep foundations. Some of these developments are reviewed in this Paper. These include techniques of behaviourial analysis such as Chin's Plot and Balasubramaniam's Pull-out Test. Also included are recent advances in small size piles, large bored piles and caisson foundations. The performance of and the experience gained in some of these foundations are highlighted.

Study on the Defects of Finishing Works of Apartment Houses during Warranty Liability Period and its Correlation (공동주택 마감공사의 하자보수기간 현황 및 연관성 연구)

  • The warranty liability period for defects in apartment buildings by work type is not based on scientific analysis, making the appropriateness of the term a culprit behind the lawsuits. Therefore, this research aims to evaluate the appropriateness of the warranty liability term of apartment buildings by identifying the current status of defects, in particular, caused by finishing works. That is because the number of defects, caused during the finishing works, accounted for the largest portion of the total defect cases of apartment buildings reported to the Apartment Defect Dispute Mediation Committee under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport of Korea between 2010 and 2011. The result from analyzing claims for defect repairs of the finishing works showed that most cases by work type continued to be made after two years, and only about 60% were charged within the warranty period. And, defects by work type have correlation, which needs to be considered for a better construction technique. Considering a low correlation between the possibility of defects and the construction performance rankings, which are highly relevant to the apartment preference. It is believed that there needs to be a qualification process for agencies that actually performs finishing works.

  • Frequent design changes or unnecessary project executions due to illogical practice, lack of feasibility study and, hasty drive have raised problems of budget waste in Korean construction projects. Since the MOCT (Ministry of Construction & Transportation) published Master Plan for budget efficiency for government projects, there have been a lot of policy efforts for budget saving. However, it has been pointed out that cost management at the pre-construction phase, which greatly influences the cost still remains imperfect. The target cost for government clients is not being estimated reasonably, and cost controlling at the pre-construction phase is not yet being carried out properly for keeping the budget. Therefore, improved construction cost management at the pre-construction phase was proposed in this paper. The cost management systems of advanced countries were investigated for it, and the issues were drawn from the cost management systems of these countries. On the basis of the issues, the present conditions and problems of domestic construction cost management at the pre-construction phase were analyzed for suggestion.

  • 복잡 다기능화 사회를 효율적으로 운영하기 위한 각종 관련 산업이 발전하면서 초초고층빌딩의 건설이 확대될 예정이다. 일반적으로 1,000 ft를 넘는 빌딩을 '초초고층 빌딩'이라 하며, 고부가가치 시설인 초초고층빌딩 전기설비의 국내 기술수준은 기본설계 자료 외국 의존, 기본 성능보증을 위한 여건 미흡, 초초고층빌딩 건설 관련 전기설비시공 경험의 부족 등으로 인하여 선진국의 의존도가 높다. 따라서, 초초고층 빌딩 전기설비 성능 중심의 시공기술 개발 등이 절실하게 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 국내 외 초초고층 빌딩의 전기설비 성능 중심 기준 현황, 시공기술의 로드맵 작성을 위한 기술동향 및 환경을 조사, 분석하였으며, 또한 전기설비공사 성능 중심 로드맵 작성 및 요소기술을 도출하였다. 향후 국내의 성능관련 법규 및 기준을 마련할 필요성이 있으며, 기법 개발과 더불어 실용 시스템에 구축하는 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

  • Recently, it is caused by environment change that is increased the number of lightning occurrence and the strength of lightning current is coming to be strong little by little. The performance of grounding system depends on how to construct. Specially the common grounding systems which uses the buried earth cable must be constructed by very well qualities because it is difficult to measure earth resistance and to manage the buried earth cable. Common grounding systems and independence grounding systems could be composed different. Against railway signalling equipment which like this is used from the environment lower part which is various it presents a standard grounding systems, and very it is hard job. We will present improvement through this paper that review grounding systems configuration condition of railway signalling equipment.

  • The objective of the research is to develop the automated vertical controllable pilot-type equipment for PHC piles. The motivation for the research is that inherent problems related to vertical control during pile driving. The paper explains the current vertical control methods and problems, design and manufacturing of the pilot-type automated equipment and its testing and discussions of the results.

  • In this research, the comparison and analysis of domestic prestressed concrete bridges were performed with major variations of superstructure type, and span lengths using the 'current status of roadbridge and tunnel' informations provided by MLTM and STATISTICS KOREA. As a result of analysis, steel box girder bridges with 50~100m span length represent about 76% of bridges, but prestressed concrete bridges represent a relatively smaller percentage. In order to replace steel box girder bridges with prestressed concrete bridges, it is necessary to develop prestressed concrete bridges with high-strength tendons and concrete.

  • The Korean construction industry has led the miraculous economic boost of Korea by providing solid domestic infrastructures such as highway, roads, and airports. It also played a critical role in global construction market and eaned more than 500 billions dollars in terms of their accumulated international orders. However, domestic construction market has significantly decreased in recent years due to the domestic political environments and global economic crisis. Therefore, the importance of international construction market cannot be more emphasized to the Korean construction market in order for the sustainable growth. There has been, however, little research in the area of identifying required competency elements for the Korean construction industry to stay successful in the global market. The main purpose of this study is to identify elements of core competency to increase global competitiveness for Korean construction industry. Core global construction competency elements were derived from the internal and external environmental analyses along with the extensive literature review, expert interviews and a survey. This study utilized the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) and a gap analysis in providing insights on the status competitiveness of the Korean construction industry in terms of required global core competency elements. The analysis shows that project management and financial management are the main areas for improvements required to engineering contractors while construction contractors need to take a more balanced approach among technical, project management, and financial management in order to increase their global competencies.

Study on the Optimal Construction Method for the Compaction Method of Hydraulic Filling in Metropolitan Areas (도심지 물다짐 공법의 적정 시공방법에 관한 연구)

  • This paper suggests a proper hydraulic filling method in downtown areas. Road subsidence on roadways and sidewalks in downtown areas can result in vehicle damage and casualties. The representative cause of road subsidence is the fraudulent construction in nearby construction sites. A deficiency of excavation restoration causes approximately 25~49% of subsidence. This is performed by equipment or manpower. Hydraulic filling is used in backfilling narrow pipe conduits and spaces between structures. On the other hand, standard specifications and quality assurance standards regarding hydraulic filling principles and construction conditions are insufficient. Therefore, in-door model experiments on hydraulic filling principles, backfilling material, and compaction efficiency were performed. This paper suggests guidelines by investigating and analyzing construction status. In conclusion, thrown backfilling material has a particle size distribution and permeability coefficient as major factors, and detailed standards of the factors are suggested. To improve the compaction efficiency, 90% or more, compaction by the floor should be in units of 0.3m while ensuring a lower drainage layer. When an H-shape stabilizing pile is pulled out after filling, additional hydraulic filling should be in the disturbance range.
