The aim of this study is to examine the effects of the supervision process and functions in social welfare practice on the supervision satisfaction of social workers and their customer orientation. For this, 196 social workers were asked to answer to the questionnaire and their responses were analyzed. The courses between variables were analyzed using structural equation model. The findings from this study show that the supervision process impact on supervision satisfaction, but didn't influence customer orientation. The functions of supervision positively impacted on both supervision satisfaction and customer orientation. Furthermore, the supervision process and functions influence customer orientation with supervision satisfaction as a mediating factor. In addition. this study proposes a supervision practice system as a means to provide customer-oriented service to clients.
This study examines the supervision competence of supervisor from the comparative perspective of supervisor and supervisee, and investigates the effects of organizational factors on supervisor's supervision competence. For this purpose, data collected from 241 workers at social welfare agencies in Gyeonggi-do were analyzed through t-test and hierarchical regression analysis. The major results of data analysis are as follows. First, supervisors are more positive than supervisees in terms of supervision competence. Second, there is a statistically significant difference between two groups in supervision knowledge and qualities among the subfields of supervision competence. Third, in the case of supervisors, the younger the age and the higher the education level, the more positively they perceive their supervision competence, and agency's supervision support explains supervision competence at the level of △R2 = .305 at p> .001. Finally, based on the results of this study, the directions for strengthening the supervision competence were suggested.

This is an empirical study of the factors impacting on supervisee's satisfaction on coaching and supervision in Korea. The study set four independent variables (supervisor, supervisee, contents, and organization), a moderator variable (relationship between the supervisor and supervisee) and a dependent variable (supervision satisfaction) based on the theoretical background on supervision. The data was collected from a survey of 112 certified coaches who had experienced supervision. As a results of the hypotheses tests, the supervisor and organization factors affected the supervision satisfaction. The relationship between the supervisor and supervisee moderates the impact of the supervisor and supervisee on the supervision satisfaction. They reported that the effectiveness of the coaching supervision in Korea was strongly dependent on the supervisors. These results were attributed to the short history of the coaching supervision and the lack of experience related to it. They also suggested that a great deal of research on coaching supervision will be needed to develop a clear identity/framework of coaching supervisor and its methods.

A survey of 275 employees of 15 facilities of Daejeon and Chungnam area was conducted. Main analysis methods are confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation model analysis. The analysis result is that supervision influences job burnout and mediating effect of self-efficacy is proved. Considering the analysis result, some countermeasures can be proposed to alleviate the job burnout. For improving the supervision of workers, the strengthening of educational and evaluational supervision, the provision of education and training for supervisors and individualized supervision, and the inclusion of supervision in facility evaluation are necessary. The main methods were confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling analysis using SPSS and AMOS. The analysis results showed that the relationship between supervision and job commitment and the mediating effect of professionalism perception were verified. For activating the supervision, it is necessary to strengthen the educational supervision, systematize the supervision, and strengthen the supervisor education. This study conducted a survey of 117 music therapy graduate students from four schools in their second through fifth semester who have sufficient clinical training experience to form a basis for satisfactory clinical training. The result shows that the respondents reported their highest satisfaction levels with their course and curriculum (3.78), followed by supervision (3.75) and clinical training (3.65). In general, students who did not major music as undergraduates showed higher satisfaction levels. The satisfaction level of students in the earlier stages of clinical training is generally high. However, it gradually decreases as they move to more advanced stages, and increases somewhat during the internship training period. The supervisor's role was a decisive factor in reported levels of satisfaction with supervision and clinical training, and the music therapy element was a decisive factor on the course and curriculum satisfaction level, This survey is meaningful as it paves the way for the development of more satisfactory clinical training, and offers important guidelines to students in terms of the kinds of talents and characteristics they should develop.
The objective of this study is to suggest methods to improve in-home service quality through service evaluation by long-term care workers. To achieve this objective, general characteristics of 223 long-term care workers, evaluation of service and agency, and retraining needs have been surveyed. An assessment of the survey results have resulted in the following conclusions. Though long-term care workers are not uneducated, the majority face unstable employment. And the content of supervision hoped for in producing improved long-term care services has been found to be based on the service-user's relationships. Moreover, among topics needing to be addressed for retraining, much attention has been shown for understanding of the elderly and their families, health care knowledge about geriatric diseases, and counseling techniques directed towards the affected person and their family. Findings from the research are as follow: enhancing the quality of long-term care requires a structural reassessment; upgrading the quality of care agencies requires the improvement of methods used to raise awareness of users and their guardians and the expansion of opportunities for education programs for professionalism.
