  • The purposes of this study are to find the difference in information literacy among the elderly home care service users and to identify the impact of information literacy on service quality and satisfaction among service users. To achieve the goals, this study used 466 responses from the elderly home care service recipients in Jeollabukdo providence, and conducted t-tests, ANOVA and a series of regression analyses. The results showed that there were significant differences in information literacy by gender, household type, residence area, education level and subjective health status among service users. The study also found that service users information literacy had a significant impact on service quality and satisfaction, and it confirms the importance of customized service. This study suggests that information literacy inequality exists among the elderly home care service users, therefore, the way to improve information delivery strategy should be developed for the information-poor elderly.

  • Studies on switching intention have been one of the most interesting topics. In this paper we investigate empirically the factors influencing the mobile communication service switching intention. Our research model includes the relationship between 'switching intention' and 'habit', 'alternative attractiveness', 'present service satisfaction'. In addition, we try to find the effects that 'habit' and 'alternative attractiveness' give to 'switching intention' through 'present service satisfaction'. Finally, the moderating effects of 'handset subsidy' are examined. We analyze the model by Multiple Group Structural Equation Model. This proves that 'habit', 'present service satisfaction', and 'alternative attractiveness' give direct effects to 'switching intention'. And 'habit' and 'alternative attractiveness' give the indirect effects to 'switching intention' through 'present service satisfaction'. In addition, 'handset subsidy' has the moderating effects between 'switching intention' and 'habit'.

  • This study aims to measure the service quality of children's libraries using LibQUAL+ and to analyze the effect of service quality on users' satisfaction. To do that, a survey was conducted with 210 users in three children's libraries located in J city. In three service quality dimensions - 'Affect of Service', 'Information Control', and 'Library as Place' - the users' perceived service level was less than the minimum service level, which implies that the current services should be improved immediately. It was also found that 'Affect of Service' and 'Library as Place' influenced the users' satisfaction. Based on the statistical results and the content analysis of the users' comments about the library services, this study suggests recommendations for improving library services in the children's libraries.

  • This study was designed to analyze, by using a hierarchical logistic regression analysis method, how difficulties in business start-ups and personal characteristics independently determine the utilization of micro-enterprise support services. The services were categorized into eight areas: capital, technical service, psychological service, item feasibility and business plan, site selection and interior service, marketing, finance and accounting, employment service. This study found that difficulties in business start-ups were a significant factor in six areas. Personal characteristics were a significant factor in four areas, when difficulties in start-ups were controlled. Among the personal characteristics, higher possibility of service utilization was anticipated in people with start-ups experience than people without experience, and in women than men. This results point out that service strategies should be targeted for people with difficulties in order to improve the accessibility of micro-enterprises support services. The results also indicate that the strategies should be considered for people with no start-ups experience, low academic ability, and female entrepreneurs who are vulnerable.

  • In this paper, using the demographic information of each member of a family, we figured out which member of a family has more influence on channel selection. We conducted an experiment which subdivide each breadwinners' income into 7 phases, and analysis the influence when they watch TV. The breadwinners' influence on TV channel selection is increased as breadwinners' income is getting higher. In the case of spouses, they have consistent influence on TV channel selection without reference to their breadwinners' income. We conducted another experiment which subdivide the youngest person's age in each family into 4 phases to watch the influence on TV channel selection. As the youngest person grows, they have more influence. With the experiments conducted in this paper, we could draw an interesting result, and this result is expected to provide good services such as content recommendation by considering the context of each family.

First, information provision, convenience, service quality and SNS usage experience positively influence attitudes toward SNS. Second, attitude positively influences usage intention of SNS. Finally, information provision and service quality to attitudes toward SNS for males are significantly large than those for females. Convenience and SNS usage experience to attitudes toward SNS for females are significantly large than those for males. And attitude to usage intention toward SNS for males are significantly large than those for females. The results of this study will provide various implications to improve usage intentions of SNS in MICE industry.
