The purpose of this study is a exploratory study for understanding the process of the social isolation of the socially isolated elderly through the approach to their life history. The research was analyzed by one of the methods of qualitative research on life history, the conceptual framework of 'Dimensions, turning, and adaptation' of Mandelbaum(1973). According to the results of this study, the socially isolated elderly people were found to be socially isolated by experiencing complex difficulties such as family disconnection, poverty, poor job and health deterioration. Specifically, in the area of life, there was experience of poor relationship with parent, absence of family, poverty of family and unfavorable relationship with surrounding people in life with original family before isolation. They had bad jobs in the labor market, such as hard labor, delivery, business, and chores. In the area of turning point, we experienced family break due to the separation of the original family and the spouse due to various reasons such as financial crisis, parental divorce and death, spouse affair, economic difficulty. In a transitional stage in the life, many reasons such as the financial crisis, the death of parents, the extramarital affair and economic difficulties led to the disconnection from their original family and their spouses. In an adaptive phase, participants accepted the changed life at each turning point in their lives, carrying out their roles, compromising and trying to adapt properly. He said that their current life, which has entered the social safety net system of the people's basic recipients, has led him to live a more stable life and is adapting to personal hobbies and vicarious satisfaction through networks. This result is somewhat different from previous studies in which isolated elderly people were severely exposed to the risk of depression and loneliness. However, we should also consider the characteristics of this study that interviewed elderly people with relatively low isolation. Based on the results of this research, he presented various practical policy implications.
The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of an autobiography writing program as a method of education for older adults. The authors participated in the processes of all 10 sessions of the autobiography writing program as instructors or program assistants at a senior welfare center in Seoul, 2007. Data used for analysis were learners' narrations in class, written autobiographies by learners, and researchers' memo-notes. We analyzed their narrative flows using Haenninen(2000)'s theory of narrative flow and reconstructed their categories of activities as life histories. 'The innen narration' constructed by learners was a spiritual process in which they have imbued their life and living conditions with meaning. The learners reminisced their lives as 'unreflective narration' in the beginning of education. However, as the class went on, they gradually reminisced them as "reflective narration" and finally developed them as 'meta-reflective narration' through the intentional reflection. Likewise, we could interpret the transition of learners into meta-reflecter as the completion of ego-integration. As a conclusion, we found the effects of the autobiography writing education for older adults in educational, social, and psychological aspects.
The Purpose of this study was to determine the effective dose to an average patient from Coronary Angiography (CA) and Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI). And to estimate the lifetime attributable risk (LAR) of cancer associated with radiation exposure from CA and PCI. The dose-area product (DAP) values to the patient were recorded from 60 CA and 58 PCI. A Monte Carlo based program PCXMC was used to calculate the effective dose from DAP values for each patient. Lifetime attributable risks were estimated with models developed in the National Academies' Biological Effects of Ionizing Radiation VII report. The mean DAP values was $53.76\;Gy{\cdot}cm^2$ for CA and $165.82\;Gy{\cdot}cm^2$ for PCI. Mean effective dose were 1.28 mSv in CA, 3.94 mSv in PCI. Results of Calculate organ dose, lung doses was 2.17 mSv in CA and 6.71 mSv in PCI. Female breast doses was 5.45 mSv in CA and 16.82 mSv in PCI. LAR estimates for CA varied from 1 in 1,508 for man to 1 in 1,357 for women. In PCI procedure varied from 1 in 553 for man to 1 in 482 for women. DAP can be used as the dose indicator to calculate the organ dose and effective dose of patient based on Monte Carlo simulation. These dose estimates derived from our simulation models suggest that CA and PCI are associated with a nonnegligible LAR of cancer. This risk varies markedly and is considerably greater for women, PCI than for man, CA.

Lifelong education is a periodic keyword. For a lifelong learner friendly education, university should provide the adult learners with the efficient academic administrative service. A university should support them in learning a series of graded lifelong study and come up with the convenience of continuous learning, maintaining the educational operation as a lifelong education university. A local government induces the regional economy reinvigoration from setting the lifelong learning conditions of the city. In this paper, I suggest a policy management scheme for opening training courses of 3D printing and CAD professionals training module as a non-degree reeducation programs for the lifelong learners that reflects the industrial milieu of the local community.

Precise analysis on deterioration processes of road pavements is not so simple matter due to severe uncertainty originated from a lot of explanatory variables engaged in. For those reasons, most analytical models for pavement deterioration prediction have often preferred to probabilistic approaches than deterministic models. However, the general probabilistic approaches that treat overall characteristics of population or entire sample would not be suitable for providing detail or localized information on their changing process. Considering the aspects, this paper aimed to suggest a stochastic disaggregation method to analyze the localized deterioration speeds and its variances changed by time and condition states. In addition, life expectancies and their uncertainty were estimated by probabilistic algorithm using the disaggregated stochastic process. For an empirical study, pavement inspection data (crack) accumulated from 2003 to 2010 from Korean national highway network was applied. This study can contribute to securing reliability of life cycle cost analysis, which is one of the primary analyses in road asset management, with much advanced deterioration forecasting functions. In addition, it would be meaningful trials as fundamental research for preventive maintenance strategy that demands essential understanding on changing process of the deterioration speed of pavement.

Digital resources are widely used in our modern society. However, we are facing fundamental problems to maintain and preserve digital resources over time. Several standard methods for preserving digital resources have been developed and are in use. It is widely recognized that metadata is one of the most important components for digital archiving and preservation. There are many metadata standards for archiving and preservation of digital resources, where each standard has its own feature in accordance with its primary application. This means that each schema has to be appropriately selected and tailored in accordance with a particular application. And, in some cases, those schemas are combined in a larger frame work and container metadata such as the DCMI application framework and METS. There are many metadata standards for archives of digital resources. We used the following metadata standards in this study for the feature analysis me metadata standards - AGLS Metadata which is defined to improve search of both digital resources and non-digital resources, ISAD(G) which is a commonly used standard for archives, EAD which is well used for digital archives, OAIS which defines a metadata framework for preserving digital objects, and PREMIS which is designed primarily for preservation of digital resources. In addition, we extracted attributes from the decision tree defined for digital preservation process by Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) and compared the set of attributes with these metadata standards. This paper shows the features of these metadata standards obtained through the feature analysis based on the records lifecycle model. The features are shown in a single frame work which makes it easy to relate the tasks in the lifecycle to metadata elements of these standards. As a result of the detailed analysis of the metadata elements, we clarified the features of the standards from the viewpoint of relationships between the elements and the lifecycle stages. Mapping between metadata schemas is often required in the long-term preservation process because different schemes are used in the records lifecycle. Therefore, it is crucial to build a unified framework to enhance interoperability of these schemes. This study presents a basis for the interoperability of different metadata schemas used in digital archiving and preservation.
The present study examines the development of self-esteem from young adulthood to old age, as well as predictors of change in self-esteem over time. The eight waves of Korean Welfare Panel Data(KOWEPS) were used for analyses, and a nationally representative sample of 15,511 individual aged 19 years and above were included. The multilevel growth curve model was specified to address the research questions. The result shows that the self-esteem trajectory differed across different age groups with those in early adulthood and adulthood showed an increasing linear trajectories while the old age showed a declining slope. Furthermore, predictors of changes in self-esteem also differed across the age groups that while depression and relationship variables were constant in predicting self-esteem change for all three age groups, some variables such as marital status, poverty status, and employment status predicted individuals in certain age groups. Such results demonstrate the need to understand and examine the change in self-esteem at the individual level.

The purpose of the study was to analyze the home economics education experts' and teachers' perception of ways to align instruction with evaluation, based on the 2015 revised technology and home economics curriculum for the purpose of developing the independent living competencies, and to provide examples of alignment in practice. The analysis is based on the data from a Delphi study (10 experts) and a survey of technology and home economics teachers(n=422). The results of survey indicated that experts and teachers perceived the instruction-assessment alignment to be most appropriate for project learning-project assessment, followed by project learning-portfolio assessment, problem solving learning-portfolio assessment, and problem solving learning-project assessment, in order. Based on the survey results, a model of instruction-assessment alignment and a teaching-learing plan were presented, based on 'Development task of life cycle and Life plan' unit. This was considered to be a proper method of instructional alignment for the purpose of developing 'independent living competence' with project-learning/project-assessment. The model focuses on consistency between instruction and evaluation, unity in methods, and the availablility of feedbacks of assessment for the improvement of independent living competencies. In conclusion, this study contributes as foundational information for teaching and learning-assessment alignment. Diverse methods of instruction-evaluation alignment is expected for future research.

The purpose of therapeutic approach of humanities, including literary therapy, is ultimately encourage the growth and the development of human being rather than the development of therapeutic techniques for eradicating symptoms. This paper is noteworthy as to the fundamental work for using folktales at therapy sessions. It may be argued that therapy is the process of searching clients' own development history and accepting current challenges in relation to overall context of their own lives and this may lead to the growth clients. In this regard, this paper attempts to set up the selection criteria for folktales to be effectively applied in therapy sessions. The author of the paper argued in her previous paper that folktales may be effective in terms of self-understanding of clients. Folktales can assist clients regarding the objectification of their issues by projecting and exposing their problems. Therefore, this paper argues the method for selecting proper folktales to stimulate of clients" developmental challenges and ultimately to expose them. The first groundwork for this is understand contents of folktale as to general problems of life and view it as the development of one's entire life. The challenge of client is personal and unique but at the same time it is problems of general development process. The author examines the need for developmental approach of literary therapy and attempts to compose a classification framework for understanding folktales as to developmental process. This may use at literary therapy sessions to select proper folktales based on clients' complaining issues and their developmental age. The criteria also can be used as the basis of clients" reaction on folk-tales.
This study was conducted with the purpose of helping middle-aged women who experienced insecure attachment during personal growth experience positive changes by re-illuminating their own growth process. During this study period, 14 in-depth interviews were conducted from August 2020 to September 2021, and the interview contents were based on the narrative research methodology to examine the meaning of participants' experiences regarding unstable attachment and post-traumatic growth in existential contexts. The text was described in terms of, relational context, life context, etc. As a result of the study, three participants who experienced unstable attachment and post-traumatic growth were selected and the following conclusions were drawn. First, the meaning in the existential context is the desire for recognition, perfectionism, unstable family environment, how to cope with stress, the courage to face the wounds, self-acceptance and affirmation, gratitude to the people around you, and the hope of life is the meaning in the participant experience. was interpreted as Second, the meaning in the relational context was interpreted as experiences with parents, husbands, children, interpersonal relationships, and religion. Third, the meaning in the life context is the lack of care, the reproduction of control, the responsibility as the eldest daughter, the precious family, and the meaning and value of life is the present experience in which the various experiences with the parents in the past affect the lives of the current participants. interpreted in Through the above research results, this study aims to describe the experiences of insecure attachment during childhood and the post-traumatic growth process of participants using a narrative technique, and to suggest positive alternatives to their lives.
