Preference Analysis for Location Based Services on Smartphone Environment Using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP 기법을 이용한 스마트폰 환경에서 위치기반 서비스에 대한 선호도 분석)

  • Increasingly important user based service on the smart media era, and increasing awareness about the user experience. In this study, by considering these realities, what impact location based constructs on smartphone environment, continuous intention to use you want to identification. Thus, this study conducted of preference the influencing factors for location based constructs. First steps, based constructs known empirical studies were categorized information, entertainment, safe&emergency, navigation&tracking and advertising& commerce. Second Steps, the categorized factors were analyzed preference relationship between constructs using AHP(analytic hierarchy process) technique. Questionnaire survey was conducted to those who employees S Telecom in Busan city and Gyeongnam province during 2000. 4. 15 and 2014. 4. 30. The result of the analysis might be summarized that the navigation(0.133) has the highest preference ran in the constructs. Based on these findings, several theoretical and practical implications were suggested and discussed.

Analysis of Fun Elements and User Preferences in Environment Adaptive Survival Games (환경 적응적 생존 게임의 재미 요소와 사용자 분석)

  • Survival horror games aim to seek cathartic psychological escapism from the framed fear or hostile environment. However, if the goal of the game playing is only "survival" against hostile environment, the motivation of such environment adaptive games may not be based on the framed fear. We may call such games as "environment adaptive survival games". In this paper, we analyze the contents of six such survival games that have large user groups in Steam platform based on the pilot survey. We extract 13 almost common fun elements that induce the fun of such games. An online user survey was conducted through multiple survival game cafe to investigate who play such games. There was no gender differences in playing time but females prefer constructing tools as a fun element and play puzzle and simulation games more than males. We found that survival games could be welcomed by female users under 30 years old if 'horror' element was minimized.

  • 화장품은 그 어떤 제품보다도 소비자가 사용 시 느끼는 관능특성 및 그에 대한 만족도가 중요한 제품이다. 자연스러우면서도 가벼운 메이컵이 유행함에 따라 페이스 파우더를 사용하는 소비자의 비중이 높아지고 그에 따라 다양한 관능특성을 가진 페이스 파우더들이 개발되고 있다. 사전 조사에 따르면 페이스 파우더 사용자들의 사용이유는 자연스러운 화장 및 가벼운 화장, 화사해 보임(블루밍 효과) 등이 주를 이루며 페이스 파우더 사용 시에 주요하게 느끼는 관능특성으로는 파우더 입자에 관한 사항과 화장상태에 관한 사항이 동시에 고려되는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 평상시에 페이스파우더를 주로 사용하는 여성들을 대상으로 다양한 페이스파우더들을 실제 화장단계에 따라 사용하면서 인지되는 페이스 파우더의 관능특성들을 도출하게 한 결과 중 19가지 관능특성 평가 용어가 도출되었으며 이 용어들은 다시 입자 및 도포 요인/촉촉함 및 매트함 요인/색상 및 블루밍 요인의 세가지 요인으로 분류되었다. 이러한 페이스파우더의 주요 관능특징요인과 소비자들이 중요하게 생각하는 관능특성을 적절히 조합하여 각각의 소비자군들이 선호하는 관능속성의 제품을 설계하고 평가할 수 있는 평가방법을 개발하였고 주후 제품개발에 활용하고자 한다.

  • 본 연구는 거주자를 고려한 색채계획에 기초자료로 활용되고자 주거공간의 색채계획 실태와 선호하는 색채를 파악하고, 이를 사용자 측면에서 평가하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 거주자들은 마감재를 선택하는데 있어서 특정한 한 가지 요인보다는 여러 가지 요인을 동시에 고려한다. 둘째, 주거공간에서 색채는 실내분위기를 결정하는데 중요한 요소라고 평가하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 셋째, 현재 거실공간과 부부침실의 경우 천장과 벽의 색상(Hue)은 N(흰색)계열이었고, 색조(Tone)는 밝은 톤으로 마감되어 있음을 알 수 있다. 이러한 색채계획에 관한 만족도는 보통인 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 거실공간과 부부침실에서 가장 선호되는 마감색채는 현재의 것과 동일하게 나타났지만, 현재 마감된 색채보다는 색채종류가 더 다양함을 알 수 있었다.

A Rating Range-based Prediction Method for Collaborative Filtering Systems (협력필터링 시스템을 위한 평가 등급 범위 기반의 예측방법)

  • Recommender systems, which predict and recommend items that may possibly draw users' interests, have been applied in various fields as e-commerce systems are widespread. Collaborative filtering, one of the major methodologies of recommender systems, recommends either items similar to those preferred by the user, or items preferred by the other similar user. Therefore, two problems determine its performance; one is correct estimation of similarity and the other is predicting the real rating of the recommended item. This study addresses the latter problem. Previous studies predict the real rating based on the mean of the ratings, but this study proposes a prediction based on the range of the ratings and investigates its performance through experiments. As a result, it is demonstrated that the proposed method improves the mean absolute error significantly, compared to the previous method.

  • Objective : Recently, the demand for wearable mobile devices for the monitoring and improvement of one's health and quality of life is increasing. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the need of potential users in order to develop mobile health based and lifestyle care application for the elderly. Methods : Participants who lived in their community and used a mobile phone were recruited. Finally, a total of 84 participants completed the survey. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and a t-test, which was carried out with SPSS version 25.0. Results : The application functions that users deemed important for a lifestyle care app were the number of daily steps, physical activity, blood pressure, sleep, nutrition and participation in activity. Interestingly, there was a significant difference in the importance given to the app function of participation in activities between age groups. Conclusion : This study investigated the need and preferences of potential users of health and lifestyle care application for the promotion of health among the elderly. The, findings obtained from this study could be a valuable resource for the development of lifestyle care application.

  • A navigation system for virtual environments using low-quality HMD(head mounted display)must quantize images when the system presents true-color image with restricted number of colors. Such navigation system quantizes an image by using fixed palette. If the system represents an image by using a variable palette which is made considering a region around the viewpoint then user can perceive a virtual environments more vividly because human visual system is sensitive to the colors variation in the region around the viewpoint. In this paper we propose a color quantization algorithm that quantize a region around the viewpoint more finely than other regions at each variation of viewpoint for virtual environments navigation system and compose virtual environments navigation system using proposed algorithm. The system quantizes an image at each variation of viewpoint and shows a quantized image to user through HMD. We tested user preferences for our proposed system and the results show that users preferred our system.

  • As social network service becomes common, the consumers use many discount coupons with which they can purchase goods via social commerce. Although, the quantities of coupons offered from social commerce are currently on the sharp increase, customized coupon service that reflects user preference is not offered. This paper proposes a coupon service method reflecting user's subjective inclination targeting food coupons to offer customized coupon service for social commerce. Towards this end, this paper conducts hierarchization of the factors that become standard in selecting coupons including food types, food prices, discount rates and the number of buyers. And then, this study classifies, extracts and offers the coupons using Fuzzy-AHP, a decision making support method that reflects subjective inclination. From the user satisfaction results on the extracted coupons, the users are generally satisfied: very satisfactory with 45%, satisfactory with 33% and fair with 22%, and there was no experiment participant, who was dissatisfied.

  • Recently, demand for various leisure sports gradually increases, as people's sense of values changes into leisure-centered one according to the change of given social circumstance and the change of customer needs all over the world. The actual condition is that an interest and participation rate especially in water leports during the summer increases. And needs for various hull design of standardized boat for water leisure increase. Therefore, this paper is intended to develop a recommendation system to design a boat for water leisure by using the collaborative filtering technique in order to make it possible to actively cope with the change of various customer needs for hull design. To this end, emotion relating to kayak design was selected through consumer survey, and emotion was derived by factor analysis and assessment, and then a kayak design layout in the aspect of customer's emotional preference was presented. Besides, an analysis was made according to the elements such as hull, body, and propulsion system of kayak in order to select emotional words according to the kayak design reflecting user's preference, and then a boat model for water leisure in conformance with user's preference was presented.
