  • In this research, we conducted a questionnaire using the existing developed digital literacy checklist for analyzing the digital literacy level of Reserve Officers' Training Corps in K-University. In order to verify the validity and reliability of the measurement results collected on the basis of the response results, factor analysis of the question was carried out using the statistical analysis program SPSS 21.0, for each research group, the ability level by each factor was analyzed. Based on the results of analysis using frequency analysis, T-test and One-way ANOVA, we suggested measures to improve digital literacy level of school district officer candidates.

  • Crew on board perform their respective duties in a limited space. Personal factors and job stress affect job satisfaction of seafarers. In this study, it was conducted for a basic survey on relationship stress and satisfaction among the crew members' job stress factors. Job stress of crew who are responsible for the navigation was higher than that of managerial staff, and job satisfaction of navigating crew was also lower than managerial crew. In order to compensate for these results, it is necessary to change the recognition of the managerial personnel. It is necessary to develop and operate education programs to prevent these factors beforehand.

  • This paper deals with the development and application of a 3D printing education program implemented to cultivate creative fusion-type talents required by the 4th Industrial Revolution. Specifically, the entire process developed by applying the ADDIE program development model, from 3D modeling to post-processing of printed materials, was performed individually and for each team for about 200 second-year college students for two weeks. Through this program, students develop the basic ability to apply 3D printing to the learning curriculum, the ability to solve problems through cooperative interactions between team members, and convergence thinking ability by collaborating within the team by students from various major fields. They are proved by analyzing an education satisfaction survey conducted after application of the program. In conclusion, the program of this paper presents a methodology for effective 3D printing education in universities.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop Raspberry Pi-based CanSat instruction materials for liberal arts classes to be used in university space education. The educational satellite simulation program is developed by applying the ADDIE program consisting of analysis, design, development, execution, and evaluation of 15 lessons per semester. The usefulness of the instruction materials is evaluated by a validity test of a total of 6 experts. The proposed materials are applied to 100 college students from various majors. To analyze the impact on creative problem-solving ability, a questionnaire is conducted before and after class, and as a result, it is confirmed that there is a significant improvement in all areas after class. The class satisfaction survey is conducted for a total of 10 questions, and the average score is 4.41 out of 5, which is high. In conclusion, the proposed instruction materials make it possible to achieve successful space education using Raspberry Pi and improve creative problem-solving ability in universities.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of the achievement goal orientation of military cadets and grit on the military cadets' certification of physical fitness rank and on the improvement of the grade. To accomplish the research purpose, a survey was conducted to 350 cadets of the Korea Military Academy in December 2019, and 322 valid responses were analyzed by applying the path analyses. As a result, among the sub-factors of achievement goal orientation, the direct effect of task goal orientation on the two sub-factors of the grit was statistically significant. In addition, the effect of task goal orientation on grade physical certification was statistically significant, with the use of grit(maintaining interest) and grit(continuing effort) as meditating variables. In addition, task goal orientation had a significant effect on the improvement of physical strength grade via two sub-factors of Grit as meditating variables.

  • The CanSat was designed as an educational satellite simulation program that implements the overall system of the satellite such as the command processing unit, the communication unit, and the power unit in a structure of the size of a can. In particular, the training effect is very excellent because the trainee can learn a process similar to the actual satellite development process by designing, manufacturing, testing, and launching. Republic of Korea Air Force Academy has been using the CanSat production kit used by the domestic can satellite contest experience department for education, but since it was produced based on PCB, it was impossible to show creativity and operation was restricted even with small mistakes. In this paper, we analyze the existing CanSat kit and propose a new educational CanSat kit that can be used in creative engineering design and practice subjects that will be reorganized into a regular course from 2021, and a lesson plan. In conclusion, by using the proposed CanSat kit for lectures, it is possible to achieve educational purposes and effects, improve lecture satisfaction, and provide stable instruction.

  • Recently, there has been an increase in the number of social engineering techniques that indirectly attack the target system administrators or organizational weaknesses rather than the traditional technical cyber attacks that directly attacked the target systems. Accordingly, the type analysis and case study of social engineering techniques are being actively conducted. There has been, however, little effort to derive an analysis model that systematically analyzes social engineering based cyberspace operations. Therefore, this paper aims at building a Social Engineering Based Cyberspace Operations Analysis Model, which can be used as a reference framework for a case study or attack scenario generation of social engineering based cyberspace operations.

  • The rapid growth of virtual reality technology in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution has accelerated scientification of combat training systems in addition to ICT(information and communications technology) in military field. Recently, research and development of simulators based on virtual reality have been actively conducted in order to solve sensitive issues such as increase of civil complaints due to the noise of a shooting range, prevention of shooting accident, and reduction of training cost. In this paper, we propose two key solutions: spatial synchronization method and modified point mass trajectory model with small angle approximation to overcome technical limitations of a current training simulator. A trainee who wears a haptic vest in a mixed reality environment built in MARS(medium-range assault rifle shooting simulator) is able to conduct not only precision shooting but also two-way engagement with virtual opponents. It is possible for trainee to receive more reliable evaluations in the MARS than an existing rifle simulator based on laser.
