  • This study aims to suggest the sustainable services for academic library in the New Normal Age, analyzing the online services during the COVID-19 pandemic. For this purpose, this study examined the operation condition of academic libraries' services during the COVID-19, analyzing the untact and online services of 63 libraries of universities which have more than 10,000 students. And this research classified the online services into three types, which are 'collection', 'facilities', 'programs' and examined the library homepage and development plans of academic libraries. This study also looked into the services of Korean public libraries and foreign libraries to suggest the sustainable services for academic library. As a result, this study suggests 'providing online materials for course reserves', 'expansion of research and study curation services to invigorate the use of library materials', 'introducing the smart library system and renovation of library facility and space services', 'planning of online programs through expansion of interaction with users'.

  • This study starts with the consciousness of what should be the public pension service that meets the 4th Industrial Revolution era. To do this, we review the current status of non-facing services of domestic and foreign public institutions, and draw out implications for revitalizing non-facing services of the National Pension over the medium to long term. First, we reviewed the status of non-face-to-face service and the authentication method of the National Pension Service. Next, we reviewed the status of non-facing services in public pension and private agencies in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. Based on the results of the analysis, we needs to analyze the impact of the 4th Industrial Revolution on the National Pension Service and extract future strategies, to expand channels of non-facing by business, to introduce PinTech as a non-facing authentication method, and to propose a unified service channel through the construction of an internet integrated portal. In the 4th industrial revolution era, it is possible to secure the connectivity of government portal for civil affairs and intelligence and automation introducing artificial intelligence robots.

  • The development of information and communication technology and COVID-19 have caused an unusual change in the hotel industry, and the demand for the contactless services such as service robots from hotel customers has surged. Therefore, this study investigates the perception of hotel customers on contactless services by applying a mixed-method analysis. Specifically, this study identified the causal correlations between variables through the structural equation model, and further applied the fuzzy set qualitative comparison analysis to derive patterns of variables that form the intention to use the non-face-to-face services. As a result of the analysis, it was shown that service experience co-creation, palyfulness, personalization, and trust had a significant effect on intention to use through the contactless service use desire. On the other hand, in the results of fuzzy-set qualitative comparison analysis, playfulness was derived as a core factor in all patterns. Based on these analysis results, this study provides academic basis for in-depth understanding of hotel customers' perception of contactless service and specific guidelines for hotel managers on the contactless service strategies in the era of COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Smart cities are attracting attention as a new economic growth engine based on new technologies and means to solve side effects of urbanization such as a surge in energy consumption, deepening environmental pollution, and an increase in crime rates. In particular, as demand for non-face-to-face services increases due to COVID-19, the role of smart cities that can provide various online and offline non-face-to-face services is becoming more important. Therefore, this study defined smart city non-face-to-face services based on literature research on the concept and underlying technology of smart city, and analyzed consumer utility for each service using Conjoint analysis. In particular, differences in user preferences between Sejong City and Busan City, which are currently designated as national smart city pilot cities in Korea, were compared and analyzed, and based on the derived results, measures to improve the competitiveness of smart city services were suggested.

  • Libraries are experiencing numerous modifications to multifunctional spaces in response to the declaration of WHO pandemic. Most libraries throughout the globe have reported their closures, including national libraries in every country, and most established facing services have been transformed to untact services. However, the breadth of the service varies by local autonomous entity and library, making it difficult for librarians to act according to their conviction, and also users are feeling inconvenienced. As a result, this study used a user perception survey to determine the extent of non-face-to-face services in the library and to suggest the direction of operation of non-face-to-face services in a pandemic condition. To that purpose, beginning February 12, 2020, an online survey of library customers in 37 public libraries was performed for about three weeks, and the 117 replies were examined using the SPSS statistics tool to perform frequency analysis, regression analysis, correlation analysis, and reliability analysis. By the survey and data survey results, it was recommended that library services be re-established in the direction of non-face-to-face library service operation, that library non-face-to-face services be expanded, that user education be conducted, that non-face-to-face services be promoted, and that user opinions be collected.

  • The purpose of this study was to present a plan on the effect of non-face-to-face services on library anxiety facilities by analyzing the library anxiety factors of university library users. To this end, we look at the cases of university library user service response activities in response to the COVID-19 crisis and select 40 schools with the highest number of library visitors per student from among domestic four-year university libraries with 5,000 or more and less than 10,000 students. Methods of information service and program cases were analyzed, and K-LAS was reconstructed and surveyed for current students using the K university library, and frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were applied to analyze the library anxiety factors of users. Identify the relationship between 5 library anxiety factors and non-face-to-face service activation factors, such as physical/environmental factors of the library, data search selection factors, digital information system factors, librarian (staff) factors, and psychological/emotional factors, and activate non-face-to-face services. The influence of these factors on library anxiety factors was examined, and as a result, it was found that non-face-to-face service activation factors had the greatest influence on library digital information system anxiety factors. Based on the analysis results, it was attempted to derive a plan to relieve users' library anxiety by activating non-face-to-face services.

  • The demand for non-contact service has increased a lot along with the development of technology and the generalization of social distancing to prevent COVID-19 spread during the pandemic. This study analyzed mediator and moderating variables between digital literacy and intention of continuous use of non-contact service were identified. The result showed that digital literacy had a significant influence on intention of continuous use of non-contact service. In particular, self-efficacy and satisfaction played a moderating role in the relation between digital literacy and intention of continuous use of non-contact service. This study is intended to contribute to expanding the base of non-contact service by verifying whether satisfaction and self-efficacy played important mediator variables in the relation between digital literacy and intention of continuous use of non-contact service

  • There are various Location-Based Services(LBS) that apply GPS technology in mobile devices such as smart-phone and tablet. In this paper, we designed non-face-to-face oriented LBS software in the reality that non-face-to-face services are increasing due to COVID-19. The proposed model searches location information for trading goods or services and utilizes information identified in real time. The proposed scheduling and priority control algorithm provides efficient service allocations and simulation was performed based on web/app to verify this. While commercialized LBS platforms focus on used goods transactions, the designed method is different in that it provides non-face-to-face services and not-direct transactions between individuals. It provides a wide range of transactions and services to users such as small business owners and franchises.
