  • This study developed an English conversation learning program in immersive virtual reality (VR) environments and compared its effects with non-immersive VR environment using a computer monitor. The effects of the program was assessed using language anxiety and learning achievement. The results indicated that students' language anxiety decreased significantly after learning English conversation in VR environment, but there was no difference between immersive and non-immersive VR. The two VR conditions also produced similar learning outcomes. Future research on immersive VR need to address cyber sickness problems and develop effective learning contents in order to realize its potential for learning.

  • This study aims to develop a face-to-face & non-face-to-face convergence tea culture therapy program for elderly people experiencing CORONA 19 pandemic anxiety and digital alienation, and apply the program to eight senior citizens aged 70 or older who use the K Senior Citizens' Day Care Center in P City to verify its effectiveness. Anxiety among elderly people experiencing coronavirus anxiety was 3.02 (SD 0.25) before participating in the program and 2.79 (SD 0.15), indicating a significant difference between before and after participating in the program (Z=4.245, P=.004) Based on this analysis, we present practical suggestions for the expansion of face-to-face & non-face-to-face convergence tea culture therapy programs to alleviate anxiety among elderly people who experience CORONA 19 pandemic anxiety.

  • In this study, the effects of concept mapping on the preservice elementary teachers' achievement, conceptual understanding, anxiety toward science, and science teaching efficacy belief were investigated in the undergraduate general chemistry course. The aptitude-treatment interaction (ATI) between preservice teachers' learning approach and concept mapping strategy was also investigated. Sixty-nine freshmen from a university of education were assigned to a control group and a treatment group. Tests regarding students' learning approach, anxiety toward science, and science teaching efficacy belief were administered as pretests. Treatment lasted for 9 weeks. In every class, students in the treatment group constructed concept maps, while those in the control group solved the problems of the textbook after the lecture. After the instructions, tests of achievement, conceptual understanding, anxiety toward science, and science teaching efficacy beliefs were administered. The results indicated that students in the treatment group significantly outperformed those of the control group in the achievement test. In the conceptual understanding and the science teaching efficacy beliefs, however, no statistically significant differences were found between two groups. Students of the treatment group showed significantly higher anxiety than their counterpart in the test of anxiety toward science. No aptitudetreatment interaction between students' learning approach and the concept mapping strategy was found.

For the investigation, a collected data for the research of 'adolescent's misbehaviors and tendency of their young average age and political subject' were used from SPSS 22.0 program and AMOS 22 statistical program provided by Korea youth and children's data archive. First of all, the research determines as the psychological anxiety gets higher, youth have lower self-esteem level and more behavior problems. In addition, when adolescents show stronger appearance-oriented attitude they have higher self-esteem level and more behavior problem. The study also indicates that as youths have higher self-esteem their behavior problem levels are reduced. Secondly, by examining the relationships of youth's psychological anxiety and appearance-oriented attitude based on their self-esteem, the self-esteem gives a positive mediated effect on psychological anxiety and behavior problem whereas the self-esteem affects as negative mediated effect on the appearance-oriented attitude and behavior problem. Lastly, the study indicates there is a causal interaction between youth's appearance-oriented attitude and behavior problem which differs by genders and different school classes. Based on the results of the research, the theoretical and practical applications were suggested to prevent and relax the adolescent's behavior problems.

For this study, a survey of 380 university students in the Seoul metropolitan area was conducted, and 336 data collected among them were analyzed as SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 23.0. According to the analysis results, social anxiety has a positive effect on the fake news acceptance attitude and the use degree of SNS, also the use degree of SNS has a positive effect on the fake news acceptance attitude. In addition, social anxiety has been confirmed to have a positive effect on fake news acceptance attitude through the use degree of SNS.
