OD Matrix Estimation from Traffic Counts Using Genetic Algorithm (유전알고리즘을 이용한 링크관측교통량으로부터의 기종점 통행행렬 추정)

  • 전통적인 OD조사에 의한 OD추정의 여러 문제점들로 인해 링크관측교통량과 기존OD를 결합해 OD를 추정하고자 하는 연구들이 제시되고 있다. Yang(1995)은 일반화최소자승법을 풀기 위한 IEA와 SAB 알고리즘을 제시하였다. 그러나 두 알고리즘의 문제점은 첫째 실제 OD를 알기가 어렵기 때문에 기존 OD를 중요한 추정기준으로 설정한다는 것으로, 이러한 추정의 종속성으로 인해, 기존 OD와 실제 OD의 차이가 큰 경우 정확한 해를 도출하지 못한다. 두 번째 문제는 통행패턴 추정시 선형근사화를 가정하기 때문에 게임이론적 측면에서 전제로 설정한 완전한 Stackelberg 상황을 구현하지 못한다는 것이다. 이러한 문제점을 피하기 위해서는 기존 OD나 관측교통량의 오차에 일관적인 해도출 기법이 필요하다. OD추정 문제는 본질적으로 비선형이고 비볼록하여 전역해 탐색기법이 필요하기 때문에 전역최적화가 가능한 유전알고리즘을 이용한 OD추정모형(GAM)을 개발하였다. 사례네트워크 분석결과, GAM은 기존 OD의 오차에 대해 크게 종속적이지 않으며 OD구조가 변하는 경우에도 추정이 가능하여, 일반적으로 실제 OD를 알 수 없는(기존OD의 오차가 어느 정도인지를 알 수 없는) 도시부 네트워크에서 신뢰성있는 추정력을 보였다. 또한 기존 OD 추정모형은 비교적 용이하게 차종별로 관측할 수 있는 링크교통량을 차종구분 없이 단일차종으로 이용함으로써, 정보의 손실을 초래하여 결과적으로 모형의 추정력을 저하시켰다. 그렇지만 다차종 링크관측교통량으로부터 다차종 OD 추정연구는 거의 없었으며, 그 결과가 단일차종에 대한 추정결과와 어떻게 다른지에 대한 연구도 전무하였다. 본 연구에서는 유전알고리즘을 이용한 OD 추정모형을 다수단 OD 추정모형(GAMUC)으로 확대하였다. 사례 분석 결과 단일차종 OD추정기법은 심각한 추정오류를 범할 수 있으며, 그 적용성도 낮다는 것을 보였다. 다차종 OD 추정기법이 단일차종 OD 추정기법보다 양호한 추정력을 보였으며, 다차종 기법 중에서는 GAMUC가 IEAMUC보다 우수한 추정력을 보였다.

Effect of Modification of Silver Nanoparticles on the Preparation of Poly(methyl methacrylate)/Silver Microspheres via Suspension Polymerization (현탁중합에 의한 폴리(메틸 메타크릴레이트)/은 미세입자 제조에 은 나노입자의 개질이 미치는 영향)

  • Effects of modification of silver nanoparticles on the polymerization rate and morphology of poly(methyl methacrylate)(PMMA)/silver microspheres prepared by suspension polymerization of MMA were investigated. The silver nanoparticles and their surface hydrophilicity played an important role in the polymerization rate and the morphology of poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA)/silver microspheres. The polymerization rate increased slightly with modified silver nanoparticles. PMMA/silver microspheres with conversion up to 85% were obtained in spite of the low polymerization temperature. Due to the change of hydrophilicity of silver nanoparticles, different appearances of the microspheres having golf ball-like convex surfaces or concave surfaces were observed. As the hydrophilicity of silver was decreased, stable nanocomposites were prepared.

Estimation of bubble size distribution using deep ensemble physics-informed neural network (딥앙상블 물리 정보 신경망을 이용한 기포 크기 분포 추정)

  • Physics-Informed Neural Network (PINN) is used to invert bubble size distributions from attenuation losses. By considering a linear system for the bubble population inversion, Adaptive Learned Iterative Shrinkage Thresholding Algorithm (Ada-LISTA), which has been solved linear systems in image processing, is used as a neural network architecture in PINN. Furthermore, a regularization based on the linear system is added to a loss function of PINN and it makes a PINN have better generalization by a solution satisfying the bubble physics. To evaluate an uncertainty of bubble estimation, deep ensemble is adopted. 20 Ada-LISTAs with different initial values are trained using the same training dataset. During test with attenuation losses different from those in the training dataset, the bubble size distribution and corresponding uncertainty are indicated by average and variance of 20 estimations, respectively. Deep ensemble Ada-LISTA demonstrate superior performance in inverting bubble size distributions than the conventional convex optimization solver of CVX.

  • The use of the autogenous free fat is a well-known procedure to fill in superficial depressions resulting from the traumatic or congenital defects. The major donor site for this procedure was the abdominal subcutaneous fat or buttocks. In 1977, Egyedi was the first to report the use of the buccal fat pad as a pedicled graft. The buccal fat pad is a structure usually considered to be a nuisance when encountered in intraoral procedures such as facial bone osteotomies, elevation of buccal falp, or procedures on Stensen's duct. In these operations, appearance of the buccal fat pad complicates surgical exposure. The buccal fat pad is a lobulated convex mass of fatty tissue covered by a very delicate membrane, and is described as having a body from which four processes extend. These projection serve as a filling material between the various muscular structures in the area. Recently malar depression was augmented with the pedicled buccal fat pad in 3 cases, and it was used for the reconstruction of the nasolabial fold in one case.

  • 에어컨용 냉매 압축기, 냉장고용 냉매압축기 및 자동차 샷시 부품들은 주로 겹치기 필릿용접을 GMAW 으로 실시하고 있다. 그러나 용접 시 스패터 발생으로 인한 추가공수가 요구되며 작업환경 또한 열악한 실정이다. 따라서 저가의 고생산이면서 용접비드의 외관이 미려하고 스패터, 소음 그리고 Fume 이 발생되지 않는 청정한 TIG 용접이 있지만, 용접속도가 수십 cpm 이하로 제한되어 생산성이 낮다는 기술적 모순을 가지고 있다. TIG 용접에서 생산성을 증가시키기 위해 모재와 와이어를 고속 용융 시키려면 전류를 높여 입열량을 증가시켜야 하지만, 증가된 전류로 인하여 상승된 아크력이 험핑비드와 언더컷이 발생되는 물리적 모순을 가진다. 또한 필러와이어를 사용한 기존의 TIG 용접에서 필러 와이어는 주로 원형 단면 와이어를 사용하게 되는데 와이어의 직경이 증가함에 따라 비표면적은 감소하여 용융효율이 낮아지므로 $\Phi$1.2 이하의 필러와이어를 송급하여 용접하였다. 그러나 요구되는 용착량이 큰 경우 필러 와이어를 고속으로 송급하게 되는데 이 경우 필러 와이어 용융이 곤란하거나 송급상의 문제가 자주 생겨 용접속도를 고속으로 하기 곤란하였다. 따라서 필러와이어를 사용한 TIG 용접에서 용착금속의 용융효율을 높게 함으로서 전류를 크게 증가시키지 않으면서도 용접속도를 높일 수 있는 용접 공정개발이 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 비표면적을 증가시켜 용착금속의 높은 용융효율을 얻을 수 있도록 개발된 와이어와 기존의 $\Phi$3.2 일반와이어 및 를 이용하여 BOP TIG 용접에 비교 실험하였으며, 개발된 와이어와 기존의 $\Phi$1.2 필러와이어를 이용하여 필릿용접부에 적용 실험하여 비교하였다. 그 결과 개발된 와이어의 경우 적절한 비드를 형성하였으나 3.2 일반와이어의 경우 과도한 볼록비드와 불용착부의 문제가 발생하였고, 필릿용접 비교실험에서는 각각 200cpm과 50cpm에서 적절한 비드가 형성되어 더 높은 용착금속 용융효율을 얻을 수 있었다.

Non-fragile robust guaranteed cost control for descriptor systems with parameter uncertainties (변수 불확실성 특이시스템의 비약성 강인 보장비용 제어)

  • In this paper, we consider the non-fragile robust guaranteed cost state feedback controllers design method for descriptor systems with parameter uncertainties and static state feedback controller with multiplicative uncertainty. The sufficient condition of controller existence, the design method of non-fragile robust guaranteed cost controller, the measure of non-fragility in controller, the upper bound of guaranteed cost performance measure to minimize the guaranteed cost are presented via LMI(linear matrix inequality) technique. Also, the sufficient condition can be rewritten as LMI form in terms of transformed variables through singular value decomposition, some changes of variables, and Schur complements. Therefore, the obtained non-fragile robust guaranteed cost controller satisfies the asymptotic stability and minimizes the guaranteed cost for the closed loop descriptor systems with parameter uncertainties and controller fragility. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the design method.

Stability Analysis of Concrete Plugs Using a 3-D Failure Criterion (3차원 파괴조건식을 이용한 콘크리트 플러그의 안전도 평가)

  • A new failure criterion for concrete, which takes into account the effect of the intermediate principal stress, is proposed. The new criterion, which takes the advantages from both the Mohr-Coulomb and the Willam-Warnke criteria, is linear in the meridian section, while its octahedral section is always smooth and convex. Fitting the triaxial compression data with the proposed criterion shows the high performance of the new criterion. A new formula for the factor of safety of concrete is defined based on the new failure criterion and it is employed in the stability analysis of the concrete plugs installed in the pilot plant. The new formula for the factor of safety measures the degree of closeness of a stress state to the failure surface in the octahedral plane. Finally, 3-D finite element analyses of pilot plant were carried out to obtain the stress distributions in the plugs. Then, the stress distributions are converted to those of factor of safety by use of the proposed formula. Based on the distribution of factor of safety in the concrete plugs, the stability of the tapered and wedge-shaped plugs is evaluated.

Development of non-fragile $H_{\infty}$ controller design algorithm for singular systems (특이시스템의 비약성 $H_{\infty}$ 제어기 설계 알고리듬 개발)

  • In this paper, we consider the synthesis of non-fragile $H_{\infty}$ state feedback controllers for singular systems and static state feedback controller with multiplicative uncertainty. The sufficient condition of controller existence, the design method of non-fragile $H_{\infty}$ controller, and the measure of non-fragility in controller are presented via LMI(linear matrix inequality) technique. Also, the sufficient condition can be rewritten as LMI form in terms of transformed variables through singular value decomposition, some changes of variables, and Schur complements. Therefore, the obtained non-fragile $H_{\infty}$ controller guarantees the asymptotic stability and disturbance attenuation of the closed loop singular systems within a prescribed degree. Moreover, the controller design method can be extended to the problem of robust and non-fragile $H_{\infty}$ controller design method for singular systems with parameter uncertainties. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the design method.

  • In this paper, we presents robust digital redesign (DR) method for observer-based linear time-invariant (LTI) system. The term of DR involves converting an analog controller into an equivalent digital one by considering two condition: state-matching and stability. The design problems viewed as a convex optimization problem that we minimize the error of the norm bounds between interpolated linear operators to be matched. Also, by using the bilinear and inverse bilinear approximation method, we analyzed the uncertain parts of given observer-based system more precisely, When a sampling period is sufficiently small, the conversion of a analog structured uncertain system to an equivalent discrete-time system have proper reason. Sufficiently conditions for the state-matching of the digitally controlled system are formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs).

  • This paper deals with the linear matrix inequality (LMI) design procedures for multi-objective Η$_2$$_{\infty}$ controllers with pole-placement constraints for an inverted pendulum system modeled as convex polytopes to ensure the stabilizing regulator and tracking performances. Polytopic models with multiple linear time-invariant models linearized at some operating points are derived to design controllers overcoming the conservativeness such as a controller may have when it is designed for a model linearized at a single operating point. Multi-objective controllers are designed for polytopic models by the LMT design technique with convex algorithms. It is observed that the inverted pendulum controlled by any controller designed for each polytopic model is stabilizingly restored to the vertical angle position for initial values of larger tilt anlges.
