A Study on the Mitigation of Information Security Avoid Behavior: From Goal Setting, Justice, Trust perspective (정보보안 회피행동 완화에 대한 연구: 정보보안 관련 목표설정, 공정성, 신뢰의 관점을 중심으로)

  • Globally, information protection of organization has become an essential management factor, and organizations continue to invest high-level resources for information security. Security threats from insiders are not decreasing. The purpose of this study is to present the antecedence factors to mitigate the role conflict that is the cause of the security avoid behavior. For the study, a survey was conducted for employees of organizations with information security policies, and structural equation modeling was conducted using a total of 383 samples for hypothesis verification. As a result of the analysis, role conflict increased avoid behavior, and goal difficulty, goal specificity, justice, and trust mitigated role conflict. In particular, justice influenced the reduction of role conflict and avoid behavior through trust. The implications were to present the causes and mitigation factors for avoid behavior of employee, and it is judged that it will help the organization to establish a security strategy.

독일의 eID 동향 및 기술 분석

  • eID는 여러 편의성을 제공하지만, 개인정보보호의 불확실성에 대한 우려로 활성화가 쉽지 않다는 단점이 있다. 이미 선진국에서는 eID의 도입을 추진해 왔으며 특히 EU에서 적극적으로 시도한 바 있다. 안전한 eID 시스템을 위해서는 개인정보보호 뿐 아니라 시스템 자체의 보안에 대한 고려도 동시에 이루어져야 한다. 보안성이 신뢰되지 않는다면, 개인정보보호에 대한 신뢰도 존재할 수 없을 것이다. 본 고에서는 EU에서도 특히 활발한 움직임을 보이고 있는 독일의 eID 현황 및 보안 메커니즘을 살펴본다. 그리고 안전한 eID 시스템 구성을 위한 보안 요구사항을 분석한다.

  • 전력계통의 안정성이 무너질 경우 정전의 발생으로 국가적인 경제적 손실과 더불어 사회적 혼란이 야기될 수 있다. 따라서 전력계통의 신뢰성 보장을 위해 국가 차원의 제도마련 및 운영이 필요하다. 이에 미국에서는 전력운용의 신뢰성 보장을 전담하는 기구를 통해 전력사의 전력계통 운영을 감시 및 감사함으로써 전력계통 신뢰도 보장에 힘쓰고 있다. 본 고에서는 전력계통의 신뢰성 침해의 다양한 원인 중 최근 큰 이슈가 되고 있는 사이버 보안 침해에 대응하기 위한 전력계통 신뢰도 관리 기구의 활동을 살펴보고, 국내에 전력신뢰도 관리기구 및 관련 관리체계 구축 시에 사이버 보안 측면에서 고려되어야할 사항들에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.

  • Mobile Agent is an autonomous mobility technology is being applied in various fields. In particular, mobile agents execution in the Internet environment through the safe execution of the security must be guaranteed. Also, agent to run the agent, the agent's workload should be distributed. In this paper, a trust model based on the security mechanism of the agent execution is proposed. Proposed mechanism to ensure safe execution of the agent was not considered in existing relative researches for rational agent workload distribution and load balancing to improve throughput was. The proposed trust-based security mechanisms for agents to go through security analysis proved safe execution of the agent.

  • As cyber security threats increase, there is a growing demand for highly reliable systems. Common Criteria, an international standard for evaluating information security products, requires formal specification and verification of the system to ensure a high level of security, and more and more cases are being observed. In this paper, we propose highly reliable drone systems that ensure high level security level and trust. Based on the results, we use formal methods especially Z/EVES to improve the system model in terms of scheduling in the system kernel.

  • 오늘날 전산 시스템 환경에서 보안 문제 해결을 위한 보안 메커니즘이 전 세계적으로 오랜 시간 다양하게 연구 개발되어 왔다. 하지만 이를 문서 보안에 효율적으로 활용하기 위한 기술 개발은 미흡한 실정이며 현재는 DRM 기술을 통해 문서 보안을 실현하고 있으나 효율성 및 안정성, 보안성에 있어서 여타 보안 서비스에 비해 크게 신뢰를 받지 못하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 PC 내 문서에 대한 보안 서비스를 제공하는 PC-DRM 시스템에서 사용자간 문서 전달 기능에 초점을 맞추어 효율성과 보안성을 강화하기 위한 방안을 제시하고 이를 적용하여 설계한 시스템을 소개한다. 제안 시스템은 기존 PC-DRM 의 서버 의존도를 낮춤과 동시에 사외 사용자에게 문서 전달 시에도 문서 기밀성 유지 및 우회적인 문서 내용 유출 방지가 가능하여 PC-DRM 에 대한 신뢰도 향상에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • We propose a correction security framework as next generation security technology to provide secure and reliable Internet services. The framework guarantees durability of the services in spite of external attack, intrusion, vulnerability for fault tolerance, and network management technology that covers the set of techniques aimed at providing rapid service recovery. The improvement technology includes system itself improvement and synamic improvement preventing faults from being re-activated, in cooperation with other systems such as vulnerability anaysis system, NMS, ESM. It is expected that our framework will be applied to global networks as well as system alone, and be able to guarantee the network survivability and reliable Internet services.

  • Smart cars, which incorporate information and communication technologies (ICT) to improve driving safety and convenience for drivers, have recently emerged. However, the increasing risk of automotive cybersecurity due to the vulnerability of electronic control units (ECUs) and automotive networks, which are essential for realizing the autonomous driving functions of smart cars, is a major obstacle to the widespread adoption of smart cars. Although there have been only a few real-world cases of smart car hacking, drivers' concerns about the security of smart cars can have a negative impact on their proliferation. Therefore, it is important to understand the risk factors perceived by drivers and the trust in smart cars formed through them in order to promote the future diffusion of smart cars. This study examines the risk factors that affect the formation of trust in smart cars, focusing on security and privacy, and analyzes how these factors affect safety perceptions and trust in smart cars.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the user's perception of security risk and examine its impact on the usage of Knowledge Management Systems(KMS). The findings of this study are three-fold. First, the overall user's perception of security risk is not high. However, there is a considerably big difference in the perception of security risk among users. This finding means that user's perception of a security risk is not based on the actual security effects but one's individual perception. Another finding is that user's perception of a security risk has a negative impact on the usage of KMS through "trust", which is a mediating variable in our study. This finding corresponds with the existing theory that security risk is oneof the critical sources of trust, and trust is a critical factor of user's acceptance of KMS. Finally, the result of this study reveals that activities devoted to security do not decrease the effectiveness and productivity of KMS. Our long-held cognition that security activity hinders the effectiveness and productivity of an information system is not particularly applied to the KMS.

RBAC-based Trust Negotiation Model for Grid Security (그리드 보안을 위한 역할 기반의 신뢰 협상 모델)

  • In this paper, we propose FAS model for establishing trust based on digital certificates in Grid security framework. The existing RBAC(Role Based Access Control) model is extended to provide permissions depending on the users‘ roles. The FAS model is designed for a system independent integrated Grid security by detailing and extending the fundamental architecture of user, role, and permission. FAS decides each user’s role, allocates access right, and publishes attribute certificate. FAS is composed of three modules: RDM, PCM, and CCM. The RDM decides roles of the user during trust negotiation process and improves the existing low level Grid security in which every single user maps a single shared local name. Both PCM and CCM confirm the capability of the user based on various policies that can restrict priority of the different user groups and roles. We have analyzed the FAS strategy with the complexity of the policy graph-based strategy. In particular, we focused on the algorithm for constructing the policy graph. As a result, the total running time was significantly reduced.
