  • $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS UHF RFID tag frontend is presented in this paper. Several key components are highlighted: the voltage multiplier based on the threshold voltage terminated circuit, the demodulator using current mode, and the clock generator. For standard compliance, all designed components are under the EPC Global Class-1 Generation-2 UHF RFID protocol. Backscatter modulation uses the pulse width modulation scheme. Overall performance of the proposed tag chip was verified with the evaluation board. Prototype Tag Chip dimension is neary 0.77mm2 ; According to the simulation results, the reader can successfully interrogate the tag within 1.5m. where the tag consumes the power about $71{\mu}W$.

  • This paper describes a charge sharing capacitive-sensing circuit technique that improves the quality of images captured with fingerprint sensor LSIs. When the finger is dry, the electrical resistance of a finger surface is high. It leads to poor image quality. To capture clear images even when the finger is dry, the modified capacitive detection circuit improves the image quality using an enhancement plate at the finger surface and a voltage control circuit. The test circuit is analyzed on $0.35{\mu}m$ CMOS process.

  • In order to solve problems of global warming, many policies and measures has been implemented in various countries. In January 2005, the European Union Emission Trading Scheme officially started. In order to take it into action, the EU ETS stated that all members must submit the national allocation plan including the national's total allowances, allowances for installations, reserve for new entrants, etc. In the process of this decision-making, it was also stated that problems related with early action should be solved by each member state at its option. This paper is a study on necessity of compensation for early action and its limitation of its practices. With a comparative study on dealing with early action in the key nations including Germany, the Netherlands and United Kingdom, we can get insights and strategies for effective processes of dealing with early action and the direction for harmonizing data collection and allocation rules.

Design of an OTA Improving Linearity with a Mobility Compensation Technique (이동도 보상 회로를 이용한 OTA의 선형성 개선)

  • This paper describes a new linear operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) and its application to the 9th-order Bessel filter. To improve the linearity of the OTA, we employ a mobility compensation technique. The combination of the triode and the subthreshold region transistors can compensate the mobility reduction effect and make the OTA with a good linearity. The proposed OTA shows $\pm$0.32% Gm variation over the input range of $\pm$0.8-V. The total harmonic distortion (THD) was lower than -60-㏈. The 9th-order Bessel filter has been designed using a 0.35-${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ n-well CMOS process under 3.3-V supply voltage. It shows the cutoff frequency of 8-MHz and the power consumption of 65-mW.

  • The bonding process should be achieved in vacuum environment to avoid air bubble. In this study, we studied about pressure uniformity that became an issue in thermo compression bonding usually. Uniform press is realized by the method that use air spring and metal form spring. The concept of uniform press using air spring is removed except pressing direction in the press processing so angle between the vector of pressure surface and the pressure axis is parallel automatically. Air spring compensate the errors of machining and assembly. Metal form compensate the thermal deformation and flatness error.

그래핀-탄소나노튜브 복합체로 제작한 유연성 투명 전도막의 반복 변형에 대한 내구성 향상

  • 유연성 투명 전도막은 현대 전자산업의 발전에 있어 필수적인 부품소재로서, 가시광선의 투과율이 80% 이상이고 면저항이 $100{\Omega}/sq.$ 전후이며 휘거나 접히고 나아가 두루마리의 형태로도 응용이 가능한 소재를 일컫는다. 이러한 유연성 투명 전도막은 차세대 정보디스플레이 산업 및 유비쿼터스 사회의 중심이 되는 유연성 디스플레이, 터치패널, 발광다이오드, 태양전지 등 매우 다양한 분야에 응용이 기대된다. 이러한 이유로 고 신뢰성 유연성 투명 전도막 개발기술은 차세대 산업에 있어서의 핵심기술로 인식되고 있다. 현재로서는 인듐 주석 산화물(indium tin oxide; ITO) 및 전도성 유기고분자를 사용하여 투명 전도막을 제조하고 있으나, ITO 박막의 경우 인듐 자원의 고갈로 인한 가격상승 및 기판과의 낮은 접착력, 열팽창계수의 차이로 인한 공정상의 문제, 산화물 특유의 취성으로 인한 유연소자로서의 내구성 저하 등의 문제가 제기되고 있다. 전도성 유기고분자의 경우는 낮은 전기전도도와 기계적강도, 유기용매 처리 등의 문제점이 지적되고 있다. 따라서 높은 전기전도도와 투광도 뿐만 아니라 유연성을 지니는 재료의 개발이 요구되고 있는 실정이다. 최근 이러한 재료로서 그래핀(graphene)과 탄소나노튜브(carbon nanotube; CNT)를 중심으로 하는 탄소나노재료가 주목받고 있으며 많은 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 열화학기상증착법(thermal vapor deposition; TCVD)으로 합성된 그래핀 및 CNT를 이용하여 탄소나노재료 복합체 기반의 유연성 투명 전도막을 제작하고 그 특성을 평가하였다. 그래핀과 CNT합성을 위한 기판으로는 각각 300 nm 두께의 니켈과 1 nm 철이 증착된 실리콘 웨이퍼를 이용하였으며, 원료가스로는 메탄(CH4)과 아세틸렌(C2H2)등의 탄화수소가스를 이용하였다. 그래핀의 경우 원료가스의 유량, 합성온도, 냉각속도를 변경하여 대면적으로 두께균일도가 높은 그래핀을 합성하였으며, CNT의 경우 합성시간을 변수로 길이 제어합성을 도모하였다. 합성된 그래핀은 식각공정을, CNT는 스프레이 증착공정을 통해 고분자 기판(polyethylene terephthalate; PET) 위에 순차적으로 전사 및 증착하여 탄소나노재료 복합체 기반의 유연성 투명 전도막을 제작하였다. 제작된 탄소나노재료 복합체 기반의 유연성 투명 전도막은 물리적 과부하를 받았을 때 발생할 수 있는 유연성 투명 전도막의 구조적결함에 기인하는 전도성 저하를 보상하는 특징이 있어, 그래핀과 탄소나노튜브 각각으로 제조된 유연성 투명 전도막보다 물리적인 하중이 반복적으로 인가되었을 때 내구성이 향상되는 효과가 있다. 40% 스트레인을 반복적으로 인가하였을 때 그래핀 투명 전도막은 20 사이클 이후에 면저항이 $1-2{\Omega}/sq.$에서 $15{\Omega}/sq.$ 이상으로 급증한 반면 그래핀-CNT 복합체 투명 전도막은 30사이클까지 $1-2{\Omega}/sq.$ 정도의 면저항을 유지하였다.

The Effect of Individual Factors and Job Environment Factors on Employees' Organizational Adaptability -Focused on Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprises Employees- (개인특성 및 직무환경이 구성원의 조직적응성에 미치는 영향 -수도권 중소기업체 종사자를 대상으로-)

  • This study analyzed the factors affecting organizational adaptation among the members of SMEs. Until now, research on organizational adaptation has been mainly conducted in large corporations or public institutions. Very little research has been conducted on SME members. Factors affecting the organizational adaptation of employees were set by individual factors and job environment factors. In the individual factors, the sub-variables were set as self-efficacy, optimism, and resilience, and in the job environment factors, organizational fairness and organizational culture. The sample data were surveyed using a survey method such as visit, telephone call, e-mail and fax. 98 data were used for the analysis. Statistical analysis was performed using regression analysis. As a result, self-efficacy, optimism, and resilience of individual factors were analyzed as positive variables for organizational adaptation of employees, and organizational fairness in the job environment was analyzed as variables that did not positively affect organizational adaptation of employees. However, the organizational culture of the job environment was analyzed as a variable that positively affects organizational adaptation of employees. These results showed that the fair application of wage level, workload, compensation, and opinion reflection did not affect the organizational adaptation of employees. On the other hand, in the preceding studies, organizational adaptability was conducted mainly in large corporations, but this study was able to suggest practical implications in analyzing organizational adaptability among SME members.

A study on a packet scheduler for wireless access networks (무선 가입자 액세스 망에서 QoS 패킷 스케줄러에 관한 연구)

  • Future communication networks would consist of wired and wireless access networks where there would be various types of traffic services. To meet the QoS requirements of those various traffic services simultaneously, new QoS control schemes are required. Since they are simple to deploy, cheep to manage, and easy to support subscriber mobility, wireless access networks are considered here. In this paper, a wireless joint buffer management and scheduling (W-JoBS) scheme, which is a modified version of the original JoBS algorithm at error-prone wireless access networks, is proposed. W-JoBS scheme is for providing service fairness among traffic classes with service compensation and channel-state dependent packet scheduling schemes. With computer simulation, this proposed W-JoBS scheme is evaluated and the performance of W-JoBS is compared with that of the original JoBS.

  • This paper describes the control of a geared DC motor having a backlash for implementation of a humanoid robot using disturbance observer. Critical problem of the humanoid robot is caused by the nonlinearity such as a backlash. To meet this problem, a control method using disturbance observer has been proposed. The disturbance observer is designed to estimate the effects of nonlinearities in the system, to make the nonlinear system behave linearly. To design the low-pass filter in the disturbance observer, cut-off frequency of the output should be found. The goal of this paper is the implementation of the proposed system, compensating the backlash effect. To accomplish the goat, PD control and disturbance observer are employed to the system with no load and full load. As a result, system stability can be guaranteed by compensating the effect of backlash. In addition, real experiment shows the proposed control methodology will satisfy the stable working of a humanoid type in the future.

Potential Influence of Expectation-Performance Dis-Confirmation and Perceived Justice for Service Recovery upon Fashion-Product Consumers' Satisfaction and Loyalty (서비스 회복에 대한 기대-성과 불일치와 지각된 공정성이 패션 상품 고객의 만족도 및 충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • Due to fierce competition, many domestic fashion businesses are suffering difficulty in securing and maintaining customers. Accordingly, fashion companies are devoting all their energy to secure customers by using high quality and diverse strategies for distribution and promotion, and to secure loyalty by satisfying customers with the offer of excellent service. Thus, it is very important to provide systematic service recovery strategy available for handling service failure effectively. Therefore, the purpose of this study is comprehensively analyzing influences of expectation dis-confirmation and perceived justice for service recovery upon consumers' satisfaction and loyalty. The findings are as follows. First, as for the service failure that customers experienced, the more consumers who expect it to be recovered led to the higher formation of expectation-compensation dis-confirmation. Second, it was indicated that the higher seriousness in service failure that customers experienced led to the lower satisfaction and loyalty to service recovery. Third, as a result of examining influence of expectation-compensation dis-confirmation for service-failure recovery upon consumer satisfaction and loyalty, the customers who showed more positive dis-confirmation to expectation-compensation were indicated to form the more satisfaction and loyalty. Fourth, as a result of examining the influence of the perceived justice in the process of service-failure recovery upon customer satisfaction, all in 3 dimensions of justice had effect on customer satisfaction.
