Many studies indicate the emerging crisis of education of calculus even though the emphasis of calculus have been widely recognized. In our classrooms, the education of calculus also has been faced with its bounds. Most instructions of calculus is too much emphasis on the algebraic approach, thus students solve mathematical problems without truly understanding the underlying concept. The purpose of this study is to develop mathematization teaching and learning materials and methods in caculus based on the mathematization teaching and learning theories by Freudenthal and the variability principles of conceptual learning by Dienes, In order to this purpose, first, we analyzed the high school mathematics II textbook of 7th curriculum in Korea. Second, we developed mathematization teaching and learning materials and methods in highschool calculus. Consequently, the following conclusions have been drawn: we have reorganized and reconstructed the context problem in calculus based on concepts of tangent line and instantaneous rate of change.

The purpose of this study is to qualitatively analyze the perceptions of aesthetic values of working women taking ballet fitness classes and to find ways to properly establish ballet fitness classes according to the opinions of the study participants. Participants in the study were 9 working women taking ballet fitness classes at local educational institutions, and FGI (Focus Group Interview) was conducted, and the interview was conducted based on a semi-structured questionnaire. Subsequently, the categorization content was derived through expert review and peer review. As a result, first, the study participants expressed their dissatisfaction, hoping that the ballet fitness class helped improve their daily enjoyment and pain, and even watched ballet performance with interest. Second, the participants of the study were actively publicizing the benefits of ballet fitness classes to their families and nearby acquaintances, and hoped that this exercise would help improve the difficult image of ballet. Based on this study, ballet fitness classes were expected to be sufficiently established as a hobby exercise for working women.

This study was to investigate novice teachers' Specialized Content Knowledge for Teaching in High School Calculus Lessons. The lessons of two novice teachers in Kyunggi Do were observed from July, 2011 to Feb. 2012. All observed lessons were audeotaped and transcribed into word files. Their calculus lessons were analyzed into three kinds of knowledge consisting of SCKT. Their SCKT just copied the contents of the textbook and other additional SCKT were not found for teaching. Even though students asked a question that they did not understand, the teacher just repeated the previous contents that already he used. But this study included possible contents of SCKT within the areas these teachers covered so that teachers in school may use for teaching of Calculus. The novice teacher do not have sufficient experience, the program of the college of education and the contents of the teacher certificate-examination should include multi-dimensional approaches in SCKT to pre-service teachers in order to raise better specialized teachers in mathematics.

Few colleges offer remedial basic math courses for college freshmen who have not passed math placement tests or whose scholastic aptitude test score in mathematics is low. This research is aiming for the curriculum development of basic college mathematics and its effective implementation. First, an in depth statistical analysis on the basic math courses for universities in Seoul area has been done. Second, diagnostic test and longitudinal study have been carried out for one institute. Based on these, basic concepts and areas critical for the success of Calculus course are extracted. Standards and contents for the remedial math courses are suggested.

"2002년 학술진흥재단 대학교육과정개발연구"의 성균관대학교의 9과제 중 하나로 3분야인 "신규교과목 또는 교수학습 방법개발" 과제로 대학에서의 "수학강좌의 효과적인 교수-학습 모델 개발 연구 (선형대수학, 미적분학, 이산수학을 중심으로)" 내용과 그 부산물인 콘텐츠를 소개하고, 이를 효과적으로 이용하기 위하여 개발한 새로운 강의 환경과 교수법을 소개한다. 이어서 현재 국내외에서 활발히 연구가 시작되고 있는 "대학에서의 수학교육" 내용을 소개한 후 대학에서 개발되고 검증된 이런 교수법과 교육환경이 중등학교의 수학 교육 현장에 주는 의미에 대하여 논의한다.

수학이 자연과학의 기초 또는 기본으로 여겨지듯이, 수학에서도 기초가 되는 강좌들이 있다. 미적분학이나 집합론, 그리고 선형대수학은 그러한 강좌라고 할 수 있다. 대수학의 관점에서 볼 때, 선형대수학은 현대대수학을 이해하기 위한 기본바탕이 되고, 한편 수학 전체적으로 보더라도, 선형대수학은 다른 고등수학을 배우기 위한 필수적인 선수과목을 것이고, 그 자체로서도 많은 응용성을 지니고 있다. 뿐만 아니라 선형대수학은 중등 교육과정과도 밀접한 관련이 있으므로, 교샤양성 대학에서의 선형대수학 강좌를 통해 학생들은 교육과정상의 연계성까지 이해하여야 한다. 따라서 본 연구는 사범대학 학생들로 하여금, 선형대수학 그 자체의 순수한 측면과, 중등교육과의 긴밀한 관련성, 아울러 기하락, 미분방정식, 그리고 부호이론과 관련된 최신 정보수학의 응용적인 측면도 포함하여 선형대수학의 폭넓은 이해를 꾀하는 방안을 제시한다.

The negative influence by disaster on human's life could be so tremendous. I like to give attention to the disaster, considerable many cases, that disaster was used as stimulation or motivation for artist's creativity, especially in the film among various art activities. The reason I focus on disaster through art activities is disaster is closely related to human's daily life and also aesthetic consciousness. I like to look into the flood disasters' appearances described in the both films, and and the people's aesthetic consciousness expressed from the flood disasters. In the traditional education of the East. 'cultivation' has been used as the meaning of self education which develops mostly one's personality by doing self practice, and self insight meditation. And In the modern western education, cultivation has been identified as the meaning of unique mission, that each human being expresses one's own individuality, that is personality, progressively. I think 'the aesthetic ' already immanence in human's mind. Analysis for The beauty of Kant is also starts from special nature, delightfulness. The aesthetic doesn't appears in sight easely because it always exists in one's bottom of heart like mist. That's the reason we try to reach to the aesthetic through the medium, that's art. Human can achieve aesthetic cultivation which reaches to the aesthetic by having lot of events and experiences in the process.

This study describes the impact of early childhood teacher's artistic competence on art education pedagogy and improved curriculum design. Furthermore, the effect of drama as a way of improving early childhood teacher's artistic competence is explained. Many researchers have mentioned that early childhood is a period of sensitivity and potential. Therefore, it will be helpful if children meet a teacher who understands them and inspires their innate artistic sense at a level of their eyes. It explained which aspect of artistic competence should be focused for the teacher training education. There are many approaches to develop early childhood teachers' artistic competence. Adopting drama is one of them. The strong points of drama to improve their artistic competence are as follows. Firstly, human's movement and voice are the main artistic channel in drama. What we are doing in daily life is found are drama world. It means if early childhood teachers experience drama activity, they will feel more comfortable and intimate with it. In addition, early childhood teachers tend to be familiar with dramatic play, so they can more easily access to drama world. Secondly, drama will be helpful to understand different feelings and to broaden and deepen understandings of others' standpoints. For early childhood teachers, drama activity will be helpful to understand how dramatic art form works and to lead children's play in diversified and sincere way. In addition, drama activity will be useful to build horizontal and democratic relationships between children and the teacher. It is one of the main emphases of 2019 revised Nori national curriculum. To sum up, drama will be a excellent method to develop artistic competence for early childhood teachers. Thus, it is expected that They have more opportunities to experience drama as an art form.

In this paper, we utilize student survey, scholastic level assessment and class evaluation in order to address the problems and find out the improvements on operating the subjects in the university-level program(UP), focusing on the Calculus I. We also propose effective management strategies and learning methods for the UP classes consisting of excellent high school students.

This study explores the characteristics of calculus students' and instructors' discourses on the derivative using a communicational approach to cognition. The data were collected from surveys, classroom observations, and interviews. The results show that the instructors did not explicitly address some aspects of the derivative such as the relationship between the derivative function (f'(x)) and the derivative at a point (f'(a)), and f'(x) as a function, and that students incorrectly described or used these aspects for problem solving. It is also found that both implicitness in the instructors' discourse, and students' incorrect descriptions were closely related to their use of the word, "derivative" without specifying it as "the derivative function" or "the derivative at a point." Comparison between instructors' and students' discourses suggests that explicit discussion about the derivative including exact use of terms will help students see the relationship that f'(a) is a number, a point-specific value of f'(x) that is a function, and overcome their mixed and incorrect notion "the derivative" such as the tangent line at a point.
