The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effect of academic self-efficacy in the process that nursing students' task value affects class participation. The subjects of this study were 161 second-year students of the Department of Nursing at K University located in G city, and the data collection period was from October 5 to October 14, 2020. The mediating effect of academic self-efficacy in the relationship between task value and class participation was analyzed using Baron and Kenny's 3-step mediating effect verification procedure using simple and multiple regression analysis and the statistical significance of mediating effects was verified by the Sobel test. As a result of this study, task value and academic self-efficacy were major factors influencing class participation, and academic self-efficacy was found to be a significant partial mediating variable in the relationship between task value and class participation. These factors explained 55% of class participation. In order to increase learners' class participation, an integrated approach that can improve task value and academic self-efficacy is needed.

The aim of this study is to examine the effect of teaching profession class using gamification on the academic self-efficacy and learning flow of pre-service early childhood teachers. 75 freshmen in the 2022 Early Childhood Education Department at A University located in Gyeonggi were participated and experienced 8 gamification-using classes over 12 weeks of 1 st semester. To examine the effectiveness of the class using gamification on academic self-efficacy and learning flow, a paired t-test for the pre-post test was conducted by analyzing the data of 65 students who faithfully answered both tests. Results of this study illustrated teaching profession class using gamification significantly improved the academic self-efficacy and its sub-factor, confidence of pre-service early childhood teachers, moreover, it also had a positive effect on learning flow and its sub-factor, cognitive learning flow of them. This study proved the effectiveness of the gamification-using class and provided subsequent studies for improving the quality of the gamification-using class.

The purpose of this study is to analyze Korean college students' perceptions of interactions and senses of community, among students, and instructors and students as they took face-to-face classes by the time students and instructors came back to the classroom. Forty-nine college students participated in the study, and all of them had experienced non-face-to-face classes during the last two years from 2020 through 2021. They responded to the revised Rovai (2002)'s Classroom Community Scale (CCS), and the data were analyzed using a frequency analysis. The findings of data analysis showed that the students positively perceived the class contents and teaching formats of face-to-face classes, in terms of understanding and concentration on the class. On the other hand, it was found out that the students would still need more time for being familiar with face-to-face classes, and their affective variables of the educational environment should be considered.

This study aimed to identify the efficiency of online non-face-to-face English classes to propose possibilities for expanding these types of classes in a sustainable way even in the post-COVID era. Moreover, the study suggests pedagogical implications for the directions that should be further explored for online non-face-to-face English classes. To this end, the study employed an online non-face-to-face English reading class using Zoom and investigated the effects of online teaching on college students' reading comprehension via two achievement tests. The study also analyzed learners' satisfaction or dissatisfaction with this online non-face-to-face English reading class (and their reasons) through a questionnaire. Ultimately, the study found that online non-face-to-face English reading classes have a positive effect on learners' reading comprehension learning. In addition, the reasons for learners' satisfaction with online non-face-to-face classes include systematic class progress, class quality, and efficiency of learning. Instructors must be aware of the need to expand online non-face-to-face classes, for which they will have to be thoroughly prepared in advance. Instructors will also need to implement efficient online class activities, organize classes systematically with detailed explanations, and provide quick and useful feedback.

The purpose of this study is to propose an effective class of College English, one of the essential liberal arts subjects of S University, and to analyze the learning effect. This subject targets students with different majors in the first grade, and the learning goal is to improve their reading skills by analyzing students' English skills, especially sentences, as grammatical elements in everyday situations. This thesis examines how College English classes can be conducted in the form of convergence class in the COVID-19 era to induce students' learning motivation and create learning effects. The form of this convergence class is as follows. First, lecture videos, second, Webex real-time non-face-to-face classes, and third, face-to-face classes. In this study, the class procedure of the first class among the classes that were actually conducted during the semester was presented as an example. The researcher specifically surveyed the pre-class questionnaire and conducted the class by grasping the students' English skills and characteristics of the learners through the results. And after taking the course, the questionnaire was surveyed into 30 items and the results were analyzed. Specifically, the results of satisfaction with the composition of the lecture, satisfaction with the lecture video, satisfaction with the face-to-face class, interaction with students, and learning effects were analyzed. This class proposal is a learner-centered model in the form of convergence.

We investigated middle school students' awareness of Han-style(Korean cuture) in order to promote it, and developed and applied the Teaching-Learning Lesson Plan according to the traditional clothing culture contents related to Han Style. We selected 5 major fields representing Han Style including Han-gul(Korean alphabet). Han-sik(Korean food). Han-bok(Korean traditional clothes). Han-ji(Korean traditional paper), and Han-ok(Korean traditional house). We analyzed the contents of the food, clothing and shelter in 6 types of high school testbooks under the revised 7th national curriculum, and chose seven traditional clothing-lifestyle culture contents. Also we developed 14-period processes and materials(9 for teachers. 9 for students and 3 for and applied it to usual classes. The mean score of middle school students' awareness of Han Style in the post-test was significantly higher than that in the pre-test. Students evaluated it positively that the classes could raise the pride on the Han-culture and provoke the interest in it through the direct experiencing activities. We suggest that the various themes on Han-style should be developed, and the theoretical classes on the identity as well as the experiencing activities on it.

This study examined traditional dance programs in cultural and arts education in local children's centers. We aimed to contribute to the voluntary and active participation of children in cultural and arts education through differentiated cultural and arts educational programs. Interviews were conducted from March 2016- June, 2016 at A Regional Children's Center in Chungnam. Once a week, a 50-minute were held 16 Session as "learning traditional joyful dance". After completing the program, 25 children who participated in the program were asked about the good points and disappointments regarding the program. The interviews used open, structured questions that have been primarily used in phenomenological research. The list of questions was prepared in advance according to the research purpose. The results of the study are as follows: The evaluation of the first program was generally positive. By experiencing activities through cultural and arts education through traditional dance programs for children, children learned to be polite. It also changed positively in conversation. Children who showed negative attitudes toward traditional dance programs gradually participated in activities. Second, I examined the evaluation of lecturers who teach traditional dance. The children's response to the program was positive, with sincere and responsible lecture preparation and progress. The instructor prepared the class in advance, welcomed the children and ran the class in good faith. Instructors who taught traditional dances were proficient in dance, majored in dance and teaching children. The learning effect was high by the instruction of the good dance movement. Rich in lecture experience, he is proficient in dealing with children in class. Material was delivered according to the child's dance level.

This study is the field of mathematics education on the assumption that they can extend outside the classroom. Recent mathematics education is increasing the importance of field experience and various activities based on real-life math education. Thus, it is necessary to consider this situation in pre-service teacher's education. The purpose of this study is to apply the 'Mathematics Field Trips Activities' in the pre-mathematics teacher education. So the specific case of 'Mathematics Field Trips Activities' was analyzed. Mathematics teachers conducted preliminary exploration activities on the historical cultural property which were effective in the following four aspects. First, cognitive effects and second, definitive effect. Third, cultural-mathematical effect. Fourth, the effect on improving math class. Finally they were summarized and divided into classes target content knowledge and teaching knowledge both sides. As a result, the 'Mathematics Field Trips Activities' were found to have significant effects on pre-service math teacher. Finally, ongoing research is needed to settle into a new teaching and learning methods.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the structural relationship between the use of a web medium and learning commitment to develop creative talent for higher media integrated Korean classical literature education. For this we used DBs of The 'Encyclopedia of Korean Local Culture(a local culture DB)' built by the Academy of Korean Studies, and a survey was conducted on 418 high school students, attending a classical literature class which used a local culture DB. The result of this study demonstrates media usefulness of local culture DBs' positive effect on learning commitment. Specifically, media richness and media experience affects the learning commitment through the medium usefulness. These results indicate that in order to encourage learner's medium experience and increase medium richness it is necessary to increase the utilization of mediums, such as local culture DBs.
