한국데이터베이스진흥센터가 주관하는 2004년 제1차 공공기관 우수 데이터베이스(DB) 시상식이 지난달 20일 한국관광공사빌딩 지하 강당에서 개최됐다. 지난해 통계∙기상∙기업∙법률∙특허 등 5개 분야 DB 10종을 우수DB로 선정한 한국데이터베이스진흥센터는 올해 공공기관 DB를 대상으로 우수DB 6종을 선정했다. 이번에 선정된 공공기관 우수DB 6종은 재정경제부, 문화관광부, 산업자원부, 건설교통부와 산하 공 공기관에서 운영하고 있는 데이터베이스 가운데 건설교통, 경제산업, 문화예술 등 3개 분야에서 품질이 우수한 각 2종씩의 DB가 선정됐다. 건설∙교통 분야에서는 한국도로공사의‘로드플러스’와 건설교통부의‘건설교통종합정보센터’가 선정됐고, 경제∙산업 분야에서는 조달청의‘나라장터’와 한국은행의‘경제통계시스템’, 문화∙예술 분야에서는 한국관광공사의‘Visit Korea’와 문화재청의‘국가문화유산종합정보서비스’가 선정됐다. 한국데이터베이스진흥센터는 올 11월경 정보통신, 교육학술, 과학기술분야를 대상으로 제2차 우수 DB를 선정할 계획이며, 자세한 내용은 데이터베이스품질평가센터(www.dbq.or.kr)에서 소개하고 있다.

For the correct settlement of 'drama' subject mentioned as a new art subject within school education of Korea, this paper deals with the relevant contents by using German drama education equipped with the systematic educational system in the world as an objective model. First, analyzing the historical correlations between German school and drama education, this paper refers to the settlement process of drama education in German school after the enforcement of educational reform policy in Germany of 2009, and also the direction and characteristics of drama class. Such a research background contains the objectives to directly/indirectly verify the suitability of drama education for the suggestion of convergence(integrated) education and increase of creativity required for the current Korean school education, and also to be helpful to the establishment of institutional directions for Korean culture & art education in the future.

This case study examines the experiences of an African American student's successful second language acquisition in Korea. There is an increasing number of multicultural families in Korea; but few research on African American students' second language learning. In the past, some American researchers have analyzed African American students as academic underachievers for learning and there is a scarcity of research on African American students' successfully acquiring a second language. With this qualitative research design, the researchers interviewed, and observed an African American girl named Mary. The researchers also interviewed Mary's mother, teacher, and peers about Mary's Korean language development. The results of this study revealed Mary's determined efforts to become a fluent Korean speaker with support from family, community and friends. Mary underwent unique social and systematic supports for her language development. This paper concludes with the educational implication for multicultural language learners in Korea and the possibility to diminish the common stereotypes of African Americans as underachievers.

Many enterprises make use of 'mecenat action' for positive image ensuring to company and harmony within organization members. Also, at the same time the research has continued estimating of efficiency about that area. but that estimations get accomplished inclusive and abstractive, and then estimation of significant effect isn't sufficient. In this study we consider that many enterprises practice culture and art education program, and related that analyze the estimation of effect in 'mecenat action'. Stand on this analysis we attempts to extract factor, having representation character with making standard for estimation of education effect. That is a implication that relation education programs are prepared many enterprises, In future study, we will need to make standard and select methods about effect estimation, add measurable index that reliability can increase.

This thesis is a result of studying the combination of text and image based on the achievement of LTP (Literacy Through Photography), a communication education program for young people. This paper presents the LTP program that emphasizes communication functions of images and introduces the results of education conducted to improve the ability of visual communication for adolescents. Adolescents's creative images are analyzed on the basis of three categories of anchors, ealais and illustrations. The questionnaire was a quantitative survey of communication conducted before and after the LTP training. As a result, LTP education showed higher achievement in communication with adolescents when using images than text. In conclusion, this study gives meaning to image utilization education for creativity enhancement and present it as a new education by examining the LTP works and questionnaires of adolescents from communication point of LTP.

This study investigates the influence of school cultures, specifically culture of teachers' collaboration, principals' leadership, students' peer relation, on school satisfaction of school members such as students, parents, teachers, and principals. To achieve the goal, this study analyzed the data from the survey for the Seoul education longitudinal analysis during 2010 and 2011, and conducted the following statistical meth5ods: descriptive statistics, correlation, and multiple regression. There were significant effects of students' peer relations and culture of teachers' collaboration on students' and parents' school satisfaction. This study found two implications. Culture of teachers' collaboration is the common factor to effect students' parents', and teachers' school satisfaction. Overall, this study attempted to review school satisfaction and school culture at the same time from students', parents', teachers', and principals' perspectives, even though previous literature on school satisfaction has generally focused on each groups' perspective separately.

This study was aimed at investigating relationship between global health nursing competency and multicultural acceptance of nursing students. The subjects were 145 nursing students from a university, and data were collected from June 8 to 19, 2020. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and regression. The subjects' global health nursing competency was 2.81±1.11 points (four-point scale) and multicultural acceptance was 3.84±0.68 points (six-point scale). Global health nursing competency differed according to gender and degree of preparation as a global nurse, and multicultural acceptance differed according to gender, multicultural education experience, and degree of preparation as a global nurse. Global health nursing competency had a positive correlation with multicultural acceptance (r=.18, p=.027), and it was showed that multicultural acceptance affected global health nursing competency (B=.29, p=.027). To be prepared as a global nurse, it is necessary to enhance the global citizen insight about multicultural experiences.

We can say that there are several majors in the course of cartoon education of college; cartoon, manpyung, 4 panel comic strips, editorial cartoon, webtoon and so on. Among them, this study starts with concrete question; "How can we encourage students to understand 4 panel comic strips better in the educational course of 4 panel comic strips?" 4 panel comic strips divided into two groups, depending on the materials. The first is daily cartoon which depicts the emotion in daily life. The second is editorial cartoon which deals with the problems of society in the ironical and witty way. Judging from my own thoughts that it would be better in the understanding and analysis of structures to take editorial cartoon in which materials are confined to social problems, this study treats rhetoric expression and structures of 4 panel comic strips. Introduction, development, turn and conclusion of "Jangdori" on Kyunghyangsinmoon are good materials for this study. So, "Jangdori" is in the center of this study. The objective of this study is to provide knowledge in creating 4 panel comic strips with the understanding the area of 4 panel comic strips through the analysis of the rhetoric expression and structures of this field. Even though this study has a limit, no access to daily 4 panel comic strips, I hope that this study would be a little help in any places in which the education of 4 panel comic strips is needed as a part of a course of cartoon in college.

In order to improve executive ability in response to need of job ability in cultural content industry and in connection with industrial scene, it is required to develop curriculum for department of broadcasting, entertainment and acting First of all, environmental analysis of cultural content industry, survey on industry demand, survey on demand by enrolled students and graduated students, survey on demand by local community were made and conducted to draw job competency for acting art. In addition, the existing curriculum was analyzed through evaluation by field experts, enrolled students, and graduated students. Based on the analysis results, major curriculum was developed for department of broadcasting, entertainment and acting. Such curriculum development enables providing acting education that focuses on core competency to maximize education effect and cultivating actor who is suitable for the age of multimedia based on local infrastructure. Moreover, the curriculum development helps cultivating versatile actor, rather than famous actor.

Humanities-collaborated practices in various fields have been supported by several governmental policies as a way to overcome recent social problems. Museum, due to its roles in preserving and sharing cultural and historical heritage for the development of society and communities, has emerged as a key base for the humanities-collaborated practices. This study, in this context, aimed to analyze how the humanities-based museum education programs have been practiced in the museums, which, in turn, might provide a basic data for the future direction and development of the programs and the related governmental policy as well. For this purpose, this study first examined theoretical framework for the link between humanities and museum education, from which a survey was developed. The survey was conducted to 75 museum educators who have been in charge of humanities-based educational programs. The result showed that most programs seemed to reflect the basic direction and purpose of the humanities-linked with museum education. Yet, more needs were found in terms of the educational themes and methods which can facilitate multicultural literacy and reflective thinking and activities within experiential learning environments.
