  • We identified the mediating role of interpersonal issues in the relationship between adult attachment type and emotional expression ambivalence. The subjects of the study were 327 emotional workers who lived in five cities. As the scale, ECR-R, AEQ-K, and IIP were used. Sobel verification was performed after multiple regression analysis. The results show that the interpersonal problem partially mediates between the attachment and emotional expression ambivalence. This suggests that the characteristics of interpersonal relationships affect emotional emotions in forming close attachment relationships of emotional workers. Subsequent research will expand the scope of research by supplementing the shortcomings of existing research.

Participants included 155 nurses from four hospitals located in D city. Data was collected from July 29 to August 19, 2022 using a self-report questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficient and Baron and Kenny's three-step hierarchical regression using the SPSS 22.0 program. In this study, it was found that there was a significant positive correlation between the nurse's grit, job embeddedness, and work-life balance, and it was confirmed that work-life balance partially mediated the relationship between grit and job embeddedness. Therefore, it is suggested that grit and work-life balance should be improved in order to improve the job embeddedness of nurses.

The participants in this study were 272 beauty workers in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, and data were collected through a structured questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation, structural equation model, and mediation effect analysis using bootstrapping method using SPSS and AMOS 26.0 statistical programs. The conclusions drawn through a series of research procedures are as follows. First, beauty workers' presenteeism was found to have a statistically significant positive (+) effect on job burnout. Second, beauty workers' presenteeism showed a statistically significant positive (+) effect on turnover intention, but no significant relationship was found with job performance. • This study examined the factors that influence creative performance in corporate collaboration projects. Specifically to facilitate team collaboration, we identified that scaffolding, which is one of the important factors in organizational learning communication, and the Boundary Objects, which are collaboration tools & vehicle, influence performance. The survey was collected for 203 employees who experienced collaborative projects, and three-step mediated regression analysis was conducted after conducting exploratory factor analysis. In other words, we examined the median effect of boundary objects on the impact of scaffolding on creative collaborative performance. Analysis showed that while the effects of the boundary objects in relation to the impact of cognitive scaffolding on creative performance were not significant, emotional scaffolding had a full-scale effect on the creative performance and also had a full-scale effect on the efficacy performance. Given these results, it is necessary to share a vision and form personal relationships among team members in order to activate them, since scaffolding is useful in organizational learning and boundary objects also have some effect as a medium for promoting collaboration in projects.

  • This purpose of this study is to examine how emotional intelligence has a moderating effect on the relationship between emotional labor and job burnout. To test the hypotheses, moderation analysis, mediation analysis and moderated mediation analysis were performed. Of the 1,500 self-report questionnaires distributed to franchise employees, 1,412 usable responses and utilized in the final analyses. The resoults show that emotional labor significantly affected job burnout, and job burnout completely mediated the effect of emotional labor on turnover intention. And emotional intelligence moderated the relationship between emotional labor and job burnout, suggesting that the emotional dissonance-job burnout relationship was stronger in the low emotional intelligence group than in the high emotional intelligence group. The results of this study provide some implications for Korean companies entering the Chinese franchise field. First, the mediating effects of "emotional labor → job burnout → turnover intention" and the effect of emotional labor on job burnout were mitigated by self-efficacy in Chinese franchise workers. And the self-efficacy of the employees was an important factor. The implication of this study is that self-efficacy, which is a controlling variable affecting emotional labor, job burnout, and turnover intention, is important, so Korean companies that enter the Chinese franchise employ employees with high self-efficacy and to develop and implement an employee education program that can enhance self-efficacy.

  • This study explored how the family-friendly culture of married employees is related to family strength and verified the mediating effects of work-life balance in such a relationship. The study included 213 married employees aged from their 20s to their 60s. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 18.0, and the Baron and Kenny (1986) method was used to perform descriptive statistics, difference verification, regression analysis, and mediation analysis. The results of the analysis were as follows. First, the differences between the general characteristics of married employees and family strength were analyzed. Among the general characteristics, married employees in their 60s were found to have a higher level of family strength compared with other married employees in their 40s-50s and 20s-30s. Furthermore, married employees with higher education (higher than college or graduate school education), with supporters, with a household income of more than 6.01 million KRW, and with positions higher than middle management were found to have higher levels of family strength compared with their counterparts in each case. Second, hierarchical regression was performed to analyze the factors affecting family strength; the younger the age, the higher the level of family-friendly culture and work-life balance, and the higher the level of family strength of married employees. Third, according to Baron and Kenny's(1986) mediation analysis, the balance between work and life had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between a family-friendly culture and family strength. Therefore, a family-friendly culture and work-life balance were verified to be important factors that can serve as alternatives for improving the family strength of married employees.

  • This study, to confirm the mediating effect of knee pain on cognitive functions and depression in older adults, and as an interdisciplinary research between the physical and psychological mechanisms, confirmed the identifying group differences by gender, age, and educational attainment of older adults, and aimed to research the improvement of cognitive functions, which is a main factor of dementia's risk prediction. The analysis data was from the 8th Korean Longitudinal Study of Ageing (KLoSA) in 2020, and the research model was verified using Process macro and model #4. The main analysis results are as follows. First, depression partially mediation effect of knee pain on cognitive functions. Second, the mediation effect of depression by gender was significant, but the direct effect in the male older adults group was twice that in the female older adults; the indirect effect did not vary significantly based on gender. Third, the mediating effect of depression by age was relatively greater in the old-old aged group than in the young-old aged one. Fourth, as for the mediating effect of depression according to the classification of educational attainment, the mediating effect was not significant in the group with a college degree or higher education but was significant in the remaining three sub-groups. Based on the results, this study makes implications for the need for active intervention strategies to improve cognitive functions, focusing on group differences by gender, age, and educational attainment in the management of knee pain and depression.
