본 연구에서는 UCC 동영상을 활용한 수업이 미국문화 이해도에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 이를 위해 7차 영어과 교육과정 목표를 참고하여 5학년 학생들 발달 단계에 맞는 미국문화 내용을 선정하고, 알맞은 UCC 동영상을 선별하여 UCC활용형 지식체험교수학습 모형을 개발하였다. 개발된 교수 학습과정안을 적용하여 초등학교 5학년을 실험집단과 통제집단으로 나누어 13차시 수업을 실시하였다. 실험 결과 UCC동영상을 활용하여 수업한 실험집단 평균 M=25.15(SD=3.02), 통제집단평균 M=24.09(SD=3.84)로서 실험집단이 통제집단보다 평균에서 더 높은 결과를 나타내었고, 이는 t=2.458(p=.017)로 p<.05 수준에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 UCC 동영상을 활용한 미국문화 교육이 기존의 수업 방법보다 초등학생들의 미국문화 이해도 향상에 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다

This paper is a research to know how to influence english lessons in a elementary school, when the class uses both video UCC and PPT to understand for an american culture and english lessons. We study 68 students in the 5th grader for 5 months. The results of the experiment research are as follows. Students of an experiment group show the advanced increase than a control group in understanding. We measure the degree of interesting about English lesson. The motive and interest in english lessons of an experiment group show the developed result. We put a question the experiment group on their opinion in video UCC utility. The experimental group answer the ratio of very positive opinion in usefulness and interest.

This study analyzes the effects of text and image presenting methods in video lectures on students' learning flow, learning satisfaction and learning outcomes. The text presenting methods include forming short sentences of 2 or 3 words or using key words, while image presenting methods include images featuring both detailed and related information as well as images containing only related information. 167 first year students from Xingtai University were selected as experimental participants. Groups of participants were randomly assigned to engage in four types of video. The research results are as follows. First, it was found that learning flow, learning satisfaction and learning outcomes of group presented with video forms of short sentences had higher statistical significance compared to the group experiencing the key word method. Second, learning flow, learning satisfaction and learning outcomes of group presented with video forms of only related information had higher statistical significance compared to the group experiencing the presenting method of both detailed and related information. That is, the mean values of dependent variables for groups of short form text and only related information were highest. In contrast, the mean values of dependent variables for groups of key words and both detailed and related information were the lowest.

As the paradigm of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is expanding, VR devices and their contents industry are drawing more and more attention as the digital devices of the next generation. Of the realms of VR contents, $360^{\circ}$ 3D videos are receiving the most attention in the field of media, and they are being utilized by Google as educational contents. As such, this research analyzes actual condition of use and motivation of using corresponding contents through survey of $360^{\circ}$ 3D video users. Results show that the most utilized platform is Youtube, and the genres which the respondents have used or are willing to use turned out to be Games and Movies.

This study aims to evaluate the effect on the academic achievement and satisfaction of the learner's prior knowledge level and segmenting time of video lectures in an learning environment using smartphones. Depending on the level of prior knowledge, learners were divided into two groups of the upper 35% and the lower 35%. Each group was offered video lectures by a 5-min, 10-min, 15-min, and 20-min length. As a result, a high level of prior knowledge only had a positive effect on the academic achievement. With respect to the segmentation time of video lectures, 10-min, 15-min lectures were effective to the academic achievement and 15-min, 20-min lectures influenced positively the learners' satisfaction. Moreover, the interaction between the level of learners' prior knowledge and the segmentation time of video lectures only had an impact on their academic achievement. The results of the simple effect analysis conducted to examine the effect of interaction carefully show that 15-min, 20-min video lectures are more effective for the upper 35% in prior knowledge and 10-min ones are better for its' lower 35%. In a nutshell, these findings suggest that the high-prior knowledge groups could be provided with a longer video lectures, and furthermore, 5-min video lectures are not adequate in a mobile learning environment with smartphones.

YouTube has rapidly grown as a news media outlet. As political content without fact-checking is actively provided and YouTube algorithms are used for content recommendations, users are selectively exposed to certain political ideologies, which could escalate conflicts among political groups. In particular, the stronger the identification of in-group, the greater the antipathy toward outgroup, and the more exposed the content to the parties that support or oppose it, the stronger the identification or the antipathy can be. This study investigated the relationship between selective exposure and political attitude polarization in the context of political video on YouTube. Based on social identity theory, this study also found that political identification mediates the relationship between selective exposure and political attitude polarization.

The purpose of this study is to analyze and compare the effectiveness of elementary in e-Learning video lessons. In an elementary school where the educational videos are frequently used, the learning about video materials is important but it is difficult to judge all students by a teacher in a classroom. In order to solve the problems of the field, In the fifth-grade elementary school social studies class, learning using video material was conducted by using the online learning judgment system for the experimental group, and learning using video material was conducted by the traditional method for the controlled group. As a result of the experiment, the class using the online learning judgment system was effective in enhancing the learner 's academic achievement. It also positively influenced learners' learning satisfaction. Teachers' satisfaction was not statistically significant because of the small number of teachers. However, The mean value of the teachers' satisfaction in the experimental group was high and the deviation was small.

The research analyzes data on housing(apartments) value and educational level(45$\sim$59 aged) in Seoul. The results of the research show that: since the economic crisis of 1997 out of which Korea was rescued by the IMF, it is evident that the spatial process of increasing residential segregation and the regional differentiation of housing price are inextricably interrelated. Through time-series analysis for the education level by the administrative unit of Dong in Seoul, already in 1990 the residential segregation by the educational groups was observed, it is acknowledged that this residential segregation has been reproduced continuously. The rate of residence of the highly educated groups in an administrative Dong is closely related to the variation of the housing value within the Dongs. The housing value in the period 1997$\sim$2003 has risen sharply in the regions where highly educated groups are spatially concentrated. That of other regions have stagnated or have risen marginally thus, the regional differences of the housing value have greatly increased. The differentiation of housing price reflects the residential segregation.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the learning effects of video demonstration in a multitude of video screens in a science class. To examine this, an experiment from the first year science textbook was chosen, which looked at the relationship between electrical voltage and electrical current. Three experimental groups were used for the purpose of this study: 1/ a control group which used experimental still photos during a traditional class. 2/ experimental group A which used videos in a single screen, and 3/ experimental group B which used a multitude of video screens to demonstrate their effects. Post test learning effects was then carried out on each group related to the units. The results showed an improvement in grade for all groups. Experimental group B showed the most significant result, followed by the experimental group A. The control group showed the least significant grade improvement. In conclusion, the study revealed that the utilization of video demonstration in a science class is very useful and can be adapted in different forms in class. To enhance the effects of the learning method in conveying efficient meaning, versatile methods should be used to stimulate and heighten students' interests by mixing still photographs and video demonstration with various screen composition with the help of information technology.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects on the academic achievement and learning satisfaction according to the presentation method of the multimedia materials for 'transportation technology' units of technology home economics subject. The subjects were assigned in third conditions; Text type explanation class, multimedia class and multimedia video class with narration. The data of six evaluation questions obtained from the survey of 93 high school girl were analyzed using SPSS program. The results of the study were as follows : First, in the learning satisfaction average level(M) of the students' overall responses to the questions, multimedia teaching learning class(experimental group 1) is the first(M=4.14), multimedia video class with narration(experimental group 2) is the second(M=3.16), and instructor-led class(control group) is the third (M=2.63). Therefore, the teaching learning multimedia class(experimental group 1) was most effective. Second, looking at the correlations between the students' responses to the questions, in an interesting class, the students have a retentive memory and comprehension, but a lower concentration can not a retentive memory. Third, multimedia teaching learning class(experimental group 1) has the best degree at the level of academic achievement, but instructor-led class(control group) and multimedia video class with narration(experimental group 2) have similar degree in the second place. To increase academic achievement, an instructor-led class is important to arouse interest and a multimedia video class with narration is required ways to improve level of concentration.
