대형 냉장고 도어 힌지의 최적 설계 (Optimization of Door Hinges of a Large Refrigerator)

  • 대형냉장고의 도어 힌지는 냉장고 도어의 개폐 동작을 원활하게 하고, 도어의 하중과 도어개폐로 인한 충격을 견디는 구조 안전성이 요구된다. 하지만, 도어 힌지는 복잡한 힌지 메커니즘과 민감한 구조 안전성으로 인해 설계 시 어려움이 많다. 본 논문에서는 스프링 응답 특성, 공간제약, 구조강도 성능을 만족하는 메커니즘을 설계하고, 메커니즘을 둘러싼 외부 프레임의 부피를 최소화하여 힌지의 생산 단가를 절감하고자 한다. 이를 위해 PIDO(progress integration and design optimization) 기술을 이용하여 모든 설계절차를 자동화함으로써 설계의 효율성을 높이는 성과를 거두었으며, 최적화 결과 목표로 하는 힌지 메커니즘 성능과 구조안정성을 개선하면서 힌지 프레임 질량의 24%를 절감하였다.

  • In this study, the hinges of heavy weight doors were designed and analyzed in line with the trend that built-in appliances are becoming larger and the weight of doors is also increasing. The main specification of the heavy weight door hinge is to allow the deflection at the end of the door to be less than 2 mm when opening and closing, including the automatic closing, slow closing, and closing force control functions. The structural analysis of the design mechanism, component design, and methods for improving the deflection are as follows: 1) Mechanism of the automatic closing function should sense automatically using the spring compression force at a specific angle by the contact between the cam and the cam module roller. 2) Through structural analysis, the maximum stress of the door was found in the link pin hole connected to the pin at each link. 3) Consequently, the pin holder was designed and applied, with little variance, but up to 93% of the specification limit.

대형차량의 프레스타입 도어힌지 적용을 위한 최적화 연구 (The Optimization of the Press-type Door Hinge of the Full-sized Car)

  • The Door hinge is a very important part for door sagging performance of a vehicle. It is divided into two classes as a forge- and press-type according to a manufacturing technique. The press-type door hinge is cheap, but shows low strength. To apply the press-type door hinge to a fullsized car with satisfactory door sagging performance, we optimized the design parameters of the door hinge using the DFSS method. As a result, the effective design parameters of the press-type door hinge with good door sagging performance were obtained.

  • This study analyzed the structural weld strength for a door hinge for a field artillery ammunition support vehicle. In order to determine the optimal conditions, we measured the modal analysis and analyzed the leg length of a rear door hinge. From these methods, we acquired the vibration frequency of normal mode and the optimal welding leg length conditions. It was possible to obtain a structural stability for a rear door hinge of the field artillery ammunition support vehicle. In the future, this should be used as a reference source for the weld strength analysis of high vibration and high weight structures for another welding system design.

자동차 도어 힌지의 구조해석 (Structural Analysis on Door Hinge of Car)

  • The thickness of original hinge model is changed for structural stability in this study. The front end with the largest deformation of 9.8813 mm or the rear middle part with the largest equivalent stress of 6082.6 MPa is respectively shown at door hinge. The lower part of joint pin head with the largest deformation of 0.17499 mm and the largest equivalent stress of 1540.2 MPa are shown. The advanced model with more thickness and stability is shown to have smaller displacement in half and smaller equivalent stress by 3 times by comparing with the original model.

제연구역 출입문의 최적 설계를 위한 도어클로저의 기준 산정에 관한 연구 (Study on the Assessment of the Criteria on a Door Closer for the Optimum Design of the Access Door of a Smoke Control Zone)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 제연구역 출입문의 최적 설계를 위한 플로어힌지(floor-hinge) 및 도어클로저(door closer)의 기준을 제시하는데 있다. 차압에 대한 개방력은 60 Pa일 때 60.75 N, 40 Pa일 때 40.5 N, 32.5 Pa일 때 32.91 N, 12.5 Pa일 때 12.66 N 등이다. KS F 2806의 기준을 적용한 플로어힌지 및 도어클로저의 개방력은 No.1은 27.5 N, No. 2는 40 N, No. 3는 75 N, No. 4는 100 N, No. 5는 125 N 등이다. 차압과 플로어힌지 및 도어클로저의 개방력을 NFSC 501A의 개방력 제한값과 비교한 결과 기준을 초과하는 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 NFSC 501A 차압과 방연 풍속을 설계에 반영하는 것뿐만 아니라 개방력도 설계에 반영할 필요가 있다. 제연댐퍼의 종류에 따라 출입문의 플로어힌지 및 도어클로저의 설치 조건은 호칭에 따라 다르다. 저차압용의 경우는 No. 1, No. 2, No. 3의 설치가 가능하며, 일반 차압용의 경우에는 No. 1, No. 2의 설치가 가능하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 일반적으로 문틀과 문짝을 연결하여 개폐시 작동하는 부품인 힌지의 가속수명시험법에 대한 연구이다. 힌지는 사용하는 용도에 따라 구조와 고장모드가 상이하며 본 연구에서는 전자파 차폐시설에 사용되는 개폐장치 구성품 중 하나인 힌지에 대해서 고장모드를 분석하고 현장작동조건에서의 이론적 검증과 시험장비에 대한 타당성을 분석하였다. 그리고 형상모수와 가속지수의 추정을 통한 특성수명 예측을 위한 가속수명시험법을 설계하였다.

  • The door stiffness is one of the important factors side impact. Generally, the researches have been conducted on the assembled door module. This study is to analysis the side impact characteristics for automotives door module. The impact characteristics have been determined by door module side impact test machine. To determine the initial, intermediate and peak crush resistances use the plot of load versus displacement and obtain the integral of the applied load with respect to the crush distances specified below for each door tested. The initial crush resistance is the average force required to deform the door through the initial 6 inches of crush. The intermediate crush resistance is the average force required to deform the door through the initial 12 inches of crush. The peak crush resistance will be directly obtained from the plot of load versus displacement since it is the largest force required to deform the door through the entire 18 inches crush distance. The data are used to determine if a specific vehicle or item of automotives equipment meets the minimum performance requirements of the subject Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard(FMVSS). FMVSS Static 214, Side impact protection, specifies performance requirements for protection of occupants in side impact crashes.

냉장고 도어 개방력 개선을 위한 힌지 스토퍼의 형상설계 (Shape Design of Hinge Stopper to Improve Refrigerator Door Opening Force)

  • In this study, the shape design optimization of a refrigerator door hinge stopper was performed to reduce the discrepancy in the opening forces of the left and right doors of a double-door refrigerator. A finite element model was constructed and analyzed by quasi-static analyses to evaluate the structural performance of the door hinge stopper. The reaction moment calculated at the hinge axis was used as a measure of the door opening and closing forces. The design objective is to increase the door opening force by 50% while maintaining the door closing force and the maximum stress calculated in the body of the hinge stopper at the current level. A new design concept with a contacting slot was proposed to decouple the door closing and opening forces. Shape optimization was performed to determine the dimensions of the new design of the hinge stopper, and the rib pattern was determined by topological optimization to further increase the door opening force. It was observed that the new design met all design requirements.
