The purpose of this study was to synthesize the effects of the information literacy instruction using meta-analysis. Results using random-effect models were as follows. First, the overall average effect size (ES) of information literacy instruction (Hedges'g) was 0.72, which could be interpreted based on Cohen's guidelines as moderate to large. Second, the two types of information literacy instruction, demonstrating more than medium ESs, did not show significant differences in their ESs. Third, the ESs of information literacy instruction differed depending on the measuring variables. Fourth, grade, study design and the form of the measurement tool were moderator variables that explain the differences in ESs. In sum, the effects of information literacy instruction, having more than medium effect size, seem quite stable across instruction types and study designs.

The types of information literacy in school library is classified into usage instruction of school library, reading education, instructional development o4 courseware with school library and integrated instruction of collaboration with school librarian and teacher. A measure of scholastic achievement on information literacy varies in each school. The cause is rely on the absence of librarians who teach information literacy and lack of understanding on the role of school library in information literacy. Nevertheless, we know that the program based on subject teacher is successful in terms of the effectiveness of the program. It demonstrate that if information literacy will be considered as important course in the curriculum for school librarian, the effectiveness of information literacy can be enhanced dramatically. For the purpose some strategies are required. The purpose of this study is to develop educational strategies and models by applying future-oriented elements of libraries, which are transitioning into integrated spaces through collaboration with archives and museums, into school library education. This study focuses on the changes where libraries expand their spaces and roles in response to the trends of a pluralistic society. The term 'Larchiveum' was established to represent a knowledge and culture complex space. The concepts and functions of this term were identified, and the characteristics of materials collected and managed by archives, museums, and art galleries, as well as domestic and international educational information services, were analyzed to explore ways to integrate them into school library education. Based on the ASSURE instructional design model, which emphasizes the effective selection and use of teaching and learning media, this study developed Larchiveum strategies, including 'Inquiry-based Information Utilization,' 'Curriculum Integration and Convergence,' 'Collaboration, Sharing, and Dissemination,' and 'Digital Archive,' and structured the educational content accordingly. The procedures and steps were refined through the evaluation and feedback of field experts, leading to the development of a collaborative educational model that incorporates Larchiveum strategies, resources, and inquiry-based instruction.

The purpose of this research is to identify critical factors for facilitating school library reading programs and to develop guidelines for school library development. For this. relevant studies including several school library case studies were reviewed and analyzed. Also a survey was conducted for school library personnel. The survey findings showed that there was still lack of consensus on defining school library reading programs or school library use programs. Moreover, it is also found that in most cases school libraries neither have professional school librarians nor provide appropriate training to them. As a result it is recommended that for developing effective reading programs, school libraries need to fix the current problems and try to develop collection development plans for supporting reading programs, in cooperation with classroom teachers to develop library reading programs as a part of the curriculum. and ultimately with local public libraries.

The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics of school library services using the RGT (repertory grid technique), and to examine whether there are differences in the perceptions and internal experiences of school library services between human resources (librarian teachers, subject teachers, and librarians). I used indicators such as element intensity, construct extremity, discrepant constructs, and implicative dilemmas to analyze the characteristics of school library services. The elements of the repertory grid were set to 9, and 14 constructs were set through focus group interviews with 3 librarian-teachers. The GRIDCOR 6.0, which can be accessed online, was used to complete the repertory grid for 30 graduate students of the College of Education, and 6 of them were selected and analyzed, considering the demographic characteristics. From the perspective of element intensity, it was found that the following school library services are important and influential: resource management, teacher-librarian collaboration, and reading and information counseling services. The clarity of one's role, the actual performance, and self-regulatory ability were ranked high from the perspective of constructs intensity.
