A Case Study of Artificial Intelligence Education for Graduate School of Education (교육 대학원에서의 인공지능 교육 사례)

  • This study is a case study of artificial intelligence education subjects in the graduate school of education. The main educational contents consisted of understanding and practice of machine learning, data analysis, actual artificial intelligence using Entries, artificial intelligence and physical computing. As a result of the survey on the educational effect after the application of the curriculum, it was found that the students preferred the use of the Entry AI block and the use of the Blacksmith board as a physical computing tool as the priority applied to the elementary education field. In addition, the data analysis area is effective in linking math data and graph education. As a physical computing tool, Husky Lens is useful for scalability by using image processing functions for self-driving car maker education. Suggestions for desirable AI education include training courses by level and reinforcement of data collection and analysis education.

  • Simulation means modeling structures or behaviors of the various objects, and experimenting them on the computer system. And the major approaches are DEVS(Discrete Event Systems Specification). Petri-net or Automata and so on. But, the simulation problems are getting more complex or complicated these days, so that an intelligent agent-based is being studied. In this paper, we are describing an intelligent agent-based simulation tool, which can supports the simulation experiment more efficiently. The significances of our system can be described as follows. First, the system can provide some AI algorithms through the system libraries. Second, the system supports simple method of designing the simulation model, since it's been built under the Finite State Machine (FSM) structure. And finally, the system acts as a simulation framework by supporting user not only the simulation engine, but also user-friendly tools, such as modeler scriptor and simulator. The system mainly consists of main simulation engine, utility tools, and some other assist tools, and it is tested and showed some efficient results in the three different problems.

  • There are concerns that the recent surge in multicultural families and the continuation of non-face-to-face education, such as remote classes caused by COVID-19, are causing educational gaps among lower grades in elementary school. In particular, the importance of reading, writing and listening to our language should be established in lower grades of elementary school. Therefore, the research has recently developed contents that can enhance understanding by utilizing highly interested artificial intelligence tools and provide interesting Korean language education through play. In the future, there will be various attempts for artificial intelligence tools to be used in lower-grade elementary school education.

  • Artificial intelligence (AI) technology is rapidly spreading across various industries. Accordingly, interest in ethical issues arising from the use of AI is also increasing. This is particularly true in the healthcare sector, where AI-related ethical issues are a significant topic due to its focus on health and life. Hence, this issue aims to examine the ethical concerns when using AI tools during research and publication processes. One of the key concerns is the potential for unintended plagiarism when researchers use AI tools for tasks such as translation, citation, and editing. Currently, as AI is not given authorship, the researcher is held accountable for any ethical problems arising from using AI tools. Researchers are advised to specify which AI tools were used and how they were employed in their research papers. As more cases of ethical issues related to AI tools accumulate, it is expected that various guidelines will be developed. Therefore, researchers should stay informed about global consensus and guidelines regarding the use of AI tools in the research and publication process.

  • 본 논문에서는 설명가능한 머신러닝 모델과 관련된 다양한 도구를 활용해보고, 최근 각광받는 주제인 신뢰성에 대해서도 고찰해보았다. 근래의 인공지능 모델은 설명력을 덧붙여 정보 장벽을 낮추는 방향으로 진화하고 있다. 이에 따라 AI 모형이 제공하는 정보량이 늘고 사용자 진화적 인 방식으로 바뀌면서 사용자층이 확대되고 있는 추세이다. 또한 데이터 분석 분야의 영향력이 높아지고 연구 주체들이 다양해지면서, 해당 모델이나 데이터에 관한 신뢰성을 확보해야한다는 요구가 많아지고 있다. 이에 많은 연구자들이 인공지능 모델의 신뢰성의 확보를 위해 노력하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 노력의 발자취를 따라가보면서 인공지능의 설명가능성에 관하여 소개하려고 한다. 그 과정에서 민감한 데이터를 다루어보면서 신뢰성 활보의 필요성에 대해서도 논의해보려고 한다.

  • 최근 인공지능과 데이터 과학이 거의 모든 산업분야에서 많은 변화를 불러오고 있으며, 이를 지원하는 많은 라이브러리와 도구들이 이에 도움을 주고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 실제 인공지능과 데이터 과학 기술을 실제 산업 분야에 적용하려면 많은 어려움이 있는 것이 사실이고 이는 해양 분야에서 더욱 두드러진다. 이에 해양안전 및 기업지원을 목표로 개발 중인 오픈플랫폼은 일반적인 인공지능 및 데이터 과학을 위한 시스템과 달리 여러 가지 해양특화 모듈들로 구성된다. 그리고 이러한 해양특화 기능들이 해양안전 분야의 기업들에 기여할 수 있도록 해양특화 데이터와 인공지능 모델 등을 상호간 공유하고 의견을 나눌 수 있는 공간으로 개발해 나갈 계획이다.

  • AI 기술이 성장하면서 AI 기술의 중요성은 더욱더 커지고 있다. 따라서 미래 인공지능 시대를 선도해 나갈 인재 유아, 초.중등 교육이 매우 중요하게 되었지만 아이들이 인공지능을 쉽게 접할 수 있는 서비스는 아직 부족하다. 아이들이 쉽게 사용할 수 있는 인공지능 서비스를 개발한다면 본격적인 인공지능 교육 시대가 도래하기에 앞서, 인공지능에 친숙해 질 수 있으며 창의력 향상에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다. 이에 따라 'AI 동화책 생성 시스템' 을 기획하고 개발하였다.

A Pilot Study of English Learners' Perception on Writing Activities using AI-Based DALL-E2 (인공지능 기반 DALL-E2 활용 쓰기 활동에 대한 영어학습자들의 인식 조사)

  • The purpose of this pilot study is to examine the responses of middle school students to English learning after conducting English writing activities using DALL-E2, an image-generating artificial intelligence tool. To this end, an experimental class was conducted for 3 weeks for 15 middle school English learners, and the results are summarized as follows. First, as a result of a survey on English writing activities using DALL-E2, it was found that confidence, interest, and awareness of writing using artificial intelligence-based tools changed positively. In addition, it was confirmed that there was a statistically significant difference, which meant that learning using artificial intelligence had a positive effect on English writing and overall English learning. Second, as a result of analyzing the English writing activities using DALL-E2, core themes could be extracted into three (cognitive, affective, and psychodynamic characteristics), and the use and implementation of artificial intelligence-based DALL-E2 in English learning showed potential to increase learning interest, challenge, will, and desire in learning and ultimately contribute to enhancing productive skill.

  • This study was carried out for the purpose of Exploring the types of AI platforms for creative activities and how to use them. In order to learn AI in the fields of art creation and music creation, which are representative areas of creative activity, types of AI platforms that can experience AI and perform simple programming were investigated. In addition, the utilization plan was presented so that each AI platform can be used to express students' ideas abundantly and to enhance their creativity. Through this, it is meaningful to suggest that the AI platform can be used as a teaching aid to enhance students' expressive power and creativity in creative activities.

  • 본 논문에서는 AIoT를 위한 비주얼 블록 코딩 도구를 설계하였다. AI 블록 코딩이 가능한 EduB 플랫폼에 피지컬 컴퓨팅을 가능하게 하는 모듈을 추가함으로써 블록을 사용한 쉬운 피지컬컴퓨팅 코딩과 AIoT 코딩이 가능하다. 도구는 WebSocket과 Wifi를 사용해 EduB와 타겟보드인 RaspberryPi의 무선 통신을 하며, 블록으로 생성된 코드를 RaspberryPi 내부에서 실행하여 GPIO와 SenseHAT을 제어할 수 있게 하였다. 따라서, 코딩 결과를 콘솔 출력이나 그래프로만 확인할 수 있어 정적이던 AI 교육을 LED나 모터를 제어해 동적으로 결과를 확인할 수 있게 하여 흥미와 관심을 유발할 수 있도록 한다.
