  • This study aims to investigate the degree of influence of LMS on online classes conducted after COVID-19 at C University in Gyeongsangnam-do, and to examine the relationship between overall class satisfaction and LMS satisfaction variables. C University started the project to construct 'Next-generation Smart LMS' and operated it from the first semester of 2021. As a result of conducting a survey about overall class satisfaction and LMS satisfaction consisting of five variables with 140 learners who have experienced online classes at C University. The learners showed high satisfaction not only in overall classes but also LMS. As a result of regression analysis of LMS satisfaction and overall class satisfaction, it was found that the functional convenience of LMS and interaction with instructors had a significant effect on overall class satisfaction. • The college liberal arts mathematics is opened as a required course in science and engineering field, but students with low achievement experience difficulty in learning. Therefore, flip learning, which is well known as an effective teaching method based on self-led and learner, is suggested as an alternative. However, some problems are pointed out in this pedagogy. As an alternative to flip learning, we apply flip PBL classes that apply PBL to flip learning to general math subjects to supplement the problems of existing flip learning classes and increase interest in mathematics I want to know the effectiveness of whether it can be done. In this study, we investigated the educational effectiveness of the comparison study between the experimental group applying flip PBL class and the control group applying the existing flip learning class. First, the experimental group showed higher than the control group by 22 points Second, in the reflection journal analysis, in contrast to the control group, there was a positive effect on the improvement of the interest of the mathematics in the experimental group, It is expected that it will be applied as a teaching method that can complement the learning.

  • As society changes rapidly, the role and status of general education has produced many changes, and accordingly, it is forming a close relationship with various social and cultural environments around the school. Especially, the direction in which general education should proceed and the development of regional-linked general education models have been actively studied at a time when the relationship between local regions and universities is getting strong. In this study, we have provided significant policy implications related to the development and application of future university-local cooperation models by developing a subject of community service activities based learning (CSAL) to get closer to community service and by analyzing actual educational cases and applying them to real community service organizations. In addition, we closely collaborated with local volunteer organizations operated by this local government system to connect with local community service, and through this, we reviewed actual cooperative classes with a local university and local volunteer organizations for the class curriculum, and developed a model to activate the university-local educational ecosystem.

As a college English subject, 50-60 minutes of online classes were conducted for one semester where TED talks were used, and the data collected by conducting a survey on learners' English learning motivation, interest, attitude, satisfaction, and learning effect were analyzed utilized SMART PLS 3. The results are as follows. First, English learning motivation had a statistically significant effect on learning attitude while it did not affect the learning satisfaction. Second, the level of interest in the TED Talk-using class had a positive effect on the learning attitude and satisfaction. Third, the learning attitude positively affected the learning effect perception. Fourth, satisfaction with the TED Talk class had a positive effect on the learning effect perception. In conclusion, English classes using TED talk can increase the interest and satisfaction of learners, and induce active class participation, which lead to a positive perception in learners' learning effects. Therefore, this study implies that TED talks are valuable and significant enough as materials in college English classes.

  • This study aims to suggest more efficient ways of teaching English more related to but distinct from major English, based on the needs and awareness of the students of English Education Department. For this, interviews and surveys have been carried out targeting some English Education majors. The results show that the satisfaction level of students is relatively low, marking around the score '3'. While the satisfaction level about classroom environment including the multi-media equipment, and professors' teaching ability, quality and methods is higher compared with other factors, the improvement of English skills and interest-causing levels are lower on average. Besides, this study also includes the surveys on the needs of students for various teaching programs, differentiated classes and qualified instructors. Based on the results, this study makes three suggestions as follows; (1) the opening of some specific English classes for English-education majors (2) the development of English-conversation classes related to English-education majors (3) the development of communication-centered English reading based on English literature.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relations and analyze the mediation effect that exists between the feedback types by professors of university physical education and self-efficacy and sports continuance. The sampling method was used to survey physical education university students from three different universities located in the Greater Seoul Metropolitan Area. 309 samples were ultimately selected as valid samples. Data processing was carried out by using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. The fidelity of the whole model was assessed through this process and then the theory was tested. The results were as follows. Firstly, if the perceived feedbacks by the professor were complimentary/encouragement and performance knowledge/positive nonverbal feedbacks it had a positive effect. Negative nonverbal perceived feedback had a negative effect forecast. Secondly, complimentary/encouragement perceived feedbacks by the professor did not have a meaningful impact on sports continuance index. Performance knowledge/positive nonverbal feedback resulted in static effect while negative nonverbal feedback had a negative effect. Lastly, self-efficacy served a meaningful mediation role in the relation between negative nonverbal feedback by the professor and sports continuance.

The reason for this is that most international students enter university but they are lack of liberal arts knowledge such as Korean language skills and foundation studies necessary for their major studies. However, most universities focus on teaching Korean language as a liberal arts course for international students. Therefore It suggests that the most important and urgent required is for international students to improve their liberal arts knowledge as well as their Korean language skills. Furthermore, this paper argues order for international students who do not have enough liberal arts such as Korean language proficiency or basic science to study successfully, a systematic liberal arts curriculum and teaching methods for international students should be presented and applied in the field. • The study presented an online class case focusing on G University's writing course, and analyzed students' satisfaction. Through this, it aimed to analyze the possibility of online education and to explore efficient operation of online writing lectures. According to the result of looking into the online writing class run by G University, students' satisfaction with the online writing class was high. Despite the limited circumstances, students' participation in the class was high and they also actively participated in online correction. However, there was also a challenge to address. Online writing education showed limitations in terms of smooth communication with students. Correction of writing can be done online sufficiently but the limitations of communication should be supplemented to improve the completeness of interactive education. In addition, most of the students participated in online correction, but some did not participate. It is necessary to encourage students to participate voluntarily to make online classes take roots. After all, for the effective operation of online writing classes, strategies and systems for teaching and learning should be prepared for utilization of various educational video media, sufficient learning of theory and practice of writing, and smooth communication between professors and students. Only when these conditions are met, online writing classes will be able to operate steadily.
