Personality types were evaluated using Enneagram, and coping behavior was evaluated using the Korean Coping Behavior Scale for Parents of Children and Adolescents with Disabilities As a result of the study, the belly type was the most common personality type of mothers with disabilities. As for coping behavior, active problem-solving for children with disabilities showed the highest score. As a result of analyzing the coping behavior according to the personality type of mothers of children with disabilities, there were significant differences in the coping behavior, strengthening marital cooperation, and pursuing social-emotional support. As a result of post-verification, there were significant differences between heart type and belly type in coping behavior, strengthening marital cooperation, and pursuing social-emotional support, and heart type scored higher than belly type. When conducting interventions for families of disabled children, it will be possible to provide more effective services by predicting coping behaviors according to the personality type of mothers of disabled children and presenting individualized programs.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between self-directed learning readiness, stress coping, and academic resilience among freshman nursing students, and investigate the impact of self-directed learning readiness and stress coping on academic resilience. Data were collected from March 15 to March 26, 2022, using 205 questionnaires that were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 25.0. The results showed that the average self-directed learning readiness score of the participants was 2.61, the average stress coping score was 2.14, and the average academic resilience score was 2.36. Academic resilience was found to be positively correlated with self-directed learning readiness (r=.573, p<.001), problem-focused coping (r=.305, p<.001), seeks social support coping (r=.321, p<.001), and hopeful thought coping (r=.344, p<.001). The variables that affected academic resilience were self-directed learning readiness (β=.498, p<.001), seeks social support coping (β=.203, p=.001), and major satisfaction (β=.117, p=0.034), and these variables explained 44.8% of the variance in academic resilience. Therefore, to enhance academic resilience among nursing students, it is necessary to develop programs that improve self-directed learning readiness and promote active stress coping strategies.
The purpose of this study was to improve the understanding of stress coping in the very old and elderly and to improve life satisfaction through stress reduction as the population ages. To this end, this study aimed to test the mediating effect of social support on the relationship between stress coping and life satisfaction among very old people. In particular, we paid attention to the differences in stress coping from the existing elderly population and took the view that they should be studied as an independent group. To confirm this, we analysed 275 men and women aged 85 years and older who responded to the fifth supplementary survey of the National Elderly Security Panel (KReIS) conducted by the National Pension Service. IBM SPSS 26 was used to test the mediating effect of social support on the effect of stress coping measures on life satisfaction in the very old elderly. The results of the significance test of the independent variables on the mediating variable showed that stress coping was positively significant, i.e., the higher the level of stress coping, the higher the life satisfaction. In addition, the results of the significance test of the effects of the independent variables and mediators on the dependent variable showed that coping with stress had a significant effect, and the mediator, social support, also had a significant effect on life satisfaction. Therefore, this study suggests the need for social support to improve the level of life satisfaction through coping with stress in the very old elderly.
The purpose of this study is to investigate influencing factors of nursing students' academic stress focusing on dimensions of empathy, ego-resilience, and stress coping strategies. Academic stress, dimensions of empathy, ego-resilience, and stress coping strategies among subjects were collected using structured questionnaires from 305 nursing students between November 1, 2015 and November 30, 2015. The results of this study showed that the factors affecting nursing students' academic stress were grade, personality orientation, major satisfaction, ego-resilience and emotion focused coping style, and the total explanatory power was 54.1%. To improve nursing students' academic stress, it is necessary to pay attention to the nursing students who are in their upper grades, extroverted, and with low major satisfaction. In developing a program to reduce academic stress, it is thought that it is necessary to include measures to raise the level of ego-resilience and to improve the level of emotion focused coping style among stress-coping strategies, and to conduct subsequent research to identify pathways in which the dimensions of empathy, ego-resilience and stress-coping strategies affect academic stress.
