The Convergence study on the Ego state, Interpersonal competence and problem solving ability of nursing students. (간호대학생의 자아 상태, 대인관계 유능성 및 문제해결 능력에 관한 융합연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between ego state, interpersonal competence and problem solving ability of nursing students. The method of this study was survay study 311 nursing students who have clinical experience. Data was collected by structured questionnaire and analyzed by SPSS / Win 21.0 program. The results showed that there was a positive correlation with the critical parent ego state(CP), nurturing parent ego state(NP), adult ego state(A), free child ego state(FC), interpersonal competence and problem solving ability. Adaptive Child ego state(AC) showed negative correlation between interpersonal competence and problem solving ability. In order to improve interpersonal competence and problem solving ability of nursing college students, it is necessary to develop CP and NP, A, FC ego state and develop and apply mutual AC analysis program to overcome the negative characteristics of AC ego state.

The Influence of Interpersonal Relationship and Communication Competence of Nursing Students who took Blended Learning on the Adjustment to College Life (블렌디드 러닝 수업을 받은 간호대학생의 대인관계와 의사소통능력이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of interpersonal relationships and communication skills of nursing students who received blended learning classes on adjustment to college Life. The subjects of this study were 133 first and second year nursing students. The survey was conducted from november 22th to december 3th. 2021. The data was analyzed with the SPSS/WIN 26.0 program. Descriptive statistics and meen differences were analyzed using an t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, Multiple regression. The result adjustment to college life of interpersonal relationship, communication competence it was found that there was a significant positive correlation between. The factors of communication competence, interpersonal relationship, Nursing and admissions motivation were impact on the adjustment to college life level of nursing students. The explanatory power of this was 44.3%. In conclusion, a strategy for improving communication skills and smooth interpersonal relationships is needed so that nursing students who have received blended learning can adjustment to college life.

The Effect of Covert Narcissism of Nursing Students on Nursing Professionalism : Mediating effect of Perceived Social Support and Interpersonal Competence (간호대학생의 내현적 자기애가 간호전문직관에 미치는 영향 : 지각된 사회적 지지와 대인관계능력의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of perceived social support and interpersonal competence on the effects of covert narcissism on nursing professionalism of nursing students. For this purpose, 375 nursing students from three colleges in J province were sampled for convenience. The result of this study were as follows: First, the fix indexed of causal model among covert narcissism, nursing professionalism, perceived social support and interpersonal competence were identified suitably. Second, covert narcissism of nursing students directly affected interpersonal competence and perceived social support, which was statistically significant. Third, interpersonal competence showed mediating effects in relationship between covert narcissism and nursing professionalism. Fourth, the interpersonal competence of nursing students directly affected perceived social support and nursing professionalism. Based on the results of the research, it is necessary to develop an intervention program that can enhance interpersonal competence in order to strengthen nursing professionalism of nursing students.

Nursing Students' Empathy Ability, Positive Psychological Capital and Interpersonal Competence of Korea and Korean-Chinese in China (한국과 중국 조선족 간호대학생의 공감능력, 긍정심리자본 및 대인관계유능성)

  • Comparative analysis of the nursing students' empathy ability, positive psychological capital, and interpersonal competence of Korea and Korean-Chinese in China was conducted. Data were collected from160 survey questionnaires from Nov.1 to Dec 30, 2019, from Korea and China. The data use frequency and percentage, mean, independent t-test, and Pearson's correlation coefficient were analyzed. The results showed that Korean nursing students' empathy, positive psychological capital, and interpersonal competence scores were higher than Korean-Chinese nursing students in China. The empathy ability of Korean nursing students had no significant correlation with positive psychological capital and interpersonal competence. The empathy ability of the nursing students of Korean-Chinese had a significant positive correlation with the positive psychological capital and interpersonal competence. The higher the empathy ability, the higher the positive psychological capital and higher the interpersonal competence. Several intervention programs will be needed to increase the empathy ability, positive psychological capital, and interpersonal relationship of Korean-Chinese nursing students.

The Influence of Pre-service early childhood Teacher's Empathetic Ability and Interpersonal Competence on Teacher's Efficacy (예비유아교사의 공감능력과 대인관계 유능성이 교사효능감에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examines the influence of pre-service early childhood teacher's empathy and interpersonal competence on teacher efficacy. The subjects of this study include 358 pre-service early childhood teachers. The instruments used in this study were the emotional empathy scale, interpersonal competence questionnaire (ICQ) and the teacher efficacy scale. Collected data was analyzed using the SPSS program. In order to determine the general background of the pre-service teachers, the frequency and percentages were used. For examination of empathetic ability, interpersonal competence and teacher efficacy of pre-service early childhood teachers, a descriptive statistics analysis was conducted. In addition, in order to assess the relationship among empathetic ability, interpersonal competence and teacher efficacy of pre-service early childhood teachers, Pearson's correlation analysis was conducted. Lastly, for the examination of the effects and relative explanation of empathetic ability, interpersonal competence and teacher efficacy of pre-service early childhood teachers, multiple regression analysis was conducted. The results of this study were as follows: first, pre-service early childhood teachers were shown to have higher empathetic ability, interpersonal relationships and teacher efficacy rates than average. Second, there was a positive correlation among empathetic ability, interpersonal competence and teacher efficacy of pre-service early childhood teachers. Third, teacher efficacy of pre-service early childhood teachers was influenced by their empathetic ability and interpersonal competence. The results of this study suggest that teacher efficacy improvement programs for pre-service early childhood teachers should consider their empathetic ability. Also, study results emphasize the necessity of empathetic ability and interpersonal relationship improvement program for pre-service early childhood teachers.

The Relationship among Smartphone addiction, Communication ability, Loneliness and Interpersonal relationship for university students (대학생의 스마트폰 중독, 의사소통 능력, 외로움, 대인관계 건강 간의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among smartphone addiction, communication ability, loneliness, and interpersonal relationships in university students in Korea. Between 15 and 31 May 2016, 263 subjects completed a questionnaire consisting of questions on smartphone addiction, communication ability, loneliness, and health of interpersonal relationships. Among smartphone addiction questions there were significant differences between genders (t = 2.350, p = 0.019) and educational grade (F = 3.313, p = 0.021). With regard to human relationship health, the scores for males were significantly higher than those for females (t = 2.337, p = 0.020). The smartphone addiction and human relationship health results were negatively correlated (r = -0.157, p = 0.011). In contrast, communication ability and human relationship health results were positively correlated (r = 0.581, p < 0.001). However, loneliness and human relationship health were not significantly correlated. The final multiple regression model explaining human relationship health included smartphone addiction (t = 2.753, p = 0.006), communication ability (t = 11.714, p < 0.001), and motivation for smartphone purchase (t = 2.125, p = 0.035) as independent factors. The final model explained 36.6% of the total variance. In order to improve university students' human relationship health, solutions for smartphone addiction and low communication skills are required. This results of this study can be used as a basis on which to develop a human relationship health intervention program.

The Effects of Early Childhood Teacher's Interpersonal Relationship Ability and Ego-Resiliency on Psychological Well-Being (유아교사의 대인관계능력과 자아탄력성이 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aimed to find the effects of early childhood teachers of interpersonal relationship ability and ego-resiliency on psychological well-being. The Subjects, 243 early childhood teachers, answered the Interpersonal Relationship Ability Scale, Ego-Resiliency Scale, and Psychological Well-being Scale. The results were as follows; First, there were positive correlations between total and subscale scores of interpersonal relationship ability and psychological well-being of early childhood teachers. Also, there were positive correlations between the total and subscale scores of ego-resiliency and psychological well-being of early childhood teachers. Second, from multiple linear regression analyses of the variables, ego-resiliency had more significant influence on the psychological well-being of early childhood teachers than interpersonal relationship ability.

Impact of Positive Thinking and Interpersonal Relationship on Communication Competency in Nursing Students (간호대학생의 긍정적 사고와 대인관계가 의사소통능력에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to identify the factors affecting the communication competency in nursing students. Method: The subjects of this study were 171 nursing students from two universities located in G and P cities. The collected data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, and Multiple Regression Analysis. Results: As a result of multiple regression analysis, the significant predictors of communication competency of nursing students were interpersonal relationships(β=.404, p<.001) and positive thinking(β=.274, p=.014). Communication competency was explained 47.9% of variance in interpersonal relationship and positive thinking. Conclusion: The results of this study showed that interpersonal relationship and positive thinking in nursing students were the influential factor on communication competency. Therefore, the results of this study suggest that it is necessary to find ways to improve interpersonal relationship and positive thinking in order to improve communication competency of nursing students, and it is considered to be useful as basic data for developing intervention programs to improve communication competency.

The Influences on the Self-Regulated Learning Ability due to Nursing Students' Interpersonal Competence and Self-Determination Motivation (간호대학생의 대인관계유능성, 자기결정성동기가 자기조절학습능력에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study based on descriptive research is to examine the convergent relationship of interpersonal competence, self-determination motivation and self-regulated learning ability in nursing students. Data collected from 251 nursing students at a university located in C province from June, 2018 to July, 2018 are analyzed using SPSS/WIN 21.0. As a result, there are positive correlation between interpersonal competence(r=.361, p<.001) and self-determination motivation(r=.466, p<.001) and self-regulated-learning-ability. Interpersonal competence and self-determination motivation have not meaningful relationship(r=.091, p=.148). It is turned out that interpersonal competence and self-determination motivation are influenced on the self-regulated learning ability respectively. Based on these results, research should be continued on the developing new educational methods through convergence of factors by analyzing relevant factors to enhance interpersonal competence and self-determination motivation that affect self-regulated learning ability.

The effects of dental hygiene students' positive psychological capital on communication skills and interpersonal skills (치위생(학)과 학생들의 긍정심리자본이 의사소통능력과 대인관계능력에 미치는 영향)

  • The aim of this survey has been to investigate the effects of positive psychological capital of students from some universities in Busan and Ulsan on communication skills and interpersonal skills. As a result of the relationship with the main variables, there was a significant positive correlation between sub-factors of positive psychological capital and each ability. Hope(p<0.01) and Resiliency(p<0.05) among the effects of positive psychological capital on communication skills were statistically significant, and, in case of those on interpersonal skills, Resiliency(p<0.001), Efficacy(p<0.05), and Hope(p<0.05) were statistically significant. Therefore, it is necessary to develop and apply an intervention program that can establish the importance of positive psychological capital and strengthen positive psychological capital in order to improve students' communication and interpersonal skills.
