The purpose of this study was to develop a multicultural education practice scale for preschool teachers and to examine the reliability and validity of the scale. Participants for this study were 310 preschool teachers from Seoul and Gyeonggi. The multicultural education practice scale for preschool teachers was consisted of 3 factors, 'multicultural national to understand', 'interactions with multicultural children' and 'multicultural culturally to understand' with 13 items. Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ was ranged from .74 to .82. The confirmatory factor analysis revealed that RMSEA=.08, SRMR=.06, NNF=.90, and CFI=.92. All these results show that the multicultural education practice scale for preschool teachers is quite reliable and valid.

The purpose of this research is to distinguish the effect of children's multicultural educational program in the daily life schedule that is integrated in Nuri-programme on children's multicultural acceptance and pro social behavior. Subjects were 4-year-old children from Gyounggi-do A city separated into anexperimental group and acontrol group. Both groups werepre tested. After conducting a program for 44 times, the data was collected using visual resources and instruction considering 4-year-old children's ability to read. In conclusion, the experimental group educated with children's multicultural program showed higher multicultural acceptance. These show that multicultural education affect pro-social behavior.

In this study, WSS developmental checklist and nursery maladaptive test were conducted and applied to 203 multicultural children and non-multicultural children. The children were 3-5years old and were attending 34 kindergartens located in Gimpo-si and Ansan-si, Gyeonggi-do to investigate the developmental level and status of adaptation to the nursery in multicultural children. The result shows that there is no difference in the development of scientific thinking and mathematical thinking while developmental level is lower in personality, sociality, language, reading and writing area in multicultural children compared to non-multicultural children. According to age, there is no difference in the development between 4~5-year-old multicultural children and non-multicultural children while there is a difference in the development between 3-year-old multicultural and non-multicultural children. It also shows that there are no significant differences in nursery adaptation between multicultural children and non-multicultural children.

This study is how to effectively apply this SNS based education to multicultural families and is to analyze how any change in the lives of multicultural families. Multicultural education in Korea has been steadily run by the government and local authorities, however the lack of free time, distances, for economic reasons and unfamiliarity of the new culture and language, immigrant women are not getting the education. To solve this problem, we provide the necessary information, such as culture, education, laws of the Korea for multicultural families and analyze their effect on life adjustment. And we also analyze changes to relieve loneliness. As a result multicultural family education utilizing SNS is verified that there is effectiveness to adapt and understand Korea. As well as inter-family, multicultural members to seamlessly communicate between each other that proved helpful to relieve loneliness.

The purpose of this study is to stereotype the subjective perception of multicultural societies of university students and to identify the characteristics and differences by types. To this end, the Q methodology was utilized and 31 college students were selected. According to the analysis, there were four types of university students' perception on multicultural societies. Type 1 was an 'aggressive acceptance' which aggressively and positively embraces multicultures. Type 2 was a 'its national first priority', which put the Korean first before immigrants. Type 3 was 'reasonable acceptance' that accepts multiculturalism within the reasonable and legal bounds. Type 4 was 'limited permission' which agrees to accept immigrants restrictively. Based on the results of this study, thought-provoking ways needed to realize multicultural societies were explored.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of the daily life stress of the multicultural parents on the learning care style of the child and the mediating effect of the parent efficacy on the process. To this end, we surveyed 960 multicultural parents who responded to MAPS' multicultural youth panel 5th year data for parents. The main results are as follows. First, the daily life stress of multicultural parents did not affect the learning care style of their children. Second, parental efficacy was found to be mediating between daily life stress of multicultural parents and child's learning care style. In other words, the positive role of parental efficacy plays an important role in the child's learning care style by improving the stress-relieving ability of multicultural parents.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of multicultural competence on the organizational effectiveness of daycare teachers and to provide basic data to improve organizational effectiveness of daycare facilities. To achieve this goal, 258 childcare teachers attending C university were sampled for convenience and statistical processing was performed using PASW. First, there was a positive correlation between organizational productivity, organizational adaptability, and job satisfaction in the relationship between multicultural knowledge and organizational productivity, organizational adaptability, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction. second. The relationship between multicultural awareness and organizational productivity, organizational adaptability, and organizational commitment were all statistically correlated. Third, multicultural knowledge and multicultural awareness have positive effects on organizational commitment, organizational adaptability, and organizational productivity. Fourth, multicultural knowledge has a positive effect on job satisfaction. Therefore, in order to improve organizational effectiveness of day care facilities in the era of convergence, education programs related to multicultural knowledge and multicultural awareness are needed for daycare teachers.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of parents' positive and negative parenting attitudes on multicultural expropriation and the mediating effect of community spirit in the process. For this purpose, 1,336 first - year students who entered the university were sampled based on the 7th year data of Korea Youth Policy Institute for a regression analysis. The main results are as follows. First, the positive parenting attitude of the parents recognized by university students has a positive influence on multicultural expropriation, and the negative parenting attitude has a negative influence on multicultural expropriation. Second, Community spirit is found to have a positive influence on multicultural expropriation by university students and shown to have a partial mediated effect between positive or negative parenting and multicultural expropriation. Based on the above research results, various programs were developed and applied to enhance parents' positive parenting attitude and multicultural expropriation, and to promote positive parenting attitude and community spirit.

The objective of the study was to examine the factors affecting the life satisfaction of multicultural adolescents and to verify the mediating effects of school adjustment and career attitude between depression and life satisfaction of multicultural adolescents.. For the purpose, 1079 subjects were selected from the 7th (2017) data of the Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study (MAPS), and the data collected were verified through analysis methods such as structural equation and Bootstrapping analysis. The results founded are as follows. First, the depression of multicultural adolescents was shown to decrease their life satisfaction. Second, school adjustment played a partial mediating role in the causal relationship between depression and life satisfaction of multicultural adolescents. Third, the effect of depression of multicultural adolescents on the life satisfaction was partly mediated by their career attitude. On the basis of the findings, practical programs and policy alternatives to enhance life satisfaction of multicultural adolescents were discussed.

This study investigates, 1) the predicting career attitudes of multicultural youth, 2) the aim was to provide evidence-based data on career and policy development. A survey for a total of 1,335 multicultural youth and data were analyzed by data-mining decision tree with SPSS 23.0. The main findings are as follows. First, female students showed satisfaction in life, self-esteem and support for mothers' career. Second, In boys, self-esteem was the most important. Based on these results, it contains suggestions for career development for multicultural youth.
