Study on Extraction of Sub-element and Construction of System Model for the Technological Communication Skills (기술적 의사소통능력의 하위요소 추출과 체제모형 구축)

  • The purpose of this study was to extract of Sub-elements of technological communication skills and to construct of a system model. In order to achieve the goal of the study, it was carried out in two steps: (1)Extraction sub-elements and definitions of technological communication skills, (2)Development of a system model of technological communication skills. Obtained conclusions by the process of this research were as follows. First, sub-elements of the technological communication skills were extracted and they were images, sketches, flowcharts, drawings, prototyping, symbols tables graphs and presentations. Second, using the 'technological communication tools' based on the "collaborative activities in online and offline', technological communication skills were defined as communication skills to be raised through the process of 'Idea through the Communication', 'Realization through the Communication', 'Wrap up through the Communication'. Third, technological communication skills were described as the system, in which 'Idea through the Communication(images, sketches, flowcharts)', 'Realization through the Communication(design, prototyping)', 'Wrap up through the Communication(symbol table graph, presentation)' were collaboratively activated. Fourth, checking tool for the technological communication skills was developed, based on checking tool for the existing communication skills and system model for technological communication skills. And it was improved by the expert validity test.

Cognitive Components Definition of Creative Problem-Solving Ability in Informatics Education (정보 교육에서 요구되는 창의적 문제해결능력의 인지적 요소 정의)

  • It is important to improve the creative problem- solving ability through subject matter education. Especially, Informatics education is important to improve the problem-solving ability by using computer as well as the general problem-solving ability. This paper identifies the creative problem- solving ability which is required in Informatics education. The cognitive components of the creative problem-solving ability are organized as the result of crossing the problem-solving ability and the creativity. This paper investigated the validity of the contents as judged by a panel of experts. The cognitive components of creativity are the elaboration, sensitivity, and reorganization in the step of 'Understanding and Analysis the Problem'. Also, The cognitive components of creativity are the fluency, flexibility, and originality in the step of the 'Exploring the Problem Solutions'. The cognitive components of creativity are elaboration in the step of the 'Design the Problem Solution' and 'Implementation'. Finally, the cognitive components of creativity are the flexibility and elaboration in the step of the 'Evaluation'.

  • The purpose of this study is to research the concepts of reading ability and debate ability, and the components of both abilities and to make the performance assessment's standards to apply them to the classroom for reading debate in the school libraries. For doing this, I studied the necessity of reading debate, assessment, and the components of reading/debate abilities. The components of the reading and debate abilities were derived from the theoretical researches and the performance assessment's standards for the reading debate were proposed in the viewpoint of the teacher librarians and classroom teachers in the school libraries in order that the teacher librarians and teachers could apply them to the reading debate classes and assess the performance achievement of the students.

NCW 체계하의 전투능력 평가 방안 연구

  • 본 연구는 네트워크 중심전(NCW)에서 전투력에 영향을 미치는 요소들과 전투능력 평가방법에 관한 것이다. 전투능력에 영향을 미치는 기초변수로 상황인식, 환경적응, 물자보급, 정보유통 및 지휘통제를 설정하고 이러한 기초변수가 전투능력에 미치게 될 영향을 추론하였다. 설정된 기초변수를 전제하여 대응소요 시간을 기반으로 전투능력을 평가하는 방안을 제시하였다. 대응 신뢰성 및 대응 효율을 평가함으로써 전투능력을 정량화하는 것이 가능하며 정량화된 자료를 축적함으로써 통계적으로 전투능력과 기초변수와의 상관관계를 파악할 수 있으며 이러한 관계를 이해하는 것은 NCW 체계구축에 중요한 요소가 될 것이다.

  • We confront incessant choices in life. A person or a group stands at a crossroad continuously and make decisions under limited conditions in each time in order to achieve a goal. These series of processions are referred to as decision making and dominates our actions. Based on this view, the decision making is crucial and it secures its own position in school education as well as in real life. The purpose of this study is to develop decision making skills instructional model that can be applied to improve decision making skills in technological subjects. The components of decision making skills in technological education was problem recognition, problem identification, alternative production, alternative assessment, optimum selection, optimum evaluate. An instructional models for improvement of decision making skills in technology education and examination was designed according to the components of decision making skills in technological education. Depending on the components of decision making skills developed a teaching material to experience each step. And in the teaching material was to verify the improved decision-making skill. Accordingly, a decision making instruction model in technology is expected to contribute to enhance students' decision making skills.

  • Many Countries are recently focued on building capability based military and operating for the defense budget efficiency and operational effectiveness. The EA not only defines enterprise scope but also identifies relation among them, manage change and complexity. Accordingly, this research aims to build architecture framework which can achieve alignment, integration and interoperability by developing it with output. Through this, architecture framework can be changed into force development and operation. And it can be used for construction of effective force and operation for NCO by applying mathematical model and method of force priority development based on developed capabilities-based architecture framework.

  • The national competency standards (NCS) is a systematize and standardize for skills required to perform their job. The NCS has developed a learning module with materialization and standardize by competence unit element, which is the unit of specific job competency. The existing curriculum is material to gab analysis for use in education training with competence unit element. The existing gab analysis has evaluated subjectively by experts. The gab analysis by experts bring up a subject subjective decision, accuracy lack, temporal and spatial inefficiency by psychological factor. This paper is proposed automated evaluation model for problem resolve of subjective evaluation. This paper use index term extraction, term frequency-inverse document frequency for feature value extraction, cosine similarity algorithm for gab analysis between existing curriculum and competence unit element. This paper was presented similarity mapping table between existing curriculum and competence unit element. The evaluation model in this paper should be complemented by an improved algorithm from the structural characteristics and speed.

  • National Competency Standards(NCS) development related researches on the semiconductor industry were carried out partially, but the field training demand survey and analysis using that NCS were not done. The past demand survey for the job skill training had focused on personnel shortage and oversupply so it has the problems called skill mismatch. This study has the purpose to provide an alternative analysis of qualitative evaluation using the relative importance and gap of the job skill elements in the semiconductor industry. As research methods, we carried out related literature and report review, and a job skill demand survey on the semiconductor industry. We analyzed about the industry related jobs and job tasks, the qualitative demand for each job skill elements, and procurement methods for each job skills and manpower. We illustrated some related training courses to find out a relevant way for supplying the training programs.

A Study on Improvement of NCS Duty Components in 'Library and Information Management' by Evaluation of the Importance and Utilization (NCS '문헌정보관리' 직무 구성요소의 중요도 및 활용도 평가를 통한 개선방안 연구)

  • This study was performed in order to derive components that librarians think preferentially necessary and realistically important when applying the NCS 'Library and Information Administration's duty' to the library working environments. It was possible by evaluating and analyzing the importance and utilization of ability unit and its element which are the components of NCS 'Library and Information Administration's duty'. First, ability units of 'User Information Services', 'Reading and Culture Programs' were higher in importance and utilization at the same time. Ability units of 'Library and Information Practical Research Perform', 'Library and Information Curation', 'Library and Information System Operation' were lower in importance and utilization when we evaluate the importance and utilization of ability unit and its element which are the components of NCS 'Library and Information Administration's duty'. Second, components of 'Reading and Culture Programs', 'User Information Service', 'Library and Information Collection' were higher in the order, and components of 'Library and Information Curation', 'Library and Information System Operation', 'Library and Information Practical Research Perform' were found lower in demands as the desirable level and the current level appear less common when we analyzed the demands on the duty components utilizing Borich requirements analysis model. Third, six ability units of 'Reading and Culture Programs', 'User Information Services', 'Library and Information Collection', 'Library and Information Services Marketing', 'Library and Information Preservation', 'Library and Information Use Analysis' were derived as priority components when we analyzed the priority of the duty component (ability unit) utilizing The Locus for Focus model.
