농촌은 심각한 소멸의 위기에 닥쳐 있으며, 이 위기상황에 대해 우리는 특별한 해결책이 없다. 여러 전문가들이 축산업이 농촌을 소멸의 위기에서 구해낼 수 있는 가장 현실적 대안이라 말하고 있다. 더불어민주당 이원택 의원실과 축산신문, 나눔축산운동본부, 축산관련단체협의회가 지난 12월 20일 국회의원회관 제7간담회실에서 '농촌소멸 대응과 축산업 발전전략'을 주제로 전문가 토론회를 열었다. 이날 발표된 주요 내용을 소개한다.

This study is to develop a non-contact construction project management solution that can reduce cost and construction period through on-site information sharing, minimizing contact with others by COVID19, and improving the productivity of the construction industry. Decisions, checklists, and execution rates of construction costs can be checked with smart devices through sharing on-site photos and videos, exchanging opinions. Details and checklist data stored on cloud servers of sites that apply non-face-to-face construction project management solutions will be used as data for analyzing amounts and construction periods depending on the size of the construction. Real-time field information sharing will reduce expected problems and waste factors, expand communication channels with users to prevent or minimize construction disputes and claims, and contribute to the expansion and growth of new research industry markets in construction technology.

This study aims to analyze the impact of elements for evaluating the festival, such as festival content, accessibility and convenience and festival image, on visitor satisfaction and behavioral intention, based on the actual case of Seoul Friendship Fair (SFF) which has been hosted by the City of Seoul every May since 1996. The SFF is participated by 64 embassies operating in Seoul and Seoul's 14 sister & friendship cities. Some 100,000 out of the total 350,000 visitors to the SFF are from overseas. The main elements of this study include survey responses about festival content and population statistics frequency analysis conducted over 277 festival visitors. As for factors, as a result of varimax rotation over main elements, technical statistics, credibility analysis and correlation analysis were done over each element group of five. Hypothesis was validated through regression analysis that the elements for evaluating local festivals have an impact on visitor satisfaction and behavioral intention. The suggestions and results of this study, both theoretical and practical, were presented to help the SFF differentiate itself and thereby become one of Seoul's most representative festivals.

Despite a dramatic increase in the use of smartphones these days, the elderly's smartphone usage rate is relatively low. This is because there are some facts limiting the elderly's access to the smartphones: 1) aging in both physical and cognitive abilities and 2) complicated functions that are hard to see in the phones. In this study, we studied how Korean typography influence the elderly's legibility and extracted proper Korean typography factors that would best suit the elderly when they use the smartphones. As a result of the study and legibility evaluation for the 24 seniors over 65, we could witness the excellence of 13pt font size compared to 11 or 12 and the Serif typeface as being better than San Serif typeface. On the other hand, the space between the letters and lines did not make a big influence on the elderly's readability. From the preference evaluation, there were no differences found between Serif typeface and San Serif typeface. However, a bigger font size was preferred in the order of 13pt, 12pt, and 11pt. There was no difference in preference found regarding the space between the letters and the lines. We expect that proper Korean typography in smartphones could help the elderly in using the smartphones well.

This study is to measure traveling experience of bike riders whom going long distance trip. Bike paths and bike riding are crucial element for modern people's life style. At the same time, a bicycle trail is being developed by the National Bicycled-Oriented Chair Plan, which was established in 2009 by the National Bike Policy Master Plan. 13 million bike riders in Korea is keep on trying the long distance bike trip and its number is increasing every year. Accordingly, the Ministry of Public Administration and Security decides to promote the convenience of riders by developing bicycle app for long distance rider. The study attempted to assess usability of this app with 39 bike applications whom currently using the bike application. Afterwards, the researchers tests 11 hypotheses through in-depth interviews of six activated members. In sum, Bicycle travelers should be provided with bike trail guidance based on theme section skill, provided in-time speed distance related information, communicated with other bike riders, given tips for bike supplies and maintenance, and provided English language service. The study hopes to help find a customized service for bike travelers.

This study attempts to examine the relationship between giving & volunteering behavior and charitable bequest intention. For the examination, this study used '2011 Korean National Social Survey' that was randomly sampled from the population of Korean in 2011. In examining the relationship, this study employed the method of Propensity Score Matching that permits the comparisons between experimental group and control group. In this study, the experimental groups consist of six different combinations of philanthropic behaviors as follows: donating only; volunteering only; participating both; regular donating only; regular volunteering only; and doing both regularly. The results show that all the types of philanthropic behaviors have statistically significant positive effect on charitable bequest intention. First, more active philanthropic behavior such as regular behavior causes higher charitable bequest intention. Second, those who participate in both philanthropic behaviors (combined behavior of donating and volunteering) have stronger effect on charitable bequest intention in comparison to participating only one philanthropic behavior (either donating or volunteering). Third, giving have relatively stronger relationship with charitable bequest intention than volunteering. Throughout more careful examination of the causal relationship from philanthropic behavior to charitable bequest intention, this study provides new understanding on the effect of daily philanthropic behavior on charitable bequest and practical implication to nurture charitable bequest. Indeed, this study contributes to building a knowledge foundation for future research on charitable bequest.

It would be reasonable as a teacher to make efforts not only to reflect on the class on their own but also to improve the teacher' teaching e pertise by reflecting on the class with fellow teachers through lesson reflection sharing. This paper attempted to develop a lesson reflective framework that can provide standards and focus for lesson reflection and lesson sharing. First, based on the class evaluation criteria of previous studies, class reflection elements and a draft of lesson reflection were prepared. In a class conducted on 27 third graders at C High School where the co-researcher worked as a teacher, four peer teachers at the same high school were required to write personal opinions on the class based on the draft of lesson reflection. Based on this, lesson sharing was conducted, and modifications of the lesson reflection framework were developed by analyzing the case of class sharing. The implications of this paper indicate the need to clarify the perspective of viewing the lesson by sharing the intention of each question in advance. In addition to writing lesson reflections, it is necessary to share classes simultaneously.

지난 5월 11일 한국국제보건의료재단(KOFIH)이 개최한 제1회 해외보건의료 우수사례 공모전에서 가톨릭대학교 성의교정 해외의료지원단이 대상의 수상을 차지했다. 가톨릭대 해외의료지원단은 2004년 3월부터 몽골 울란바토르에 설립한 상설 무료진료소 '성 메리 클리닉(St. Mary's Clinic)'을 운영하고 있는데 이는 해외의료봉사의 롤모델로 평가받고 있다. 가톨릭대 해외의료 지원단과 성 메리 클리닉을 만나본다.

징키스칸의 나라 몽골, 바다만큼이나 넓은 대륙, 양떼를 몰고 말 타기를 좋아하는 징기스칸의 후예들이 숨 쉬는 그 땅에서 펼쳐진 이흐올학교 학생들의 건강검진. 9월 28일부터 30일까지 실시된 건강검진은 행복하고 안타까운 마음이 공존한 가운데 그렇게 마무리되었다. 그리고 또 다시 남은 일정을 하나씩 수행하면서 한국건강관리협회가 뜻 깊은 행사에 있어서 한 몫을 담당했다는 자부심이 생겨 돌아오는 길은 온화함으로 가득했다.
