Deterioration of agricultural hydraulic structures(AHS), which are under harsh environmental conditions, is more sever than other ordinary structures. To investigate the deterioration factors of AHS, various physical and chemical analyses are performed. The porosity of AHS increases more rapidly than ordinary structures because they are subject to frequent water permeation and water-soluble materials are easily emitted to surface area. Thus, AHS are tend to be damaged by freezing and thawing more easily due to the increase of water containment inside concrete.

Phase relationships of the pseudobinary systems in melanotekite-plumboferrite and melanotekite-magnetoplumbite in $PbO-Fe_2O_3-SiO_3$ system were obtained. Dielectric electric and magnetic properties were measured in the chosen pseudo-ternary system.

균형된 불완비 블록계획이 존재하지 않는 경우 동반수가 연속적인 두 개의 정수값을 갖는 정규그래프계획(Regular Graph Designs :RGD)은 불완비 블록계획중에서 가장 효율적인 계획이 됨을 추측하였다(John과 Mitchell,1977). Brown(1988)은 주어진 모수를 이용하여 정규그래프계획의 존재 여부를 판단하는 방법을 연구하였다. 본 논문에서는 정규그래프계획의 존재여부를 판단하는 방법을 동반수가 3인 블록계획으로 확장하여 동반수가 3인 부분적으로 균형된 불완비 블록계획중에서 동반수가 3인 가장 균형된 계획 (3-concurrence most balanced designs)의 존재여부를 판단하는 방법을 제시하였다.

60년대나 70년대만 하더라도 치과대학에서 여학생을 보기는 쉬운 일이 아니었다. 그러나 현재 치협에 신고된 치과의사의 성별을 연령별로 분석해 보면 30세 미만의 여자치과의사의 비율이 34.24%에 달해 앞으로 치과계에 이들의 참여가 점차 늘어날 것으로 보인다. 이에 여자치과의사의 현황을 살펴보고 다분히 남성중심적이라고 볼 수 있는 치과계에서 여자로서 살아가는 이야기를 다뤄본다.

Shearing properties of soil reinforced with discrete randomly oriented inclusions depend on soil density, particle size, grading, fiber length, tensile strength and stiffness of fiber, mixing ration of fiber, confining stress, etc.. In this paper the effects of those various factors on shear strength of the fiber-reinforced soil was evaluated through triaxial tests and uniaxial tests. Tests were performed on two sandy soils and one silty soil with inclusions in varing lengths, contents and tensile strengths and tested at different confining stresses in triaxial test. From the experimental results, it was investigated if there is an optimal range of fiber lengths and fiber contents for the tested soils.

완전이면교배를 블록화하는 디자인으로 대개 부분적으로 균형된 불완비 블록계획을 사용한다. 이때 블록화하는 디자인으로 삼각형 PBIBD를 사용하기 위해는 대응되는 삼각형 PBIBD를 찾아야 한다. 특정한 모수를 갖는 균형된 불완비 블록계획의 쌍대계획이 삼각형 PBIBD가 되는 성질을 이용하면 삼각형 PBIBD를 새로 찾아야 하는 번거로움 없이 블록 완전이면교배를 설계할 수 있다. 이를 만족하는 블록 완전이면교배를 설계하는 방법과 디자인을 제시하였다.

Causes of the levee collapse are directly or indirectly associated with geotechnical engineering as well as hydraulics. In this paper, literature survey and analysis were conducted to present the alternatives in geotechnical engineering issues for rational levee design. The alternatives include the reasonable river-bed soil utilization and precautions of numerical analysis and slope stability analysis, disruption type and improvement method of drainage facility.
