Actual Condition Investigation of Radiologist on the Hand Washing Management and Personal Hygiene Management (방사선사의 손 씻기 관리와 개인위생관리의 실태조사)

  • The purpose of this study is to know the status of management of nosocomial infection and to present basic data for improving management of nosocomial infection. As a result, the average score of the recognition and performance of radiologist on the management of hand washing is 4.378, and 4.199 of 5. The average score of the recognition and performance of radiologist on the management of personal hygiene is 4.284, and 3.990 of 5. The recognition of hand washing management according to the general character, statistically significant difference according to the gender, age, education, career. In the performance is statistically significant difference according to the gender, marriage situation. In the recognition of personal hygiene management according to the general character, statistically significant difference according to the age, education, career. Performance of statistically significant difference according to the marriage situation, career. Finally, statistically significant difference between recognition and performance of radiologists on management of hand washing(r=0.453, p=0.000) and personal hygiene(r=0.415, p=0.000).

The Relationship between Career Development Practice and Career Plateaus in the Government Sponsored Institutions (출연(연)의 경력개발제도(CDP)와 경력정체성의 관계)

  • In general, if employees recognize that their career are tied up, their overall level of job commitment and job satisfaction are decreased which eventually negatively affect individual performance. Especially, career development in the high specialized job like R&D task is more important than other jobs. While the previous studies showed interest in the negative consequences of career plateau, this study aimed at finding out the antecedents of career plateau. By diving the antecedents of career plateau into organizational level and individual one, we conducted direct effect and interaction effect of antecedents variables on career plateau. The empirical results using employees belonging to government funded R&D institute showed that career development practice and work experience in other institutes have negatively related to career plateau, while age has positively related to career plateau. In addition, the interaction effect between career development practice and work experience in other institute was also significant.

The Effects of Nurses' Turnover Intention, Nunchi, and Job Stress on Organizational Socialization (간호사의 이직의도, 눈치, 직무스트레스가 조직사회화에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the effects of nurses' turnover intention, Nunchi, and job stress on organizational socialization. Data were collected from 180 nurses working in hospitals in G-do. Analysis was done using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and Multiple regression with IBM SPSS WIN/21.0. Organizational socialization was inversely correlated to turnover intention (r=-.52, p<.001), job stress (r=-.31, p<.001), and was positively correlated to Nunchi (r=.33, p<.001). The most influential factor on the subjects' organizational socialization was turnover intention (β=-.37, p<.001), Nunchi (β=.26, p<.001), job stress (β=-.24, p<.001), deployment to the desired department (β =.19, p=.001), Age 30 years or younger (β=-.14, p=.012), and Working department-OR (β=.11, p=.050). The explanatory power was 47.0% (F=25.59, p<.001). Therefore, a organizational socialization enhancement program is needed to reduce turnover intention and job stress. Also, age and desired depertment need to be taken into account when assigning departments.

  • This study was conducted in order to the investigate factors associated with turnover intention and the relationship among nursing professionalism, job satisfaction and turnover intention of nurses working in a small and medium-Sized hospital. From Oct 2011 to Jun 2012, "I" City, a nurse 240 working in a small and medium-Sized hospital. Average nursing professionalism score $3.23{\pm}.44$, $2.81{\pm}.47$, average job satisfaction score points, and the average turnover intention score was $2.70{\pm}.87$ points. Clinical experience, number of hours worked by the difference in the turnover intention was significan,. turnover intention is to describe the main variables job satisfaction(${\beta}$ = .533) than the other relevant factors, the most showed a lot of influence. Through this study, to reduce turnover intention need to continuously study on job the satisfaction of nurses in small-medium sized hospital.

The Effects of Job Stress on Fatigue and Depression in Aesthetician (피부관리사의 스트레스가 피로도와 우울증에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of stress factors on fatigue and depression of aesthetician. The subjects of this study were 133 Aesthetician in Busan Metropolitan City. Analysis was done by frequency analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA and regression analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, the aesthetician showed an average 2.57 of job stress. Second, the aesthetician showed an average 2.45 of socio-psychological stress. Third, the aesthetician showed an average fatigue(4.16) and depression(1.54). Therefore, in order to reduce the duties and socio-psychological stress of the aesthetician, fatigue and depression are reduced through regularization of the employees, adjustment of legal working hours, and establishment of similar paying system. Finally, it is necessary to lower the turnover rate of the aesthetician and increase the job satisfaction.

A Study on Musculoskeletal Symptom and Pain related to Working Posture of Operation-Room Workers. (수술실 근무자의 업무수행 관련 근골격계 부담정도와 통증에 대한 연구)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to identify musculoskeletal symptom and pain related working posture with operation-room workers. Methods: The subjects of this study were 73 people who were working from hospital operating-room. A questionnaire consisting of general characteristics, pain symptoms, and pain frequency was given. Objective working posture analysis was done by using REBA after recording moving images in hospital operating-rooms. Results: The result were as follows. The risk level of musculoskeletal symptom related working posture was high, and the management level was at the least 2; 'some management was required for musculoskeletal symptom'. The frequency of pain was 3~4 times/week and the severe pain were experienced from legs, neck, and shoulder. The result of relation of general characteristics and pain were significant variable with sex, age, marital status, weight, past working history, average working time(hr/day), working style, and working department. Conclusion: These results contribute to a better understanding of operation-room workers have high possibility of musculoskeletal disease and are severe musculoskeltal pain related working posture.

Impact of Unit-level Nurse Practice Environment on Nurse Turnover Intention (간호단위별 간호근무환경이 간호사의 이직의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to conduct the impact of unit-level nurse practice environment on turnover intention among nurses in a tertiary hospital. A cross-sectional study was carried out using questionnaires with 267 nurses in 24 nursing units of hospital in Seoul. Data were collected in November 2013 and were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 23.0. The results of the study indicate that nurse turnover intention is associated with the nurse practice environment at the unit level. In addition, the model including age, unit-level nurse practice environment explained 23.0% of the variance for nurse turnover intention. Hospital can improve nurse retention and lower turnover intention by changing the nurse practice environment of unit, such as nurse participation in hospital affairs, improvement of the nurse manager leadership and nurse-physician collaborative relationships.

A Study on the Influential Factors of the Dental Hygienist's Professionalism (치과위생사의 전문직업성에 관한 영향요인 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the professionalism of dental hygienists in dental institutions and the influential factors for their professionalism in an attempt to seek ways of enhancing the professionalism of dental hygienists. The subjects in this study were 172 dental hygienists who worked in dental institutions in Busan and Gimhae. A self-administered survey was conducted to gather data, and an experimental analysis was carried out to analyze the collected data. The major findings of the study were as follows: First, concerning professionalism, self-regulation belief(3.70) ranked highest(3.42), followed by service belief(3.65), autonomy belief(3.31), a sense of vocational calling(3.30) and utilization of the professional organization as a standard(3.12). Second, the professionalism of the dental hygienists was significantly better when their title was higher, when they were older, when they got a larger monthly pay and when they intended to work for a longer time. Third, as for the influential factors for their professionalism, age, marital status, the estimated term of working at the workplace and opinion on reemployment were also identified as the significant variables that were up to the standard level of significance(p=0.05). The findings of the study suggest that in order to boost the professionalism of dental hygienists, it's required to take institutional measures to give them more responsibility, autonomy and authority, and how to improve personnel administration by providing strong motivation for them to look at their workplaces more favorably and keep on working for a long time should discreetly be considered.

Impact of self image and self-esteem on job satisfaction of 119 Rescue workers (119구급대원의 자기이미지와 자아존중감이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aimed to investigate the influence of self-image, and self-esteem of 119 Rescue workers in D city on job satisfaction. This research design was a descriptive study. Data were collected from November 19, 2012 to December 08, 2012, analyzed by SPSS 20.0 program. There were statistical difference between age, period of employment, position, and license and self-image. There were statistical difference between age, position, license and self-esteem. There were statistical differences between age, period of employment, position and job satisfaction. Job satisfaction was positively related to self-image and self-esteem. In the multivariate regression analysis, adjusted R2 value was 0.268. It is necessary to enhance the career and awareness of job satisfaction of 119 rescue workers.

The Relationship between Teachers' Efficacy Belief and Interactions of Teachers and Children (보육교사의 교사효능감과 교사-유아 상호작용과의 관계)

  • The goal of this study was to examine the relationship between teachers' efficacy belief and interactions between teachers and children of childcare teachers, and utilize the results as the basic data to educate of teachers. The subjects were 205 teachers at 48 childcare centers located in the Jeonlabukdo area. The results of this study are as follows: First, personal teaching efficacy and factors of interactions between teachers and children were significantly different by the types of childcare institution. Second, personal teaching efficacy was correlated positively with teachers' experiences. General teaching efficacy, personal teaching efficacy and factors of interactions between teachers and children were correlated positively with teachers' age. Third, factors of interactions between teachers and children were correlated positively with personal teaching efficacy. Lastly, personal teaching efficacy was the most powerful variable influencing interactions between teachers and children.
