The purpose of this study was to identify the degree of medical inequality in medical vulnerable areas, especially in the southwestern islands, and to prepare improvements. As a research method, 14 pieces were analyzed by systematic literature review with keywords such as 'medical vulnerability', 'medical inequality', and 'island area', and a focus group or in-depth interview (FGI) was conducted on 9 medical personnel in the public medical delivery system to identify the current status and demand. As a result of the study, medical inequality in the southwest region, especially in island areas, was confirmed, and the lack of professional manpower and administrative support system were confirmed through FGI. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that realistic measures should be prepared to increase the efficiency of public health care as well as active administrative support to improve the vulnerability of island areas.

The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics of school library services using the RGT (repertory grid technique), and to examine whether there are differences in the perceptions and internal experiences of school library services between human resources (librarian teachers, subject teachers, and librarians). I used indicators such as element intensity, construct extremity, discrepant constructs, and implicative dilemmas to analyze the characteristics of school library services. The elements of the repertory grid were set to 9, and 14 constructs were set through focus group interviews with 3 librarian-teachers. The GRIDCOR 6.0, which can be accessed online, was used to complete the repertory grid for 30 graduate students of the College of Education, and 6 of them were selected and analyzed, considering the demographic characteristics. From the perspective of element intensity, it was found that the following school library services are important and influential: resource management, teacher-librarian collaboration, and reading and information counseling services. The clarity of one's role, the actual performance, and self-regulatory ability were ranked high from the perspective of constructs intensity.
Objectives: Our previously published study showed that a workplace nutrition intervention program with personalized goal setting and smartphone-based nutrition counseling improved dietary habits and physical activity in city bus drivers who were overweight/obese. This study explored the facilitators and barriers that participants faced in achieving their dietary and physical activity goals six months after the intervention. Methods: The study included bus drivers and dietitians who participated in the intervention program. Three focus group interviews were conducted with 10 bus drivers (divided by two groups based on their achievement of set goals) and five dietitians who had provided nutrition counseling. Results: Willpower was the most important intrapersonal facilitator for drivers to achieve their goals. Other factors that promoted behavioral changes were nutrition counseling by dietitians, trackable physical activity using smartwatches, and setting of practical and achievable goals. Meanwhile, the most important barriers identified were occupational factors such as long driving hours, short breaks, and shift work. Other barriers were environmental factors such as availability of snackable food, accessibility to convenience stores, and cold weather. Family and colleagues were perceived as both facilitators and barriers. In addition, dietitians identified a lack of knowledge about healthy diet as one of the barriers. Conclusions: Our results suggested that the workplace environment should be improved and that nutrition intervention programs at the workplace could encourage bus drivers to practice healthy eating habits. The facilitators and barriers identified in this study should be considered when planning a nutrition intervention program for bus drivers.

In this research endeavor, we engaged with 70 construction safety specialists from established construction firms through surveys and interviews. The primary aim was to dissect and understand the weight and ramifications of specific cost items within the Occupational Safety and Health Management Funds(OSHMF) and Safety Management Expenses(SME). From our analysis, salient insights emerged. Within the realm of OSHMF, the cost items associated with safety facilities and the remunerations of safety managers were identified as paramount. It was observed that there are marked variations in the perceived significance and repercussions associated with diverse cost items of OSHMF. In stark contrast, when assessing the SME, the nuances in perceived weight and consequences of individual cost items were relatively muted, suggesting a more uniform viewpoint among the experts. Furthermore, our research probed the interrelationship between the significance and repercussions within OSHMF and SME domains. Notably, OSHMF manifested a positive linear relationship, suggesting that cost items of higher importance invariably had a more pronounced effect. On the other hand, the SME showcased a more subtle association, hinting at intricate underlying dynamics. The outcomes of this investigation are poised to offer instrumental guidance for enhancing safety protocols and diminishing accident occurrences in domestic construction undertakings.

The purpose of this study is to prepare basic data for establishing a mid-to long-term comprehensive development plan for Gangdong-gu libraries by analyzing the results of a perception survey conducted on local residents, librarians and operators. To achieve the research purpose, a survey was conducted targeting 1,224 library users and non-users in Gangdong-gu. To collect more in-depth opinions, focus group interviews were also conducted with local residents, librarians at public libraries and book cafe libraries, and operators of small libraries. As a result, for the efficient operation of the Gangdong-gu library, it is necessary to establish the role of each library to adjust and reorganize specialization to form an ecosystem, to introduce services and programs without time and space restrictions required in the information society, and to actively promote and attract non-users to the library. The conclusion drawn is that it is necessary to establish a system and support system that can encompass various types of libraries.

This study conducted an analysis of the changes in social work fields, focusing on the 'generational differences' after the COVID-19. As a result of the study, various opinions were presented in two areas: experience and perception of social workers and requirements of social workers. Social workers in their 20s had many requests for improvement of the current working environment and the Local Government and the Association, and those in their 4~50s had many comments about the working environment. Based on these research results, this study proposed the following practical and policy improvement measures. First, it is necessary to improve the low level of salary, work conditions and environment. Second, a safe work environment is required. Third, it is necessary to pay attention to the changed perceptions of social workers and make efforts to match them.

To promote libraries as "Libraries for All," it is essential to assess the current state of regional library infrastructures and explore policy support strategies for their improvement. This study develops the 'Library Vitality Index' as a metric to evaluate libraries' capabilities as sustainable infrastructures. The index assesses various aspects, including libraries' environmental responsiveness, accessible design, level of digital transformation, and capacity to provide universal cultural services. The research involved a comprehensive review of domestic and international cases, Delphi surveys, and expert group interviews to derive the final set of indicators. These indicators were weighted based on their importance using AHP analysis. The final index consists of three components: regional library activation (300 points), individual library capacity (470 points), and feedback systems (30 points), with a total of 800 points. The index includes 108 items, divided into 14 for regional library activation, 88 for individual library capacity, and 6 for feedback systems.
