공액근사개념 및 변위장 반복계산에 의한 국부응력장 개선 연구

  • 변위형 유한요소해에 기초하고 공액근사개념 및 Loubignac의 변위장 개선방법을 국부영역에 적용하여 국부영역에서의 응력장의 정확도를 향상시킬 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 방법에서 계산된 국부영역의 응력장은 전체영역에 대한 응력장 개선 결과에 근접하며 유한요소 평형방정식을 잘 만족하친 있을 뿐만 아니라 수회 이내의 반복계산내에 수렴하고 있어서 계산시간이 크게 줄어들 수 있어서 국부영역에 대한 상세응력해석에 적절하게 이용될 수 있다.

  • This study involves the development of a computer program to analyze the local buckling stresses for the flange and the web of I-beams under compression at elevated temperatures, and the optimization algorithm to analyze the optimum width-thickness ratios which does not occur their local buckling prior to yield failure. The high-temperature stress-strain relationships of steel used in this study were based on EC3 (Eurocode3) Part1.2 (2000b). In this study, the local buckling stresses and the optimum width-thichness ratios were analyzed considering the influences of the yield stress, local buckling coefficients and width-thickness ratios of the flange and the web. Design examples show the applicability of the computer program developed in this study.

  • This study predicts the stress history for truss bridge with local damages by using global-local model combination method. For this end, the global structure is modeled by 3D frame elements and the selected local details are modeled by shell elements. Then superposition principle enable the global-local model to be combined interactively. Because the frame model cannot consider the rigidity of gusset plate and the interation of structural members due to the complexity of stress distribution in truss connection. The section modification factors are proposed to calibrate the stiffness of global frame element. The global-local model combination is verified by comparing the numerical results with experimental data obtained from the proof loading test to the operating truss bridge. Furthermore, stress histrories of the truss bridge are generated in the consideration of the rigidity of truss connection with local damage by using the combination method.

  • The stress analysis of cold-formed channel section steel beams under transverse load was conducted. The local buckling effect was included in the analysis using effective area concept. The proposed analytical model is capable of predicting accurate normal stress in the beam due to various behaviors including biaxial bending and warping. It was found to be appropriate for predicting stresses as well as deflection in the beam. A finite element model was developed to solve the analytical model.

  • 선형 탄성 유한요소 응력해석과 평균응력 효과를 고려한 저주기 피로실험으로부터 결정된 피로 특성, 그리고 국부변형률 방법을 종합하여 외경에 흠이 존재하는 자긴가공된 두꺼운 압력 용기의 피로수명이 평가되었다. 직사각형의 매우 날카로운 흠에서의 응력집중계수는 타원형 홈에서의 응력집중계수의 약 두배의 값이 얻어졌으며, 고강도 압력용기강인 ASTM A723의 저주기 피 로거동에 대한 평균응력 영향은 Morrow 및 SWT 파라메타를 이용하여 충분히 고려되었다. 균열발생이 예상되는 위험한 부분인 홈의 뿌리부분에서의 국부적인 응력, 변형률이 계산되었으며 예측된 피로수명은 실험적으로 얻어진 수명과 비교했을 때 2에서 4배의 오차를 보이면서 일치 하는 결과를 얻었다.

An Investigation on the Characteristics of Local Factors of Safety of Rock Failure and Their Dependency on the Stress Paths (암석파괴 국부안전율의 특성과 응력경로 의존성 고찰)

  • The factor of safety (FOS) is commonly used as an index to quantitatively state the degree of safety of various rock structures. Therefore it is important to understand the definition and characteristics of the adopted FOS because the calculated FOS may be different according to the definition of FOS even if it is estimated under the same stress condition. In this study, four local factors of safety based on maximum shear stress, maximum shear strength, stress invariants, and maximum principal stress were defined using the Mohr-Coulomb and Hoek-Brown failure criteria. Then, the variation characteristics of each FOS along five stress paths were investigated. It is shown that the local FOS based on the shear strength, which is widely used in the stability analysis of rock structures, results in a higher FOS value than those based on the maximum principal stress and the stress invariants. This result implies that the local FOS based on the maximum shear stress or the stress invariants is more necessary than the local FOS based on the shear strength when the conservative rock mechanics design is required. In addition, it is shown that the maximum principal stresses at failure may reveal a large difference depending on the stress path.

  • 세그멘탈 교량에 포스트 텐셔닝 힘을 도입할 때 발생하는 가장 큰 문제는 균열의 발생이다. 이러한 균열은 실제 구조물의 강도감소 뿐 아니라, 이 균열은 염분 및 수분 침투의 통로가 되어, 부식 및 동결손상의 주원인이 되어 구조안전도에 큰 문제를 유발한다. 본 연구는 국부 집중 하중을 받는 프리스트레스 정착부의 응력분포 특성을 규명하고, 국부집중응력으로 인한 균열 발생 요인을 규명하여, 균열발생방지방안 및 그 대책을 강구함에 그 근본 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 텐던에 대한 형상, 국부보강방식, 단일 및 복수텐던의 영향, 구조보강 철근량에 따른 콘크리트 내부 변형도 및 균열양상을 도출하기 위해, 부재를 제작하여 실험을 실시하여 균열의 양상 및 균열발생원인을 조사하고, 그 구체적 보강방안을 찾고자 한다.

  • This paper discusses the development of a computer program to analyze elastic local buckling stress based on Eurocode 3 Part 1.3 for the flange and web of cold-formed channel columns under compression at elevated temperatures. The high-temperature, stress-strain relationships of the steel used in this paper were determined according to Eurocode 3 Part 1.2. The critical temperatures and the elastic local buckling stresses of cold-formed channel columns under compression at elevated temperatures were analyzed with the computer program developed in this study. Analysis examples were given to show the applicability of the computer program.

  • This paper dealt with the local buckling of H-beams investigated mainly using the parameters of load ratios. load conditions, and support boundary condition considering predicted uniformly elevated temperatures. The physical properties of the material at elevated temperatures followed EC3 Park 1.2. The local buckling of the plates in steel beams show that they are governed by the yield stress or the critical stress of the steel plates according to the ratios of b/tf, d/tw. The evaluation of uniformly heated steel beams on the local buckling considered the stress and moment ratios to the LRFD.

  • The stress analysis of cold-formed channel section steel beams under transverse load is presented. The local buckling as well as the lateral buckling effects are included in the analysis. The analytical model is developed based on the thin-walled beam theory, and a one-dimensional finite element model is formulated to solve the analytical model. Numerical results are compared with AISI code. It shows that the proposed model is appropriate for predicting of stress as well as deflection of the cold-formed channel section beam.
