To analyze delay, Seoul - Daegu line of Korea High Speed Railway was divided into three sections and analyzed independently by the business characteristics. The analysis on the project delay reasons was performed on macro and micro scales. This analytic method was named as 'Macro-Micro Delay Analysis Method (MMDAM)'. The macro scale analysis has three approaches, which are (1) scheduling, (3) structural characteristic, (3) and responsibility of project administrative works. Micro analysis also has three, methodologies which are (1) As Planned Method, (2) As Built method, (3) Modified Time Impact Analysis for analyzing the most influential section which the largest delay occurred. Using elicited project delay reasons from above analysis, the questionnaire was carried out for analyzing the influence of project delay reason. The reasons of the delay were driven from two different aspects (1) structural characteristic and (2) responsibility of the people involved in the project. The reasons that were identified from aforementioned three sections are the factors of the delay of the large-scale government driven projects. Finally, the author suggested the methodology of identifying the project delaying factors. The author also analyzed delay reasons in both the overseas and domestic cases of high rapid railway construction and has elicited some benchmarks for the future projects.
This study is aimed at examining the degree in message recognitions with respect to the same global brand Ad. campaign intended for local consumers in Korea, China, and United-States, and applying the results to the forseeable message production of global Ad. campaigns. For this purpose, we conducted a survey by providing those consumers with Anycall Ads. of Samsung mobile phones, which were inserted in local printed advertisements. We concluded that the cultural and environmental differences of markets represent different degrees in message recognitions among these three countries. This result suggests that the localization based on local cultures and market situations is more important than the general standardization in the future global brand Ad. campaigns.

Analysis of a long cycle or a trend of time series data based on a long-term observation would require comparability between data observed in the past and the present. In the present study, we proposed an approach to ensure the compatibility among the instruments used for the long-term observation, which would allow to secure continuity of the data. An open-path gas analyzer (Model LI-7500, LI-COR, Inc., USA) has been used for eddy covariance flux measurement in the Gwangneung deciduous forest for more than 10 years. The open-path gas analyzer was replaced by an enclosed-path gas analyzer (Model EC155, Campbell Scientific, Inc., USA) in July 2015. Before completely replacing the gas analyzer, the carbon dioxide ($CO_2$) and latent heat fluxes were collected using both gas analyzers simultaneously during a five-month period from August to December in 2015. It was found that the $CO_2$ fluxes were not significantly different between the gas analyzers under the condition that the daily mean temperature was higher than $0^{\circ}C$. However, the $CO_2$ flux measured by the open-path gas analyzer was negatively biased (from positive sign, i.e., carbon source, to 0 or negative sign, i.e., carbon neutral or sink) due to the instrument surface heating under the condition that the daily mean temperature was lower than $0^{\circ}C$. Despite applying the frequency response correction associated with tube attenuation of water vapor, the latent heat flux measured by the enclosed-path gas analyzer was on average 9% smaller than that measured by the open-path gas analyzer, which resulted in >20% difference of the sums over the study period. These results indicated that application of the additional air density correction would be needed due to the instrument heat and analysis of the long-term observational flux data would be facilitated by understanding the underestimation tendency of latent heat flux measurements by an enclosed-path gas analyzer.

Standards are essential to facilitate the efficient use of GIS data. International Standards such as ISO TC211's 19100 series and various technical specifications from OpenGIS Consortium are some of the examples of efforts to maintain the interoperability among GIS applications. Marine GIS is no exception to this rule and in this context. developing standards for marine GIS is also in urgent needs. Using the same meaning and definition for the features commonly found in marine GIS applications is one of the ways to increase the interoperability among systems. One of the key requirements for maintaining the standard meanings for features is to build a common feature catalogue. This paper examines the concept of feature catalogue and describe the ways in which the feature catalogue can be organized. To identify the common features found in various marine GIS applications, a comprehensive search has been made to collect and analyze the features used in various applications. To maintain the interoperability with the National GIS (NGIS) system, the features used in various NGIS applications have been analyzed as well. The result of these analyses are used to create a comprehensive list of common features for marine GIS. This paper then explains the common feature catalogue for marine GIS and the provides the appropriate classification and coding systems for the common features. In addition, a registration tool for registering the common features into the standard registry has been developed in this study. This Web-based tool can be used to input features into the feature catalogue by various applications and also to maintain a standard-compliant feature catalogue by standard agencies.

The purpose of this study is to propose the rational mountain stream management strategy considering the natural conditions and social needs of the Republic of Korea. We reviewed domestic and overseas studies related to mountain streams, identified the study areas by text mining and co-word analysis using the VOSviewer program, and then analyzed the spatial and temporal study trends and topics of each study area. The results showed that domestic studies on mountain streams are still in an initial stage compared to overseas studies. Overseas studies on mountain streams can be classified into four groups: (i) habitat and species composition of fish and invertebrates, (ii) hydrological phenomena and nutrient migration, (iii) transport of sediment and organic materials and the relevant morphological changes by runoff flows, and (iv) plant species composition in mountain streams. Of these study subjects, domestic studies belonging to the (i) group mainly focused on macroinvertebrates while domestic studies belonging to the (iii) group regarded transport of sediment and organic materials as not the ecological disturbance but the source of sediment-related disasters. We then analyzed the rate of each research group to all papers by period and country. The results showed that the overseas studies belonging to (iii) and (iv) groups have increased with time, and the increase was mostly due to the studies in the United States, Brazil, Canada, and China. On the other hand, domestic studies belonging to (i) and (iii) groups increased somewhat with time, but there was a slight lack of correlation between the two subjects. Therefore, the hybridity studies to complement the shortage is necessary for the future.

The Korean education curriculum is making efforts to improve education to foster competencies that the future society demands through the 2007 and 2009 revised curriculum. The revised curricula focus on enhanced articulation for the quality curriculum. In this study, the curriculum is analyzed for vertical and horizontal articulation. In addition, the study found a problem in Korea's curriculum through international comparison and sought improvement. Furthermore, the study compared internationally articulation of the concept of photosynthesis, of which the results are as follows. First, our science curriculum focuses on vertical articulation and has relatively neglected the problem of horizontal articulation. To compensate for this problem, curriculum design should introduce aspects of 'nature' and 'environment' and should consider the interests and concerns of students, as countries with high horizontal articulation do. Second, the actual education field has a problem with the a lack of continuity and sequence because of concentration of concept in a specific grade or simply repeating the concept across multiple grades. These results have led to alternative proposals that should arrange basis of concept configuration such as 'Big Idea' and should establish the adoption of 'systems' frequently appearing in the other curricula. Finally, there may be mentioned a lack of research on students' learning progression, which can be a common standard of horizontal and vertical articulation. Research on learning progression has been a trend overseas, but there exists no study to fit Korea's situation, so education fields need to conduct the appropriate research on learning progression as part of the commitment to high-quality curriculum.
This work aimed to investigate the changes in the nutrient contents and antioxidant activity of Peucedanum japonicum Thunb. by ripening stage, growing condition, and blanching. The crude protein content of the young leaves (3.6~4.3%) was higher than that of the mature leaves (3.1~3.9%). Higher calcium contents were observed in the greenhouse-cultivated samples (225.9~259.2 mg/100 g) compared to the field-cultivated samples (178.5~199.5 mg/100 g). The vitamin C and folate contents (18.1~83.8 and 175.8~220.2 mg/100 g, respectively) of the field-cultivated samples were significantly (p<0.05) higher than those of the greenhouse-cultivated samples (13.1~57.7 and 133.0~148.8 mg/100 g, respectively). The growing condition and blanching were significant factors affecting the changes in the vitamin and polyphenol contents. The ${\beta}$ carotene contents of the blanched samples increased 2.6-fold compared to those of the raw samples. The total polyphenol contents (10.2~17.1 mg/g extract) and DPPH radical scavenging activity ($IC_{50}=2.0{\sim}3.0mg/ml$) of the blanched samples were significantly (p<0.05) higher than those of the raw samples (1.8~4.3 and $IC_{50}=16.2{\sim}21.1mg/ml$, respectively).

The purpose of this study was to analysis the home economics education curriculum from the first national curriculum to the 2015 revised curriculum using text mining techniques used in big data analysis. The subjects of the analysis were 10 curriculum texts from the first national curriculum to the 2015 revised curriculum via the National Curriculum Information Center. The major findings of this study were as follows; First, the number of data from the 4th curriculum to the 2015 revised curriculum gradually increased. Second, as a result of extracting core concept of the curriculum, there were core concept words that were changed and maintained according to the curriculum. 'Life' and 'home' were core concepts that persisted regardless of changes in the curriculum, after the 2007 revised curriculum, 'problem', 'ability', 'solution' and 'practice' were emphasized. Third, through core concept network analysis for each curriculum, the relationship between core concepts is represented by nodes and lines in each home economics curriculum. As a result, it was confirmed that the core concepts emphasized by the times are strongly connected with 'life' and 'home'. Based on these results, this study is meaningful in that it provides basic data to form the identity and the existing direction of home economics education.
The purpose of this study is to verify empirically whether or not the linguistically creative problem-solving ability progress by developing and applying an enrichment learning program for the verbally gifted elementary school students. The total number of the verbally gifted students who participated in this study were 60 children. Half of them were subjects for evaluating the appropriateness of the enrichment learning program and the verbally creative problem-solving ability test developed by the researcher. The other half were divided into three groups for applying the teaching materials by Korean Educational Development Institute, the enrichment learning program by the present researcher, and the textbook enrichment program. The data were analyzed by the statistical method of repeated measures ANOVA. The results were as follows: First, the enrichment learning program developed by this researcher has greatly contributed to the advancement of verbally creative problem-solving ability. The program was especially effective in reading and writing, but not in speaking. second, the sub-category of reading includes factual, inferential·critical, and imaginary understanding. Among them, factual and imaginary understanding had not significantly advanced, while inferential·critical understanding had significant progression. Third, it was found that both logical and creative expression did not improve significantly by the enrichment learning program developed by the present researcher. Speaking is difficult to instruct. In conclusion, it was found that the systematic enrichment learning program was effective in developing language skills of the verbally gifted elementary school children. It was also proved to be more effective to teach them reading and writing together in everyday life. Also, it was turned out that continuous development of the enrichment learning program for the verbally gifted students is needed.
Since the first radioimmunoassay (RIA) was developed in 1970s, many conventional RIAs and non-isotopic immunoassays (NIA) had been developed in which the degree of precision, accuracy, specificity and practicability have progressively increased. Recently ultrasensitive assay method at femtogram to determine testosterone in serum, saliva and feces is required for the study of sexual dysfunctions in male and female, monitoring the psychological stress and conditions, aging process such as menopause and partial androgen deficiency in aging male, the hormonal changes of small experimental animals etc. This review discussed the recentd evelopments of steroid assay methods, based upon the testosterone assay results of authors far 20 years, and the problems associated the assay set-up, the characterizations and applications of the established procedures, and desifls of assay, reliablity criteria, and the practical aspects of assay set-up and application, based upon the data of the authors. The present study demonstrates the general problems methods to be consider in order to set up the highly sensitive assay methods and to increase the assay quality and the necessity of assay quality control program. To improve the assay quality of each laboratory and to compare the assay results in homeland, the national QC programs should be organized.
