B University located in area A from April 5, 2017 to April 12, 2017. They were provided with education, and given two surveys before and after the education. The survey data were analyzed with the SPSS 19.0 program using T-test. The findings of the analysis are as follows. After the education, fear of dental treatment was reduced more among students in the public Health Department than among those in other departments. After education on dental treatment, there were greater changes in oral health among students in non-public health departments than those in the Public Health Department. There were grater changes in oral health among students in the Public Health Department than those in other departments. It is necessary to cultivate dental technicians through efficient and professional education, and those dental technicians should serve to reduce fear of dental care among the people, and change consciousness on such treatments. Accordingly, it is necessary to develop efficient education programs to reduce fear and increase the consciousness of dental health among people, and make people not afraid of coming to dental clinic.
This study was conducted to narrow the view on this by analyzing the difference between dental hygienists and patients' cognition and oral health education of scaling. The study was total 202 people were finally analyzed. The method of analysis compared the cognition of scaling and oral health education, and a hierarchical regression analysis was conducted to check the effect of cognition and oral health education on dental selection by stages. As a result, there were significant differences in all but one of the nine items of cognition for scaling (p<0.01) and significant differences appeared in all but seven of the 19 categories of oral health education for scaling (p<0.01). Therefore, dental hygienists will have to seek ways to reduce these differences and continue to study how to explain them in scaling so that they can have a positive impact on patients' dental clinic choices.

The portion of certification in the respondents was 28.9 percent, as compared to the 71.1percent of non-certification. The major reasons of non-certification were not-applying(44.6%), participation rejected (29.3%). 3. The purpose of this study was to improve efficacy of oral health education in children and adolescents based on the experience and perception of oral health education in young adults who graduated from high school within 10 years. Questionnaires were given to 412 people, and among them, 388 completed survey forms were selected. The questionnaire included categories which examined one's experience and perception of oral health education, oral health knowledge, dental history, and oral health behavior. The results showed that the respondents perceived elementary school as the most effective period of oral health education. Oral examination with direct explanation was the most preferred method of oral health education, but web search was the main source of oral health information. And knowledge of fluoride and sealant about caries preventive effect was still lacking. Considering these results, oral examination with direct explanation and web search would be useful to improve efficacy of oral health education in children and adolescents.

This study examined the relationship between the oral health knowledge of infants and the oral health management of their mothers. The participants were 198 mothers living in D city. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficients with the SPSS/PC 20.0 program. The results revealed oral health to be a serious problem, and that a visit to a dentist regularly is important. The relationship between the oral health awareness and the confidence that can keep cavities from children did not show significant progress on any topic. A relationship was observed between oral health knowledge and confidence in children who visit a dentist once a year, and a negative correlation between the first visit times and the effects of fluoride on the teeth. The relationship between oral health awareness and mothers' confidence when their children felt a toothache was better when they visited a dental clinic and their knowledge about infant food and beverages without sugar improved. The results of this study can be used to improve the program for the mother's oral health knowledge and effective management in children's education.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine if self-rated oral health differed according to self-reported oral health behaviors in Korean adolescents. Methods: The raw data of 'The 6th Youth Health Behavior Online Survey' carried out by the Korea Center for Disease Control and Prevention were analysed. Independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Logistic regression analysis were used to assess the relationships between oral health behaviors and self-rated oral health (n=73,238). Results:Oral health behaviors had stronger influence on daily toothbrushing habits. In particular, participants who brushed their teeth in the morning and participants who brushed their teeth more than 3 times a day were more likely to have good self-rated oral (P<0.001). Conclusions: Korean adolescents with high self-rated oral health reported practicing good oral health behaviors. These results highlight the need for the further practicable oral health education programs.
