  • 가입자계 광선로 고장은 서비스 중단과 직결될 수 있기 때문에 사고 발생을 미연에 방지하는 것이 가장 최선의 방법일 것이다. 본 고에서는 시스템 보호절체 기능이 없는 장치가 보급된 구간에서 가입자망 광선로의 이중화를 통하여 운용중인 광선로의 절단과 같은 사고 발생시 자동으로 예비 광선로로 스위칭해 주어 서비스 중단을 사전에 예방할 수 있는 가입자계 광선로 자동절체 모듈과 자동절체 행위가 발생할 경우 그 상황을 운용자가 쉽게 관리할 수 있는 절체상황 관리 방법에 대하여 살펴보았다.

  • 콘태이너 선박은 출발항과 종착항의 두항구 사이를 잇는 지정된 항로를 오가면서 항로의 중도에 있는 각 항구에 기항하여 화물을 상.하역하는 형태로 각 항구 사이의 화물운송을 수행한다. 이때 이윤을 최대화 하기 위해서 선박을 어느 항구에 기항하고, 또 기항하는 항구에서는 얼마만큼의 화물을 항.하역할 것인지를 적절하게 결정해야 한다. 이러한 콘테이너 선박 운항경로 문제를 모형화 하고, 0-1 혼합정수 계획법을 이용한 수리모형을 제시한 후, 최소비용 흐름문제와 분지한계 기법을 이용한 최적해법을 제시하였다. 본 논문에서는 제시한 해법에서는 먼저, 기항하기로 한 항구의 집합에 따라 부분문제를 정의한다. 또한 분해된 부분문제에서 추가로 기항할 항구들에 대한 운항구간의 적제 한계와 운항비용을 완화시킨 문제를 정의하고, 그것을 다시 최소비용흐름문제를 이용하여 풀어서 상한값ㄹ 구한다. 이와 같은 방법으로 각 부분문제의 하한값과 하한값을 계신히여, 그것을 이용하여 분지를 절단하고, 또한 상한값이 높은 부분문제를 우선적으로 선택하여 분지합으로써 최적해를 구한다.

  • The accidnet of breaking insulator rod leads to inturruption of moving the subway. We investigate the analysis of analysis of breaking accident of FRP insulator rod installed in dead section for catenary feeding system. To analysis of accident reason, SEM is used to analysis microscopic struture on surface of cross section of broken FRP insulator rod. At the same time, we examine the chage of atomic amount on solace of accident insulator through EDX analysis. Also, the test for tensional breaking load is condoled to check the mechanical strength.

  • In this paper, we present the method transforming the interval functions into the truncated difference functions for multi-variable multi-valued functions and implementing the truncated difference functions to the multiple valued logic circuits with uniform patterns using the current mirror circuits and the inhibit circuits by current-mode CMOS. Also, we apply the presented methods to the implementation of circuits for additive truth table of 2-variable 4-valued MOD(4) and multiplicative truth table of 2-variable 4-valued finite fields GF(4). These circuits are simulated under 2${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ CMOS standard technology, 15$mutextrm{A}$ unit current, and 3.3V power supply voltage using PSpice. The simulation results have shown the satisfying current characteristics. Both implemented circuits using current-mode CMOS have the uniform Patterns and the regularity of interconnection. Also, it is expansible for the variables of multiple valued logic functions and are suitable for VLSI implementation.

Estimation of the survival function of the legislative process in Korea: based on the experiences of the 17th, 18th, and 19th National Assembly of Korea (국회 법안 검토 기간의 생존함수 추정: 제 17, 18, 19대 국회의 사례를 바탕으로)

  • In this study we estimate the survival function of duration of the legislative processes in the 17th, 18th, and 19th National Assembly of Korea, and further analyze effects of the political situation variables on the legislative process. We define the termination of legislative process from a novel perspective to alleviate issues of dependency between censoring and failure in the data. We also show that the proportional hazards assumption does not hold for the data, and analyze data employing a log-normal accelerated failure time model. The policy areas of law agendas are shown to affect the speed of legislative process in different ways and legislative process tends to be prompt in times of divided governments.

Joint Behavior of Concrete Pavements Using Joint Crack Inducer (줄눈균열 유도장치를 사용한 콘크리트 포장의 줄눈거동)

  • Joint of concrete pavement contributes to improvement of pavement performance by preventing occurrence of random cracking due to drying shrinkage and temperature changes of concrete slabs at early age. However, saw-cutting operations performed prior to sufficient concrete hardening develop micro-cracking of the concrete near the joints, which may develop to long-term distresses due to repetitious traffic and environmental loadings. To reduce the distresses, the joint crack inducers with heights of 100 mm, 150 mm, and 220 mm and the joint cracking slots with various depth were installed at a test section to investigate occurrence of the joint cracks and their behaviors over 5 months. As the results, higher efficiency of the crack inducing and larger behavior of the joint cracks were observed for the taller joint crack inducer. Higher efficiency of the crack inducing and improvement of the joint performance are warranted by additional investigation and reformation of the joint crack inducer.

Development History of Neotectonic Fault Zone in the Singye-ri Valley, Oedong-eup, Gyeongju, Korea (경주시 외동읍 신계리 계곡에 발달하는 신기 단층대 발달사)

  • The Ulsan Fault Zone (UFZ) of NNW trend is developed in the Gyeongsang Basin, the southeastern part of the Korean Peninsula, and the Quaternary faults have been found around the UFZ. The faults generally thrust the Bulguksa igneous rocks of Late Cretaceous-Early Tertiary upon the Quaternary deposits or are developed within the Quaternary deposits. They mainly show the reverse-slip sense of top-to-the west movement. The lines connecting the their outcrop sites show a zigzag-form which is similar to the orientation of their fault surfaces which show the various trends, like (W)NW, N-S, (E)NE, ENE trends. The E-W trending dextral strike(-slip) fault is found in the Quaternary deposits of the Singye-ri valley. It cuts the N-S trending reverse fault and are cut by the N-S trending thrust fault again. Two types of at least two times of Quaternary tectonic movements related to the formation of neotectonic fault zone in the Singye-ri valley are considered from such the geometric and kinematic characteristics of Quaternary faults. One is the reverse faulting of N-S trend by the E-W directed 1st compression and associated the strike-slip tear faulting of E-W trend, and then the thrust faulting of N-S trend by the E-W directed 2nd compression. The other is the reverse faulting of N-S trend, and then the dextral strike-slip faulting of E-W trend by the NW-SE directed compression, and then the thrust faulting of N-S trend. In this paper is suggested the development history of Singye-ri neotectonic fault zone on the basis of the various orientations of Quaternary fault surfaces around the UFZ, and the zigzag-form connecting line of their outcrop sites, and the compressive arc-shaped lineaments which convex to the west reported recently in the Yangsan Fault Zone.

Benefit Analysis of Quality Incresement Based on Meat Quality Testing of Breeding Pig (돈육 육질 검정에 따른 품질 증가의 편익 분석에 관한 연구)

  • Willingness-to-pay (WTP) for pork produced by quality test was determined using a contingent valuation method. Three model studies including a dichotomous-choice and two double dichotomous-choice types were conducted. The respondents in this study appropriately understood the contingent valuation and the suggested price was significant as a characteristic variable. The results imply that there is lower chance to select pork produced by the quality test, as the price difference is greater between conventional and quality-tested pork. WTPs in double and single contingent valuation models were 735 and 547 won/100 g, respectively. WTP was increased with increasing the educational level of respondents. The average WTPs analyzed by convariate were 1,015 won/100 g for double contingent valuation and 580 won/100 g for single contingent valuation. Considering the minimum price of WTP of pork produced by quality test (547.4 won/100 g), the total economic value was estimated to be 5,173,600 million won and per capita customer value was 106,000 won. Therefore, providing an institutional strategy for pork quality test will be beneficial for the consumers.

Evaluation of Train Running Safety During Construction of Temporary Bridge on Existing Railway (기존선에서 가설교량 시공에 따른 열차의 주행안전성 평가)

  • Installing the temporary bridge after excavating the railway requires installing movable cross beam, but as it doesn't requires isolating the catenary or cutting the rail, it's applicable to double-track with frequent operation. In this study, a displacement meter was placed on temporary bridge to monitor the displacement pattern in curve section (R400) completed using temporary bridge method, and wheel load, lateral pressure and derailment coefficient were measured to evaluate the load imposed on track and the stability in curve section (R400) for quantitative evaluation of training running safety. As a result of the measurement, when trains passing over a temporary bridge, the maximum value of Wheel load and Lateral Force is analyzed as the 51% and 81% of standard level according to foreign country's performance tests, There is no trouble with stability analysis in Wheel load and Lateral Force occurring. Additionally, Wheel load and Lateral Force considered as the safety standard are tested 49% of limiting value regardless of trains, which the norm value quite well, there is no problem with train running.

Undecided inference using bivariate probit models (이변량 프로빗모형을 이용한 미결정자 추론)

  • When it is not easy to decide the credit scoring for some loan applicants, credit evaluation is postponded and reserve to ask a specialist for further evaluation of undecided applicants. This undecided inference is one of problems that happen to most statistical models including the biostatistics and sportal statistics as well as credit evaluation area. In this work, the undecided inference is regarded as a missing data mechanism under the assumption of MNAR, and use the bivariate probit model which is one of sample selection models. Two undecided inference methods are proposed: one is to make use of characteristic variables to represent the state for decided applicants, and the other is that more accurate and additional informations are collected and apply these new variables. With an illustrated example, misclassification error rates for undecided and overall applicants are obtainded and compared according to various characteristic variables, undecided intervals, and thresholds. It is found that misclassification error rates could be reduced when the undecided interval is increased and more accurate information is put to model, since more accurate situation of decided applications are reflected in the bivariate probit model.
