The Design of a Multimedia Program for Environment Education in Elementary Schools (환경교육을 위한 멀티미디어 프로그램 설계 방안 연구)

  • 기존의 멀티 프로그램이나 환경에 관한 인터넷 사이트의 환경교육 자료들이 초등학교의 또래 문화에 부합하지 않는 내용이 상당히 많이 수반되어 일선 학교에서 적용하는데 나름대로의 고충이 있었다. 이런 점을 고려하여 학습자 중심의 흥미와 놀이, 가상 실습 중심의 멀티미디어 프로그램을 설계하기로 하였다. 본 연구에서 지향할 멀티미디어 프로그램의 특징은 환경교육 영역 중 초등학교 저학년의 교육과정을 감안하여 그 수준에 맞도록 내용을 함축하여 구성주의 이론에 따른 상호작용을 강화하고 상호작용 기법을 활용하여 문제해결학습 형태로 프로그램이 전개된다는 점이다. 또한 학습자 스스로 자기 주도적 학습을 할 수 있게 될 것이고, 컴퓨터를 통하여 가상의 문제 상황을 제시하고 이를 해결하는 방식으로 설계 및 구현됨으로써 컴퓨터를 통한 문제 해결 학습의 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

Analysis and Operational Model Design of the "Village Citizen Archivist" Training Program ('마을기록활동가' 양성 교육 프로그램의 분석 및 운영 모형 설계)

  • This study aims to identify the current status of the village citizen archivist training program (hereinafter "training program") and propose a competency-based training program operational model to improve it. With the steadily increasing number of training programs, revitalizing programs and systemizing operations become imperative. This study focuses on achieving the program's goals, the competence of village citizen archivists, and the continuity of training programs and archiving activities. To this end, the meaning and role of village citizen archivists were investigated through domestic and international literature. Moreover, the current status of training programs from 2015 to 2023 was identified, and the implications of literature reviews and case studies were verified through interviews with the program educators. The implications of the interview were summarized as the program operational plan for each goal, the competence of village citizen archivists, and the development plan, thereby being reflected in the operational model. The competency-based education program operational model was proposed to incorporate a model structure, design principles, curricular modules for each goal, and considerations for each stage of education program operation.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop and apply an informal engineering education program for engineering education that is realized outside the framework of formal education. To this end, a non-format engineering education program was developed and rationalized, discussing participants' experience in participating in the program. The developed non-format engineering education program was applied to 90 high school learners interested in engineering in a one-night, two-day camp format, and the goal was confirmed through open surveys and in-depth interviews. The goal of the non-format engineering education program is to understand the importance of engineering and engineering design in real life and the principles of engineering design processes, and to use a variety of knowledge and tools to creatively solve engineering problems creatively. In addition, education programs were developed based on the fact that real-life examples allow engineers to understand what they do, design their own careers, and collaborate with colleagues to share various engineering issues and develop communication skills on engineering topics.

  • The ultimate goal of architecture is to construct a building through design and supervision. According to this circumstance, architectural education divided into two part ; design and construction. However, these two processes have to be one program for better education. In this aspect, steel housing program could be a desirable one because of its structural(bearing wall) system and relative short construction schedule. In KUT architectural program, steel housing has been one of the most effective and important for about ten years. In this research, the contents(s/w) and running process of this program and practice lab(h/w) will be introduced with detail. And this study could be a good guideline for a better combination program with theory and practice in architectural engineering field.

Study of Unplugged Education Program Based on Play Learning for the Lower Grades of Elementary School (초등저학년 학생을 대상으로 한 놀이학습 기반 언플러그드 교육프로그램 연구)

  • The purpose of this paper is to study the unplugged educational program for the lower grades of elementary school. For this, the study was conducted as follows. First, a play-learning-based unplugged education method was discovered, focusing on play activities according to the level of development of elementary school students. Secondly, unplugged educational programs to develop Computational Thinking were designed according to the discovered topics. each class is conducted by storytelling, and the content of the storytelling is related to the integrated curriculum 'Winter'. In addition, each class was analyzed based on the core elements of Computational Thinking ability. And, we developed educational materials that can be used in the designed unplugged educational program. Finally, the educational program was applied to the lower grades of elementary school, and the educational program was analyzed through case studies. As a result of the analysis, the educational program was organized according to the level of the students, and it was confirmed that this educational program is helpful in improving the Computational Thinking of lower grade students of elementary school.

  • Recently, various platforms and contents for artificial intelligence education have been developed, but artificial intelligence education programs for the lower grades of elementary school are insufficient. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop an artificial intelligence education program for learners in the lower grades of elementary school. It was designed using the Novel Engineering with various convergence education research cases for software education. After the first program was developed, it was verified by expert validity test, and the program was modified and developed accordingly. It was necessary to construct a program based on spoken language rather than written language in consideration of the level of learners in the lower grades in the process of acquiring Hangeul, and to secure the number of educational hours through integration between subjects. It is expected that this study can suggest a new direction for artificial intelligence education for elementary and lower grade learners.

  • 본 논문에서는 초등학생에게 공학적 설계를 기반으로 컴퓨터 프로그램을 처치한 초등 발명교육 프로그램을 설계 제안하고자 한다. 지오지브라 프로그램을 처음 접하는 5~6학년 학생들도 쉽게 결과물을 도출할 수 있고, 4D프레임으로 움직이는 조형물(키네틱 아트) 결과물을 도출할 수 있도록 총 12차시로 구성하였다. 추후에 공학적 설계를 강조한 컴퓨터프로그램 기반 발명수업을 통해 초등학생의 과학 태도와 창의성 함양에 어떤 영향을 주는지에 대한 후속연구를 진행하고자 한다.

  • This research aims to explore the direction to promote maker-centered education and draw implications on the design and practice of teacher's professional development program by studying a case. To achieve the research objective, the research context was set on a teacher's training program provided by the S district office of education in Seoul, and the quantitative and qualitative studies were conducted to deduce the teacher's requirements for establishing and promoting maker-centered education after participating in the program as well as analyzing the effectiveness of the 5-days training program. From the results, this study contributes to suggesting implications on activating maker-centered education and providing the curriculum and instructional designs of teacher's professional development through the case participated by teachers who play a crucial role in performing and practicing innovative teaching methods and educational policy in real educational contexts.

  • 오늘날 사회 전반에 걸쳐 컴퓨터가 활용되고 있으며, 이로 인하여 각 분야의 생산성이 향상되고 서비스가 더욱 편리하고 신속해졌다. 이러한 정보화 사회를 맞이하여 교육에 있어서도 컴퓨터를 이용한 수학교육이 많은 기대와 관심을 받고 있으나, 아직까지도 수학교육에 있어서 컴퓨터의 활용은 빈약한 수준이다. 이는 수학교육에 있어서 학생들의 컴퓨터와 상호작용을 통한 능동적인 수업참여를 지원해줄 다양하고 효과적인 수학교육 프로그램과 콘텐트들이 부족하기 때문이다. 다양하고 효과적인 수학교육 콘텐트를 작성하기 위해서는 각 교육내용에 적합한 형태의 콘텐트를 제작할 수 있도록 특화된 교육 프로그램들을 개발하는 것이 필요하며, 이를 지원하기 위한 전문기능의 개발 라이브러리가 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 대수계산 기능을 포함한 그래프 컴포넌트를 설계하고 구현한다 본 컴포넌트를 활용함으로써, 다양한 함수와 기하 도형을 화면에 표현하는 기능이 필요한 수학교육 프로그램과 교육 콘텐트를 손쉽게 제작할 수 있다.

  • Engineering methodology which is defined broadly as the various nontechnical knowledge such as design process and the personal skills such as creativity that an engineer must have to be a successful practitioner, is not sufficiently implemented in the present undergraduate engineering programs. A systematic design education model is proposed in this paper to teach the principles and art of engineering. First level design education is to introduce engineering process and cultivate student's creativity. Second one is to apply the knowledge of sciences, mathematics and engineering sciences to the solution of basic engineering problems. Third one is to solve a real-life problem.
