Curriculum Orientations of Home Economics Teacher Educators (가정과 교사교육자들의 가정과 교육과정 관점)

  • 본 연구는 가정과 교사교육자(전국 국 사립 대학의 가정교육과에 재직하고 있는 교수)들의 교육과정 관점을 조사함으로써 실천적 비판 중심 가정과 교육과정 개발을 위한 기초자료와 교사교육자들을 위한 세미나 프로그램 개발을 위한 유용한 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. (1) 가정과 교사교육자들은 하나의 두드러진 교육과정 관점을 선호하지는 않았지만 인지과정중심 교육과정에 가장 높은 선호도를 보였다. (2) 석사과정에서 가정학 세부영역을 전공한 교사교육자는 가정교육학을 전공한 교사교육자보다 학문중심 교육과정과 기술중심 교육과정을 가정과 교육을 위한 적절한 관점으로 인식하였다. (3) 박사과정에서 가정교육학을 전공한 교사교육자는 가정학 세부영역을 전공한 교사교육자보다 개인중심교육과정을 가정과 교육을 위한 적절한 관점으로 인식하였다. (4) 가정교육학 관련 교과목을 가르치는 교사교육자는 가정학 세부영역 관련 교과목을 가르치는 교사교육자보다 기술중심 교육과정을 가정과 교육을 위한 적절한 관점으로 인식하였다.

The Composition of Teacher Curriculum based on Maker Education Perception of Early Childhood Teachers (유아교사의 메이커 교육 인식에 기초한 교사 교육과정 구성 방향)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the teacher's perception of maker education and to suggest the direction of teacher education curriculum for maker education in order to explore the possibility of applying maker education to early childhood education. To this end, a survey was conducted on the perception of maker education for preschool teachers. As a result of the data analysis, the perception of the concept, meaning, and educational environment of maker education were low, while the effectiveness, importance, value, continuous application and development of maker education were highly recognized and the necessity of maker teacher education and the educational environment was suggested. Based on the survey results, the teacher curriculum composition was classified into basic and advanced courses. The basic course included basic contents to understand maker education and maker space. The advanced course included information on how to use various tools, materials and digital media, how to conduct and evaluate maker education to apply maker education. The teacher curriculum composition for maker education can suggest basic directions for developing teacher education programs and strengthening the digital teaching competency of teachers in the future.

대학 창업교육과정 만족도가 기업가적 기민성, 기회인식, 창업의지에 미치는 영향 : 교육과정특성의 조절효과를 중심으로

  • 2010년 이후 정부는 일자리문제 등을 해결하기 위해 창업활성화를 국정과제로 내세우고 있다. 새로운 기회와 가치창출을 통한 창업활성화를 위해 창업의지는 필수적인 요소지만 창업의지를 높이기 위한 방법론 적에 대하여는 많은 연구들의 견해가 엇갈리고 있다. 본 연구는 창업활성화의 첫걸음으로 창업의지를 꼽았으며 창업의지를 가지기위한 선행조건으로 기업가적 기민성·기회인식 역량을 갖추어야 하며 이러한 역량을 강화하기 위해 현재 중점 추진되고 있는 정부주도의 대학 창업교육과정의 역할에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 또한, 창업교육과정별(교과과정 VS 비교과과정) 비교를 통해 향후 나아가야 할 창업교육의 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 연구목적 달성을 위해 문헌연구와 이를 토대로 한 실증연구 결과는 대학 창업교육과정이 창업에 필수적인 창업의지를 키우기 위한 기업가적 기민성과 기회인식 역량을 증대 및 영향을 끼치는 것을 시사하며 교육 만족도에 따라 그 효과는 변화된다는 것을 보여 준다. 또한, 창업교과과정(학점) 보단 창업비교과과정이(비학점) 창업의지에 더욱 영향을 끼치는 것을 나타내는 결과를 보여주었다. 이러한 연구결과는 대학창업교육과정이 기업가적 기민성과 기회인식의 역량을 증대 시킬 수 있는 창업교육으로 커리큘럼을 수립해야 할 것이며 이론과정 보단 실습 위주의 교육으로 나아가야 한다는 방향성을 보여준다.

G Metropolitan City Elementary School Teachers' Perception of National-Level Curriculum (G광역시 초등학교 교사의 국가수준 교육과정에 대한 인식 연구)

  • The study is aimed at finding out the perception of national-level curriculum among elementary school teachers in G Metropolitan City. For the study, the survey results of 124 elementary school teachers in G-city were used. According to the study, the average score of elementary school teachers recognizing national-level curriculum was 3.48 points and the self-assessment of national-level curriculum perception was 3.75, indicating that the self-assessment score was higher than that of national-level curriculum perception. Also, as a result of comparing the perception differences according to the characteristics of elementary school teachers, teachers working in schools under 20 classes had higher national-level curriculum recognition than teachers working in schools over 31 classes. The group with research school experience was higher than the group without research school experience, and the group with both research and innovation school experience was significantly higher than the group without research or innovation school experience. As a result of conducting multiple regression analysis to find out the variables influencing the national-level curriculum, school size variables showed an explanatory power of 13.1%. These results suggest that awareness of the national-level curriculum can be improved when more opportunities for teachers to access curriculum development are provided.

The Secondary School Science Teachers' Understanding and Suggestion on Implementation of the New Science Curriculum (새로운 교육과정 시행에 대한 중학교 과학 교사들의 인식 및 제안)

  • This study was conducted to find out how many secondary school science teachers are aware and ready to implement new science curriculum as well as its revision process. For the purpose of this study, teachers had been asked to fill in a questionnaire. The results showed that teachers' overall understanding and readiness was low and that the implementation of new curriculum was a burden to a large number of teachers. Some teachers even expressed a negative opinion. Furthermore, it turned out that teachers didn't have an important role in revising the curriculum as a only small number of teachers participated. So, the second questionnaire and interviews were provided in order to ask for various opinions as to how new science curriculum should be communicated to schools and when school teachers should participate in the revision of curriculum, along with their role and participation methods.

  • With the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, there is an increasing demand for interdisciplinary studies in the realm of university education. Accordingly, this study sought to explore learners' perceived expectation factors for a modular curriculum, one of the primary strategies for curriculum revision in interdisciplinary departments, by applying the Expectation Theory. Learners' perceptions were measured pre and post during the second semester of 2022. The results confirmed that among the expectation factors, the selection factor significantly decreased after the course compared to before. Changes in the understanding and perceived difficulty level of tool utilization within the course may have influenced these results. The significance of this study lies in providing direction for curriculum revisions in interdisciplinary departments by analyzing learners' perceptions of the modular curriculum. Specifically, curriculum design should focus on reducing difficulties and cognitive burdens associated with educational tool utilization. Furthermore, considering that students' prior experience and understanding of educational tools can impact educational outcomes, it is crucial to factor these elements when designing a modular curriculum.

  • According to the presentation of the new national curriculum, this study aims to analyze teacher's perceptions of the information education for lower grade students in elementary school. Before conducting survey, analyzing overseas and domestic researches were preceded. The questionnaires were collected by an online survey of 166 incumbent elementary school teachers after verification by an expert group. As a result, contrary to the basis of the information education curriculum to be strengthened, teacher's stagnant negative perceptions could be confirmed through various measurement variables. Before the introduction of a new national curriculum in 2024, it is a time when efforts to improve teacher's perceptions of information education for lower graders are particularly necessary.

Middle School Science Teachers' Perceptions of Implementation and Challenges on Process-Based Assessment Emphasized in the 2015 Revised Curriculum (2015 개정 교육과정에 따른 중학교 과학교사들의 과정중심평가 실행 및 어려움에 대한 인식 탐색)

  • As a part of the second-year monitoring study on the implementation of the 2015 revised science curriculum in middle schools, this study focuses more on examining middle school science teachers' perceptions on the process-based assessment (PBA). A total of 105 middle school science teachers (44 teachers from science leading schools, 61 teachers from ordinary schools) responded to the survey questionnaire, and 16 teachers participated in interviews. The results include teachers' perceptions on the changes in their teaching and assessment methods, some challenges of implementing PBA, and educational implications of PBA. Survey results indicate that the teachers perceived themselves using more PBA methods after the 2015 revised science curriculum was launched. The teachers in science-leading schools present statistically higher average scores to the items on the PBA utilization than the ones in ordinary schools. However, the teachers felt confused in conceptually differentiating PBA from prior performance-based assessment. They also experienced some conflicts when implementing PBA under the achievement-oriented school atmospheres. In addition, they often faced difficulties in securing objectivity and reliability of PBA and felt the burden of evaluating individual students. This study suggests the necessity of giving more authority and trust to science teachers regarding PBA, constructing more supportive environment to cultivate teacher competency as evaluation experts, and the need to reduce task burden. However, some teachers who actively implemented PBA express some level of satisfaction as observing students' positive reaction to PBA.
