과학영재학교 우수교원 확보를 위한 영재교육 관련 법 개선 방안

  • It is very essential to recruit professional teachers for Gifted Education because the main goals of this school are focusing on the highly advanced technical science fields, enhancing self study and research environment which leads to develop self-directed learning and creative learning. The purpose of this study is to improve of the current Gifted Education Action Law For Teacher Recruitment in Gifted Education. The results of this study are follows; 1. Establishment of Standards for Teachers' Qualification in Gifted Education To recruit professional teachers, they are studied to use the current Gifted Education Action Law and to converse the legal position of Busan Science Academy 2. Developing Professionalism and Improving Conditions of Employment To gualify for Gifted Education, it is necessary to developing professionalism and improving conditions of employment. To provide long-term training and a sabbatical year for research. To make able teachers teach in a school longer than other teachers if teachers agree to it. To pay research funds for teachers for gifted education. To give advantage for gifted teachers in promotion. As the result of study, it has been systemized the standards of recruiting qualified teachers of the Science School for Gifted, has been proposed the ways of developing specialty of teachers and working conditions.

  • 교원의 핵심 역량 중 지식 역량이나 수행 역량 등은 교직과정 이수 결과의 확인이나 지필 시험 또는 실기 시연 등을 통해 확인 또는 평가할 수 있다. 그러나 태도 역량이나 전문성 개발역량의 일부 요소들은 별도의 도구나 평가로 심사해야 된다. 전문성 개발 역량 가운데 자기반성 노력, 지속적 학습 노력, 교육 공동체 간 의사소통 및 협력 등의 요소들은 기존의 평가 방식으로 파악하기 어렵다. 따라서 교원의 핵심 역량을 평가하기 위해서는 교직 적성 및 인성 검사와 같은 별도의 도구가 필요하다. 본 논문은 교원자격을 강화하기 위한 교직 적성 및 인성 검사를 효율적으로 실시하기 위한 온라인 웹 검정 시스템을 설계하고자 한다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 예비 교사의 소프트웨어 교육 수업 전문성 함양을 위하여 백워드 설계 기반으로 교육프로그램을 개발하는 데 있다. 백워드 설계는 학생들의 심층적인 이해를 고려한 수업 설계 기법이다. 백워드 설계 대한 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 차시 당 4시간 수업으로 총 8차시(32시간 분량)의 소프트웨어 교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 이는 예비교사의 소프트웨어 교육에 대한 심층적인 이해를 돕고, 직접 백워드 설계를 기반으로 하는 수업 계획을 실습함으로써 교육과정에 대한 깊은 이해도 도울 수 있다는 점에 의의를 갖는다. 하지만 본 연구에서 개발된 교육 프로그램이 어떤 효과성을 지니는지에 대한 검증이 이루어지지 않았다는 제한점이 있다. 따라서 추후 연구에서는 효과성을 확인하기 위한 실험 및 통계적 검증이 요구된다.

A Case of Developing Teacher Training System at the Office of Education and Its Implications (교육청 교원연수체제 개발 사례와 시사점)

  • This study aims to describe how to develop a teacher training system and provide basic datum and implications for offices of education. In order to achieve this, the teacher training system for "A" Office of Education was organized into 3 major categories; method, grounds and results. The teacher training system was developed according to the characteristics and needs of "A" which included status analysis, need analysis, foreign and a domestic training case analysis of school districts and companies, a literature review, as well as consultation with a group of experts. The model of the teacher training system for "A" Office of Education consisted of a vision, goals, a strategy and a four programs (4S Project) that was created based on this model. This study proposed to build visions of teacher training based on the vision and goals of the Office of Education, to create programs based on vision of teacher training and to develop a strategy that can be implemented.

  • With the introduction of new teacher evaluation system, teacher librarians' evaluation indicators and questions were presented for the first time. The purpose of this study is to review the validity of current indicators and questions and to develop new one, based on it. The result is as follows : Current indicators mainly focus on the management of school library facility and collection, not on teacher librarians' educational activities and have the low validity to evaluate the expertise of teacher librarians. As a result, this study will suggest new evaluation indicators and questions to evaluate their expertise appropriately.

Design Guidelines for Teachers' Professional Development Program that Help Improve Self-Regulated Learning Skills through OER (공개교육자원(OER)을 활용한 자기조절학습능력 향상을 위한 웹기반 교원연수 프로그램 설계 전략)

  • This study aims towards developing design guidelines for teachers' professional development programs (PDP) that help to improve self-regulated learning skills through OER (Open Educational Resources). To achieve the research objective, first, literature review and case studies about famous OER collections were conducted, and from these reviews, twenty-six guidelines according to ten categories suggested by Zimmerman & Martinez-Pons were derived and finalized into fifteen items in nine categories through review of five experts. Based on the guidelines, a prototype of a teacher's PDP was implemented and evaluated by seven teachers. Results of the usability evaluation proved that the design strategies implemented in the prototype might contribute to improving teacher's self-regulated learning skills and helped to find the teacher's needs based on their PDP.

  • 4차 산업혁명이 도래하여 사회 전반에서 혁신적인 변화가 일어났다. 이에 따라 2022 개정 교육과정에서는 미래 사회가 요구하는 소양 및 역량 강화를 위하여 인공지능(Artificial Intelligence, AI)·소프트웨어(Software, SW)교육을 비롯한 디지털 기초 소양을 강화하는 것을 개정의 중점으로 설정하였다. 이처럼 SW교육은 정보 관련 교과를 비롯한 타 교과에서도 중요하며 따라서 비 정보과 교사도 SW관련 교육 내용을 이해해야 할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 비 정보과 교사에게 SW연수를 실시하였고, SW교육 수업 전문성의 변화를 살펴보았다. 그 결과 사전 검사에 비해 사후 검사 결과에서 통계적으로 유의한 상승을 확인하였다. 이는 SW연수가 비 정보과 교사의 SW교육 수업 전문성 함양에 긍정적인 영향을 준다는 것을 의미한다. 그러나 본 연구는 단일집단으로 이루어진 실험을 설계하여 실시하였으므로, 이러한 변화가 처치로 인한 것인지 확인할 수 없다는 한계점이 있다. 그러므로 통제 집단 및 실험 집단 선별 과정을 거친 후속 연구 설계가 요구된다.

Exploring the OECD ITP(Initial Teacher Preparation) Program and Its Implications for Future Teacher Education and Induction Policy (OECD 교원양성 국제비교 연구(ITP)가 한국의 중등교원양성제도 개혁에 주는 시사점)

  • The OECD ITP project has looked at the black box of each participating countries' teacher education system. In the 2000s, various countries have tried to reform their professional development systems for teachers, including teacher education and induction, as an initial yet crucial step to improve the quality of education. Since 2015, OECD member countries have been conducting an international comparison study on teacher education and induction programs(i.e. ITP). The ITP project is an in-depth comparative study among the member countries that have expressed willingness to participate voluntarily. This paper introduces the progress of the ITP project and analyzed the national background report on the teacher education and induction system of the participating countries and compared the features of the systems. In addition, this study explores the common issues surrounding the teacher education and induction system. Moreover, the researcher has tried to derive some suggestions for improvement of teacher education and induction system in Korea.

Teachers' Perception of Advanced Placement Program (공동AP(대학과정선이수제)제도에 대한 교원인식)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate teachers' perception of Advanced Placement Program. Participations of this study were 111 teachers from science high schools and gifted science high schools. The results showed as follows. First, teachers perceived positively regarding AP program and were willing to teach AP program. However, teachers perceived that schools were not ready to start AP program. Also, They perceived that teaching materials development, more teachers to teach AP programs, and teacher training programs were needed to set up AP Programs in science high schools. For the professional development, 60-hours teacher training program and incentive system for the AP teachers were needed. Implications of the study were discussed in depth based on the results.
