Although this research puts the emphasis on the importance of the personality education, and lacks the understanding of the early childhood educator about the personality education, and essentially the content analysis of the direction of the operation of the personality education hasn't been performed. Therefore through the research study once again we collected the opinion of the early childhood educator about the personality education. As the object of the investigation, we questioned 208 teachers who work in the Daycare Center in the S city, and applied the SPSS 18.0 program. The result is as the following. First, there was a lot of concern in the understanding of the early childhood educator about the personality education, and that it was in need. The reason for emphasizing the personality education appears to be the "Individual Egoism", and the "Parental Value" as the factor of influence, and "Whole People Human Development and Health Promotion" as a factor of helping, and "Courage" as the inner information of the information of the personality education, and "Manner" as the outer information. Secondly, more than the majority was carrying out the personality education in the real state of the early childhood educator on the personality education and it happens to be that the instructional material is the "Material related to the personality education", "Conversation" as the teaching learning method, "Once per week" as number of times, "Within 30 minutes" as lead time, "Teacher in Charge" as the host, and "Uncooperative parents" as the difficulty. Lastly the accurate time of demanding the early childhood educator about the personality education happens to be from "Infancy", and the teaching method is "Teaching by making a connection with the family", and that "Leading by example of the teacher" is the factor of consideration.
In this study, we introduced the case of college calculus course for vocational high school graduates with coding. We suggest this case as an alternative to overcome mathematics anxiety. Contents, python/SageMath codes, and textbook for this course, which help students to easily and quickly review middle and high school mathematics, were newly developed by authors. Due to the use of codes and chat with classmates in learning management system, most of the students who took this course reported that they no longer felt anxious in complex mathematics problems, had a full understanding of calculus concepts, could solve almost problems in any calculus textbooks with or without codes, and could explain calculus concepts to other students in their own words. In this way if mathematics and coding is properly used in mathematics education, it helps students with weak mathematical backgrounds or mathematics anxiety to restore confidence in mathematics in college. This could be applicable in secondary mathematics education.
The purpose of this study is to research the actual condition of on-line and off-line computer education in order to create more opportunities for the possibility of effective learning and u-Learning - based IT vocational education development of persons with hearing impairments. To carry out this study, we had a preliminary education of this study for a sign language interpreters who had working in a association of the deaf in Daegu, and had conducted a survey study participating for 100 persons with hearing impairments living in Daegu-Kyungbook Region. The results of this study were as follows: First, during on-line and offline education environment for persons with hearing impairments, factors such as teaching methods and contents, screen organization, learning effects, offering lecture material and subtitle, subtitle and sign language video of position and size, offering computer instructor who have a sign language interpreter with IT mentoring, on-line educational user environment setting must be considered factors for u-Learning - based IT vocational education development. Second, 74% of the subjects showed their interest in taking a course, after u-Learning contents are developed for persons with hearing impairments. Third, the subjects preferred IT device was a tablet PCs and IT certification related courses as their IT vocational education curriculum. Also, to link between professional training and job opportunity, subjects will need a IT vocational education courses such as computer intermediate and advanced levels.

The purpose of this study was to develop and apply the participation-centered lecture model and practice principle developed by the Change Laboratory Method to improve the lecture interaction of nursing education and verify the effect. The experimental group was 91, and control group was 83 students who studied in the 3rd and 4th grade at one College of Nursing, This study developed the detail participatory lecture method on January and February and applied it to the students in March, and April, 2017, In the pre-survey, general characteristics, class attitude, and learning strategies were examined and homogeneity test was conducted. Post-survey was conducted with participation, satisfaction, and performance, The results showed that the experimental group and the control group were homogeneous. The average participation levels of the experimental and control groups were 3.98 and 3.77 respectively(t=2.38, p<.05). However, there was no statistically significant difference in the satisfaction and achievement. Therefore, it was expected to improve the participation and performance of students through the application of the participation-centered lecture. In the future, it will be necessary to prepare and implement effective methods for improvement of teaching methods in each subject.
The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze phonetic items such as the phonemic system, phonological rules, and pronunciation descriptions and notations incorporated in the textbooks. Based on our analysis results, we point out the problems related to pronunciation education, and suggest directions for improvement. First, the presentation order of consonants and vowels in the phonological systems sections of each textbook was different. We recommend that a standard for consonant and vowel presentation order should be prepared, but that this standard should take into consideration the specific purpose of the textbook; the learning strategies and goals, as well as the possibility of teaching and learning. Second, similar to phonemic systems, the presentation order of phonological rules was different for each textbook. To create a standard order for phonological rules, we have to standardize the order of presentation of rules and determine which rules should be presented. Furthermore, when describing phonological rules, the content should be described in common and essential terms as much as possible without the use of jargon. Third, in other matters of pronunciation, there were problems such as examples for pronunciation and lack of exercises. Regarding this, we propose to provide sentences or dialogues as examples for pronunciation, and to link these to various activities and other language functions for pronunciation practice.
This single-blinded, nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest study was undertaken to evaluate the effectiveness of simulation education on clinical judgement, collaboration, communication skills, and perceived education practices and simulation design characteristics among student nurses in Korea. Participants were 47 students (19 in the experimental group and 28 in the control group) recruited by convenience sampling. The simulation based clinical reasoning education consisted of seven weekly, 120-minute high fidelity simulations. All participants completed the pretest and 7-week post measurements of a clinical judgment, collaboration, and communication skills with 4-week post measurement of collaboration, and participants in the experimental group provided a measurements of perceived education practices and simulation design characteristics. Data were analyzed using repeated measured ANOVA, and mixed linear model with SAS 9.2. Significant improvements were found in the experimental group for clinical judgment, collaboration, communication skill, and perceived education practices and simulation design characteristics. The study results show the impact of the perceived education practices and simulation design characteristics on facilitating the effectiveness of simulation education. The findings suggest a feasible and sound teaching method for student nurses and the need for further studies with a larger sample.
This study analyzed a textbook published for Korean culture education in a trend of communicative teaching methods, and suggested the ways for the integrated diversity of culture education with expression activities. This study set up the final goal of strengthening 'cultural competence' which is the next stage of 'cultural awareness' and 'cultural literacy' in the goal hierarchy for culture education, and analyzed not only the theme distribution but the patterns of expression activities in the textbook. It assumed that one of the most effective ways to achieve the goal is the convergence with expression activities in order to strengthen 'cultural competence' which aims to the creative culture production as well as the simple comparison between learners' mother culture and the target culture. This textbook is characterized by abundant visual materials, focus on the behavior culture and the information culture rather than the achieved culture. and media reading materials in diverse levels for utilization possibly in any proficiency levels. Also, it found out by analyzing the patterns of expression activities that the question forms inducing learners' speech and writing are restricted to a few patterns. Lastly, this study proposed the ways to achieve the goal "cultural competence" as follows: diversity of question forms, extension of expression activities and creative application in integrating the related activities.
This study conducted a big data analysis on news to identify the agenda of media literacy, which has been socially discussed, and on which relevant policy directions will be proposed. To this end 1,336 articles from January 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020 were collected and a topic modeling analysis was conducted according to four periods. Five topics for each period were derived through the analysis, and implications based on the results are as follows. First, the government should implement a nation-level systematic approach to media literacy education according to life cycle stages to generate economic and cultural value. Second, local communities and schools should provide systematic support and education guidance activities to ensure a sustainable ecosystem for media literacy and prevent an educational gap and loss in learning. Third, efforts should be made in various aspects to minimize the side effects resulting from constantly providing media literacy education; furthermore a culture of desirable media application should be established. Finally, a research environment for scientific research on media literacy, active exchange of experience and value obtained in the field, and long-term accumulation of research results should be encouraged to develop a robust knowledge exchange culture.
To understand the research trends of English education in Korea for the last 20 years from 2000 to 2019, 12 major academic journals in Korea in the field of English education were selected, and bibliographic information of 7,329 articles published in these journals were collected and analyzed. The total number of articles increased from the 2000s to the first half of the 2010s, but decreased somewhat in the late 2010s and the number of publications by journal has become similar. These results show that the overall influence of English education journals has decreased and then leveled in terms of quantity. Next, 34 topics were extracted by applying latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA) topic modeling using the English abstract of the articles. Teacher, word, culture/media, and grammar appeared as topics that were highly studied. Topics such as word, vocabulary, and testing and evaluation appeared through unique keywords, and various topics related to learner factors emerged, becoming topics of interest in English education research. Then, topics were analyzed to determine which ones were rising or falling in frequency. As a result of this analysis, qualitative research, vocabulary, learner factor, and testing were found to be rising topics, while falling topics included CALL, language, teaching, and grammar. This change in research topics shows that research interests in the field of English education are shifting from static research topics to data-driven and dynamic research topics.

Recently, due to COVID-19, non-face-to-face online lectures are being held all over the world. In higher education in the post-corona era, distance learning has become the main teaching and learning method. At this time, Metaverse is being proposed as a new alternative. Metaverse has basic elements such as avatars, 3D space, and activities accompanied by interaction, which can be seen as a difference compared to existing VR (Virtual Reality) contents. This study designed and built an educational metaverse platform that can be applied to actual lectures by reflecting the three elements of the metaverse.In addition, we implemented a cross-device-platform that supports various devices such as HMDs, smartphones, tablets, and PCs by reflecting user requirements through usability tests such as middle school, high school, college students, and parents, so that anyone can easily participate in Metaverse lectures. Currently, the metaverse platform is being developed and serviced in various ways, but there are hardly any services designed for education. Just as services such as Zoom, the existing video conferencing solution, were used for non-face-to-face education, some functions of the currently serviced metaverse are utilized for education and used in the form of a one-time event. The educational metaverse platform developed through this study is expected to be a reference in constructing the metaverse for education in the future.
