  • 광고는 매체와 기술 의존적인 본질에 의해 새로운 매체와 플랫폼, 기술이 생겨나고 발전할 때마다 새로운 정의에 의해 개념지어졌다. 이 글에서는 전통적인 개념의 광고와 인터넷 시대의 광고의 정의에 대해 알아보고, 인터넷의 진화된 버전이라 여겨지는 메타버스 내에서의 광고에 대해 논의했다. 인터렉티브 광고모델(IAM)에 따라 메타버스 이용자의 동기를 파악했고, 메타버스 내 여러 광고가 어떤 방식으로 그 동기를 충족시킬 수 있는지 논의했다. 마지막으로 메타버스를 활용한 광고의 다양한 형식을 실제 사례를 통해 파악했다.

  • For the success of the DMB market to meet consumers' demands for Ubiquitous Media and strengthen the nation's competitiveness, it's inevitable for us to activate DMB advertising as of main profit source for DMB Media, and to develop various types of DMB advertising which are linked to the profit model. So I'd like to look over the various types of DMB advertising which are suitable for DMB features as one of the efforts to activate DMB advertising. First of all, I've figured out what kinds of advertising are available for new media and which related technologies are required for DMB media. Through this research, I could find out what features of new media such as cable broadcasting, Internet and Mobile have become the source of developing various types of advertising and how to a great part to activate new media advertising markets by making the best use of their media features. This research also shows that DMB advertising has the high potential to be developed in various and effective types and kinds of advertising with its media feature and technological feature. This research observing DMB advertising cases showed that DMB advertising can be divided into 6 types such as forms, purposes, techniques, advertising positions, the use of LBS(Location Based Service), coupons and it could be developed into various kinds of DMB advertising dependent on each type. On the other hands, it would be great to have continual researches and follow-ups for various types of DMB advertising and the verification of the effectiveness for DMB advertising by performing potential DMB advertising.

The Effect and Its Potential Determinants of Cross-Media Advertising between Online and Offline Media (온-오프라인 교차광고의 효과와 영향요인에 관한 연구)

  • As the media environment surrounding us has changed rapidly, the influences of traditional media decrease whereas promotions using new media have been developing remarkably, Under this circumstance, cross-media advertising, which strategically integrates advertisements on multiple media, is getting attention as an effective marketing communication approach. This study investigated consumer responses to cross-media advertising using both online and offline media, focusing on the effects of product involvement, attributes of media connection, and gender. The experiment was conducted towards adult consumers aged 20 to 39. Results confirmed that the interaction effect between product involvement and attributes of media connection on brand attitude and behavioral intention was significant by a moderating role of gender. Based on the results from this study, both theoretical and practical implications were discussed, as were directions for future research.

  • 모바일 단말, 웨어러블 디바이스 등 개인용 단말의 이용이 확대되면서 사용자 및 사용자 그룹의 다양한 미디어 소비정보, 이용 패턴 정보 기반으로 하는 다양한 서비스가 확대되고 있다. 이러한 개인 혹은 사용자 그룹을 대상으로 하는 대표적이면서 가장 서비스 효율을 높일수 있는 서비스 가운데 하나가 타겟팅 광고 서비스이다. 이러한 타겟팅 광고 서비스는 단순한 개인의 선호도 정보만을 반영하는 것에서 개인의 미디어 소비이력, 미디어 이용패턴 정보 등 사용자가 직접적으로 정보를 입력없이 추천이 가능하도록 연구가 계속되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 고정형 및 모바일 단말에서 사용자의 미디어 콘텐츠 선호 정보 및 소비이력 정보를 통합적으로 반영하여 타겟팅 광고 콘텐츠를 자동적으로 선정하고 추천하는 엔진을 설계 구현하였다. 제안한 추천엔진은 콘텐츠 특성에 대한 선호도와 사용자의 콘텐츠 소비 패턴에서 취득된 정보를 기반으로 예측된 선호도를 결합하여 사용자의 최종 선호도를 추정하고, 이를 기반으로 광고 콘텐츠에 대한 추천을 수행한다. 사용자 메타데이터 및 콘텐츠 메타데이터는 TV-Anytime 표준을 기반으로 하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the possibility of combining DOOH advertising, which has fully met the functional requirements of a standalone digital medium, with transmedia storytelling as a expansion of a new advertising area. This researcher examined the concept of transmedia storytelling used in various fields and its application cases in dramas, movies, and webtoons, and analyzed examples of transmedia storytelling approaches in the field of advertising. As a result of the analysis, it was analyzed that although OOH advertising has brought many changes in the way of content implementation with the advent of digital signage, DOOH advertising needs to be approached in a more diverse way in a situation where the boundaries that were considered to be the unique domain of each content are blurring. In particular, it has been analyzed that it can not only fulfill its role as an independent medium but also expand the scope of DOOH advertising by combining it with transmedia storytelling enthusiasts. These results suggest the need to incorporate DOOH advertising with transmedia storytelling strategies.

  • As contents go digital and networks go broadband, there are a lot of changes made to Ad market caused by multimedia and multichannel environment. While platforms as the contents distribution window are increasing, the reality is that additional Ad revenue through platforms is concentrated on mammoth exclusive media because there are small number of the media that has control over platforms is able to create production and provide capital. In addition, as Media rep laws is passed at the Assembly plenary session, tipping effect in Ad market concentrated to some media. In this reality, pay TV market is expected to be within its direct orbit as it is predicted to produce new contents and distribution growth thanks to a wide variety of genres and experimental challenge. Thus, this study is to propose the methodology and an alternative for pay Ad market expansion. As the result of this research, an improvement scheme of indirect advertisement, virtual advertisement, and prohibited advertising item is suggested, and methodology for advertising market expansion is suggested through enterprise and government.

  • With the emergence of SNS, TV, newspapers and radio, which are one-way communication media, have become less important. Therefore social networking enables social networking beyond the constraints of time and space, and communication and emotional communication required for social relations have emerged as a factor in the importance of social media. Social media, which is based on rapid connectivity and scalability, is an medium of expression that is advantageous for companies and consumers to communicate more easily than traditional advertising media. Advertising can form a consensus that consumers and companies can create an atmosphere of friendly conversation because of the social media that has the efficiency of communication. This study compares two ads. One is the advertisement of 'Bear and Hare', an animation of John Lewis department store in the UK, where a new form of advertising marketing strategy is fused with emotional storytelling and social media. The second is an advertisement of LG, 'I love you LG' to be. Social media should be remembered as a warm and loving company in the heart of customers through open communication with customers, rather than companies that pursue merit profits by using social media ads as a medium of emotional transmission to consumers. It is a study on useful advertising strategy that can pursue the sales of the company at the same time.

An Exploratory Study on the Advertising Skepticism and Avoiding of Youtube Users based on Media Platform (미디어 플랫폼 유튜브 이용자의 광고 회의주의와 광고 회피 현상에 대한 고찰)

  • As the media environment changes rapidly, the size of the online advertising market is growing rapidly. However, consumer's trustfulness in online advertising is much lower than that of old media, and there is also a phenomenon of advertising avoidance. Thus, in this study, advertising skepticism, advertising appeals, involvement, and FCB Grid theory were used to provide Youtube and advertisers with implications for advertising strategies. It was intended to provide a way to lower consumer advertising avoidance. As a result of Research 1, consumers with high advertising avoidance showed low advertising attitudes, brand attitudes, and attitudes toward products. In addition, there was no difference in gender, and when the frequency of online video viewing decreased and the age increased, advertising avoidance increased. Research 2 shows that consumers with high levels of advertising skepticism showed a high level of advertising attitude when the level of involvement was low and transformational appeal was high. In the FCB Grid model, consumers with high levels of advertising skepticism are found to be suitable for transformational appeal advertising. These results mean that Youtube and advertisers should think important about advertising skepticism, which is the cause of advertising avoidance, and that consumers with high levels of advertising skepticism should be presented with advertisements suitable for each type of product in the online advertising market.

Effect of Social Media Engagement of Sports Advertisement on Product Trust and Purchase Intention

  • The purpose of this study is to present supporting data that can suggest a direction for sports advertisement strategy on social media by investigating how differences in social media engagement of sports advertisement affect users' product trust and purchase intention. To achieve this purpose, a total of 810 questionnaires, which were completed by sports-related college students engaged in social media activities using a method for writing a self-evaluation report, were collected, and 765 questionnaires were used as final valid samples after excluding 45 insincerely completed copies. For data processing, analyses of frequency, factor, reliability, correlation, and multiple regression were conducted using the Window SPSS (ver. 23.0) statistical program to draw the following conclusions. First, the social media engagement of the sports advertisement had a significant effect on the trust of the advertised products. Second, the social media engagement of the sports advertisement had a significant effect on the purchase intention of the advertised products. Third, the product trust acquired through the sports advertisement had a significant effect on the purchase intention.

  • As the broadcast, tele communication and media technology develop, the media are divided into various specialities from the internet to the mobile device. An advertising creative in the field, an innovative changes are taking place that had not been in the era of the passed traditional media TV, newspaper, magazine and etc. It's not but the various media's dividing, also the consumers who use the media are evolving in their media behavior from a passive attitude to a positive one. In other words, They consumers receive the advertising messages with positive attitude to researching the message in the searching tool by themselves and participate, act, and diffuse their acknowledgements. In this thesis, as the advertising creative circumstance like this, these varied advertising creative are tried to explained by the three dimension module that is suggested in this thesis.
