The system virtualization shows interest in the consolidation of servers for the efficient utilization of system resources. There are many various researches to utilize a server machine more efficiently through the system virtualization technique, and improve performance of the virtualization software. These researches have studied with the activity to control the resource allocation of virtual machines dynamically focused on CPU, or to manage resources in the cross-machine using the migration. However, the researches of the memory management have been wholly lacking. In this respect, the use of memory is limited to allocate the memory statically to virtual machine in server consolidation. Unfortunately, the static allocation of the memory causes a great quantity of the idle memory and decreases the memory utilization. The underutilization of the memory makes other side effects such as the load of other system resources or the performance degradation of services in virtual machines. In this paper, we suggest the dynamic allocation of the memory in Xen to control the memory allocation of virtual machines for the utilization without the performance degradation. Using AR model for the prediction of the memory usage and ACO (Ant Colony Optimization) algorithm for optimizing the memory utilization, the system operates more virtual machines without the performance degradation of servers. Accordingly, we have obtained 1.4 times better utilization than the static allocation.
Thermal conditions in practice at the traditional bronze workshop of the Korean Folk Village in Yongin were examined along with the microstructures of some high tin bronze objects made there. Laboratory experiments approximating the conditions of the workshop were also carried out and the results were compared. The operating temperature of the workshop furnace was measured to range from $750^{\circ}C$ to $850^{\circ}C$ while the surface temperature of an object, upon its removal from the furnace for additional thermo-mechanical treatments, was generally in the range of $600^{\circ}C$ to $685^{\circ}C$. This variation in working temperatures was reflected in varying microstructures developed upon quenching. The products of the Folk Village were found to consist of microstructures where the ${\alpha}$ grains of the Cu-Sn system were distributed in the background of different phases including the ${\beta}$-martensite phase, retained ${\gamma}$ phase, ${\alpha}+{\delta}$ eutectoid or their mixtures. This variability, which is also identified in objects made in ancient times as well as in our laboratory experiments, suggests that the actual thermal conditions given during the quenching treatments are much more complicated than is inferred from the temperature measurements. This paper will present detailed accounts of the thermo-mechanical treatments as observed in the high tin bronze workshop of the Korean Folk Village and discuss the evolution of varying microstructures in terms of the substantial variability involved in the implementation of the traditional forged high tin bronze technology of Korea.

Since the late 1990s, 'smart clothing' has been developed in a various way to meet the need of users and to help people more friendly interact with computers through its various designs. Recently, various applications of smart clothing concept have been presented by researchers. Among the various applications, smart clothing with a health care system is most likely to gain the highest demand rate in the market. Among them, smart clothing for check-up of health status with its sensors is expected to sell better than other types of smart clothing on the market. Under this circumstance, research and development for this field have been accelerated furthermore. This research institution has invented biometric sensors suitable for the smart clothing, and has developed a design to diagnose various diseases such as cardiac disorder and respiratory diseases. The newly developed smart clothing in this study looks similar to the previous inventions, but people can feel more comfortable in it with its fabric interaction built in it. When people wear it, the health status of the wearers is diagnosed and its signals are transmitted to the connected computer so the result can be easily monitored in real time. This smart clothing is a new kind of clothing as a supporting system for preventing various cardiac disorder and respiratory diseases using its biometric sensor built-in, and is also an archetype to show how smart clothing can work on the market.

Viscous fermented red ginseng extracts were dried and coated using a fluidized bed coater to increase convenience and consumer acceptance. The methods for making spherical granules of fermented red ginseng extracts with increasing convenience were established by using indigestible dextrin. Spherical granules of fermented red ginseng extracts with increasing convenience were made by mixing indigestible dextrin at 40% (40% IDD), 50% (50% IDD), and 60% (60% IDD) versus the soluble solid content of fermented red ginseng extracts. Spherical granules of fermented red ginseng extracts showed less angle of repose than powder of fermented red ginseng extracts. This means that spherical granules of fermented red ginseng extracts had good fluency with increased convenience. The more indigestible dextrin showed higher yields. Although 50% IDD showed less yield than 60% IDD, 50% IDD was the best mixing ratio for making spherical granules of fermented red ginseng extracts, as fermented red ginseng extracts is known as a healthy food. The optimized operation conditions of the fluidized bed coater for making 50% IDD were feeding rate 0.54 mL/min, atomization air pressure 2.15 bar, and product temperature $83.03^{\circ}C$.
The Total Pollutant Load Management System(TPLMS) in the Han River basin is being changed from a voluntary to a mandatory system. Accordingly, this study suggests directions and priorities for research that can support implementation of TPLMS through an objective approach that deploys gap analysis and analytic hierarchy processes (AHP). Gap analysis indicated that TPLMS in Korea is still focused on compliance with regulations, and that implementation of TPLMS is still in its early stage. Improvements are thus needed in flexibility and effectiveness, including introduction of emissions rights trading, and upgrading to a renewable emissions permit system. The AHP study indicated that R&D will need to proceed in parallel in multiple areas to improve systems and resolve scientific uncertainties. Balanced R&D will be needed in both the institutional and technical groups. Subgroup analysis indicated that developing a reasonable process to establish water quality management targets is of the highest priority in the institutional group. In the technical group, higher priority will need to be given to improving model reliability and developing innovative pollution load reduction technologies.

With the use of computed tomography (CT), computer-aided design/computer-assisted machining (CAD/CAM) technology and internet, the implant dentistry has been evolved. The surgical templates made by CAD/CAM technology and precise installation of implants, permit restorations to be inserted immediately after implants have been placed. The advantages of CAD/CAM guided implant procedures are flapless, minimally invasive surgery and shorter surgery time. With this technique, less postoperative morbidity and delivery of prosthesis for immediate function would be possible. A patient with an edentulous maxilla and mandible received 7 implants in mandible using CAD/CAM surgical templates. Prefabricated provisional fixed prostheses were connected immediately after implant installation. Provisional prostheses were evaluated for aesthetics and function during 6 months. Definitive prostheses were fabricated. At 6 months recall appointment, patient's occlusion was slightly changed. To prevent additional adverse effect, regular check-up and occlusal adjustment would be needed.

Sewerage Treatment Plants(STPs) are complexes systems in which a range of physical, chemical and biological processes occur. Since Activated Sludge Model(ASM) No.1 was published, a number of new mathematical models for simulating biological processes have been developed. However, these models have disadvantages in cost and simplicity due to the laboriousness and tediousness of their procedures. One of the major difficulties of these mathematical model based tools is that the field-operators mostly don't have the time or the computer-science skills to handle there models, so it mainly remains on experts or special engineers. In order to solve these situations and help the field-operators, the $KM^2BM$(K-water & More-M Mass Balance Model) based on the dynamic-mass balance model was developed. This paper presents $KM^2BM$ as a simulation tools for STPs design and optimization. This model considers the most important microbial behavioral processes taking place in a STPs to maximize potential applicability without increasing neither model parameter estimation nor wastewater characterization efforts.
Using agar and gelatin as wall materials, onion oil was microencapsulated using the extrusion spraying technology. A sensitive methodology was developed for quantitative determination of the microencapsulation yield through ethyl acetate extraction and gas chromatographic analyses. Optimal conditions for the microencapsulation process consisting of the ratio of [core material, Cm] to [wall material, Wm] ($X_1$), temperature of dispersion fluid ($X_2$), detergent concentration in dispersion fluid ($X_3$), and concentration of emulsifier $(X_4)$ were determined using response surface methodology. The regression model equation for the yield of microencapsulation (Y, %) of onion oil could be predicted as $Y\;=\;97.028571-0.775000\;(X_1)-0.746726\;(X_1){\cdot}(X_1)\;-\;1.100000\;(X_3){\cdot}(X_2)$. The optimal conditions for the microencapsulation of the onion oil were determined as the ratio of [core material] to [wall material] of 4.5 : 5.5 (w/w), the temperature of dispersion fluid of $17.1^{\circ}C$ detergent concentration in dispersion fluid of 0.03%, and the concentration of emulsifier of 0.42%. Results revealed the most stable microcapsule of onion oil could be formed with the highest yield of microencapsulation (more than 95%) under optimal conditions.
With explosively growing PPI databases, the computational approach for a prediction and configuration of PPI network has been a big stream in the bioinformatics area. Recent researches gradually consider physicochemical properties of proteins and support high resolution results with integration of experimental results. With regard to current research trend, it is very close future to complete a PPI network configuration of each organism. However, direct applying the PPI network to real field is complicated problem because PPI network is only a set of co-expressive proteins or gene products, and its network link means simple physical binding rather than in-depth knowledge of biological process. In this paper, we suggest a protein functional flow model which is a directed network based on a protein functions' relation of signaling transduction pathway. The vertex of the suggested model is a molecular function annotated by gene ontology, and the relations among the vertex are considered as edges. Thus, it is easy to trace a specific function's transition, and it can be a constraint to extract a meaningful sub-path from whole PPI network. To evaluate the model, 11 functional flow models of Homo sapiens were built from KEGG, and Cronbach's alpha values were measured (alpha=0.67). Among 1023 functional flows, 765 functional flows showed 0.6 or higher alpha values.
