  • Generally speaking, it is important to know the activities itself exactly and to control the activities correctly so as to assure timely progress and the quality of any project. In order to progress smoothly in accordance with construction schedule, it is important to systematize the preliminary arrangements necessary for each process and then manage them. In this study, in order to progress smoothly the quality and schedule management of the construction, we can be made systematically pre-works in accordance with construction schedule by the civil construction items of the apartment house construction. we suggested pre-construction control item by the workers through experiential method of construction engineers in accordance with network schedule.

  • In this study, The matrix method was used with common category concept according to the construction project control system. For the purpose of systematic resource management planning, it should be established on accomplished EVM data for clearing the ordering point according to the attribute procurement analysis. Resource management was presented by connecting the material requirement calculation method and the attribute of procurement method based on the EVM, suggested through analyzing process-data modeling using integrated schedule, cost and material.

  • The university facility is made up of multiple buildings and has many maintenance items. In addition, administrative constraints need to be handled within a limited period. Most maintenance work is small scale and multi-work construction, such as waterproofing, needs to be organized. The facility manager makes annual unit price contract with a maintenance company and carries out the maintenance work. On the other hand, delay and rework is occurring because existing maintenance work performed without scheduling based on the manpower input. This study proposed a scheduling model that can support the facility manager to manage maintenance works of multiple university facilities at the program level. The model consists of three stages in order. In object analysis, details of the maintenance items were analyzed and the quantity is calculated based on the quantity takeoff sheet. In resource analysis, the craftsmen and construction period of detailed works are derived for the effective input of craftsmen. In scheduling, the priority of each work and the optimal manpower input are derived. The optimal schedule is selected according to the goodness of fit. The applicability and effectiveness of the prototype was evaluated through a case study and interviews with case participants. The model was found to be an effective tool to support the scheduling of maintenance works for the facility manager.

  • Since the size of the construction project has become massive, complicated and specialized, the use for a substantial amount of information provided from diverse participants is considered important. Schedule information obtained from a variety of sources is key during the construction project. Misunderstanding of schedule management information causes delay of construction period and low quality of construction. Currently, interest in BIM (Building Information Modeling) that produces the necessary data for the entire life cycle of the building process is rising. The study is to construct the BIM-base-information system in order to systematically manage schedule information of the construction work. For this purpose, the study established a BIM-base-schedule-management-business process and drew a classification system for the work for schedule-information construction. The study also drew information that can be extracted from the BIM model among properties required to build certain information. The schedule is made upon consideration of information needed for schedule management, and information required to schedule a timeline of the construction project by process is established.

  • 한국전력공사에서 실시하는 단가공사 및 총가공사에는 전기공사업체에서 민간기술자격자를 일정 수준의 인원을 확보하여야 입찰에 응할 수 있도록 되어 전기공사업계의 경영부담이 증가되고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 민간기술자격 교육기관의 실태를 파악하고 전기 공사업계의 의견을 수렴하여 한국전력공사에 정책적 차원의 건의를 하고 전기공사 민간자격 기술자의 체계적 관리 방안을 도출하고자 한다.

  • 작년 경주 지진으로 원자력 안전에 대한 시민들의 촉각이 예민해져 있는 가운데 최근 대전 지역에서 원자력연구원의 하나로 원자로 건물 외벽 내진 보강 공사 방식에 대한 검증을 요구하는 여론이 일고 있다. 그 동안 원자력연구원에서 진행한 하나로 건물 내진 보강 공사 배경과 주요 일정, 설계 개념, 구조 성능 검증 실험, 공사 현황, 건물 성능 점검, 안전 관리, 정보 공개 및 검증, 향후 계획 등을 정리하여 종합했다.

  • A new and extendable highway should be planned and budgeted by estimating the total construction cost on the basis of the precise cost data. However, the demolition or disjointing cost could not reflect construction site condition sufficiently because it was simply estimated by multiplying the highway structure installation cost by the regular ratio($10\~70\%$) specified in the Korea Standard Estimate. The regular ratio for estimating of demolition and disjointing cost was calculated by not actual construction cost data but subjective experiences of field manager. Therefore, the reliance of the estimated demolition or disjointing cost has been declined. The primary objective of this study is to purpose the standard for estimating proper demolition or disjointing cost of relevant items through various site analysis and survey, and to investigate on the propriety of ratio-unit price method for estimating demolition and disjointing cost.

  • "국가 또는 지자체는 환경전문공사를 다른 업종의 공사와 분리발주하여, 중소환경전문공사업체를 지원해야 합니다. 또 일정 금액 이하의 환경전문공사는 환경산업이 자리 잡을 수 있도록 일정기한 동안 대기업의 참여를 제한해야 합니다." 국회 환경노동위원으로 활동하고 있는 서용교 국회의원은 환경분야에도 대기업과 중소환경업체와의 상생의 길을 모색해야 한다고 강조했다. 서 의원은 이밖에도 폐기물 관련법 개정안 등 다수 입법발의 했다. 서용교 의원은 1968년 경상남도 밀양에서 태어나, 1993년 서울대학교 국사학과를 졸업했으며, 제18대 대통령선거 박근혜후보 중앙선대위 직능총괄본부 환경본부장으로 일 했었다. 제19대 국회의원 선거에서는 새누리당 부산 남구(을) 선거구 국회의원에 출마해 당선 되었다. 현재 서 의원은 국회 환경노동위원회에서 활동 중이다. 다음은 서용교 의원과의 인터뷰 내용이다.

  • Project plan and control is a highly skilled task which is vital for business success, and Project control systems are important for successful project execution. To support construction process management effectively, an integrated cost and schedule control function is required to collect quality data in a timely manner and to provide quality historical data for future planning of new projects. In Korea construction industry, the development and implementation cases of a project control system which to efficiently support construction project planning and controlling processes, have been increased to ensure a project success and the profitability of a construction company. To contribute to improving practical effectiveness of a project control system, the paper reviewed and analyzed the current trends and functional features of current project control systems. And it also described the pending issues and their solutions faced on previous project control systems.

Construction Progress Measurement System by tracking the Work-done Performance (내역물량 측정에 의한 건설공사진도율 산정시스템)

  • The project control system based on the actual values of three objects shall be operated continuously in a timely manner. For collecting/tracking accurate actual performance data, a reasonable basis of measuring work performance and its related measuring methods are needed. Therefore, this research proposes a method of developing and operating the construction progress measurement system. The problem of the conventional method is the difficulty to construct control accounts and to define the basis of measuring the performance of each control account. Therefore, this research proposes the preferable, formal methodology that produces the progress value of the smallest work unit by surveying the installed quantities and estimates percent complete of groups of works or entire project by earned value concept. This research in connection with the hereafter research of the weight value of control accounts will contribute to apply in practice and to develop the scientific construction management technique in the construction industry. Further researches how to trend and forecast the project using the measured progress value are recommended for putting the prosed system of this research to practical use.
